This is a great location to grab groceries and high end name brand items for a low price. There is always a bargain hunt to be had. Come in with an open mind and have fun. Store is always clean. Sometimes the owners are even stocking shelves. Love the variety and I always stop here first prior to Albertsons or Northgate. Ali is a great cashier and works very hard. I do agree with some of the stock hands taking up aisles on busy days. Parking is slim so leave your large 4x4's at home. Make sure you check expiration dates first. Legitimate Outlet with real grocery overstock including hard-to-find gourmet items and oddball products that never sold at grocery stores. Don't confuse Grocery Outlet with the grocery section at places like 99 cent city. Large chains like 99 specialized in items that were factory rejects. I've had several bad experiences at 99 cent city including buying a bag of frozen french fries only to find when opening the bag it was all broken pieces. This Fallbrook location, like most others, pretty much sell the exact same items. But not always. Sometimes there are a few product found nowhere else. - This place has huge banners saying "now open", but it's been opened since 2017. - Bathroom doors are locked. Don't usually shop here, there selcetions are minamal, employees are friendly. Always alot of items outside there front door, like flowers, for whatever holiday it may be. On the way back from a wine buying trip to Temecula, I decided to visit Fallbrook for the first time. That's when I saw this Grocery Outlet, and we decided to check it out ... especially to see if they had any wines that we don't see in our Grocery Outlets in San Diego. And we did! We discovered two wines that we bought to try ... and we picked up a few other grocery items we needed. But back to the wine. One of them was Luxury Edition Pink Pinot Noir Rose. This turned out to be a perfectly balanced sparkling rose made in the Veneto region of Italy. After we tried it at home, we called around our local Grocery Outlets to purchase more, but none of them had it. So ... I called Fallbrook. They had four cases, and they would hold them for me. We drove back up the next day, and our cases were waiting for us. The service was exceptional. COVID-19 precautions are quite evident, from sanitizing carts to requiring masks and physical distancing. Parking was fine in the shared lot. read more

I frequent this establishment bc it is close to home and I can occasionally find good bargains. Today's experience was overall - horrible!!! Cashier named Alli was VERY rude and slammed my groceries. I had to speak up after she slammed my sparkling waters. When I left, I called the store immediately to put in a complaint. I love grocery shopping at Grocery Outlet. They always have a variety of new items, and their prices are excellent. I like that they have certain items dependably and that they also have a variety of short term offerings at excellent prices. So, without having to go to a huge discount market out of town, you can get your staples and some more exotic specialty items at great prices. One of the best things about Grocery Outlet is that the staff is so friendly and helpful. They know who you are and you can feel at home, whether you're a longtime local or fairly new in town. They are just good people, including the owners, Mary and Jeff. I never hesitate to ask anyone working there my questions or for help. Once, I forgot to get a cart and had my arms overflowing with items. Two young men working in the aisle noticed that, asked if I needed a cart, and quickly jumped into action to deliver one to the spot where I was standing. Now, that's service! I also really like that they hire all different kinds of people with different backgrounds, ages, sizes, races, and so on. The employees here used to be SO NICE. I was shopping with my mom and she asked a question to one of the ladies stocking in the cereal aisle. Before entering you will see an employee outside wiping shopping carts and baskets, they also have a hand sanitizer, this makes them one of the safest places to shop due to Covid-19. First time in this store this morning. Planned on picking up a few groceries but had to use the restroomreally bad. "Is there a restroom here?" I politely ask the first clerk I see as I walked in. "Are you shopping???" was the clerk's response."the restroom is for customers only", she says quickly. Personally, I understand and respect this rule for all businesses. It helps keep clean restrooms clean and is very reasonable and fair-- however this unwarranted rudeness on her part was before a professional greeting or a respectful yes/no....Not a good first impression or example of customer service. I love G.O. They have great prices! Wine assortment is interesting... it's kind of a "blind buy" unless you are familiar with the area the wine came from, and then it's a crap shoot. BUT... I have found some excellent red wine and sparkling Blanc de Blanc for $4.99 a bottle. Fun to try different things, and if you don't like it or it hasn't been stored properly, save your receipt. You can return it, no problem! My latest find from Paso Robles at $4.99 a bottle Red4 blend - Vina Robles. Bought a whole case... now I want more!!! I normally really enjoy shopping here, but now because of covid , they do not allow customers to use their bathroom. I won't be back until they allow it again. I just don't support businesses that won't let customers use the bathroom. I spend well over 150 every time I shop here. Loving these prices and the organics! Wine pricing blew my mind! I was not expecting much but left very happy.

Me and my boyfriend came to the store and did a little grocery run. We picked up a 3 pound package of the Harris Ranch hamburger meat. We used half of it and froze the other half. When we went to thaw the other half to cook for dinner, it had this weird brown goop coming out of the package and had a weird smell. We took it back to them and they were very professional and helpful about the situation. They offered us a full refund but we liked the meat so we just asked for another package. The Fallbrook owners are horrific! (All over the store it states we take anything back hassle free). Firs of all I shop in the store at least 1 o 2 time dailey as it is super convenient. I had 1 return the entire time the store has been opened. I was given the third degree with a rude remark from the owner MARY. She didn't hold back. The walnuts were ROTTON so I figured rather that throwing them away I would take them back. She was rude in front of many other customers and belittled and shamed me in front of employees as well as customers. Love it! I go at least once a week. The inventory is constantly changing so if you find something you like better buy a lot because chances are the won't have it next time. Lots of good deals including wines from small wineries, many which I never heard of but turned out to be good value. I highly recommend "Gro Out" and enjoy coming here more than Albertson's because of the great prices, short lines, and friendly staff. read more
