This grocery appears to stock 'put of season' items, national brands and brands unknown to me. I did check expiration dates and they were within the next several months. A small organic produce area is offered at good prices. Just be sure to check freshness before throwing them in your cart. There are more produce offerings in the traditional variety. A very small meat cooler has chicken, ground turkey, ground beef and a couple other choices. Lots of frozen foods in all categories including organic. They so offer seasonal items - on this trip things for the garden. The prices here are much better than the other nearby grocery. Plenty of parking. Wide aisles and clean. Check it out. read more

Cashiers are all friendly. Jeff in produce is quite a nice fella. All associates engage in pretty chill small talk with me and have optimal social skills. The workers here make me feel like apart of the Grocery Outlet extended family - like a welcomed 3rd cousin who now gets invited to Thanksgiving dinner out of slight pity. I go out of my way to shop at the Maple Valley location! It's less crowded and always well maintained. It's a bargin market, so you'll find off brands or discontinued items frequently. You'll find the marketing failures or the old style of packaging. Just always look at the expiration dates and know you won't get a long shelf life off their pantry items. But it's great for the weekly shopping needs and to stay budget friendly. I was finding eggs at a reasonable enough price point during the last egg shortages! They'll be small ones but I'm happy to have eggs of any kind when QFC had them at $8 a dozen at the time!! They have a great liquor selection. A great deal on wine, beer and spirits! As summer comes back around, I'll be using them for my sangria ingredients. The staff is attentive and helpful. I never feel like they would rather not be there nor have I noticed a time they were short staffed. That's a great thing when retailers these days are all struggling to keep fully staffed! read more

I don't always go to Grocery Outlet, but when I do, I'm looking for good deals on fancy cheese. I've been to several locations over the years and the Maple Valley one seems to be the best for what I'm looking for as they typically have a pretty large selection. Overall store is clean and well organized. They also seem to be a better job than the other stores when it comes to making sure the produce is fresh and ready to go. One of the selling points this company likes is "NOSH" aka healthy foods. This last trip I noticed they've expanded their frozen vegetarian/vegan section so I just might be coming here more often! For some people, you may be able to find a good chunk of your weekly grocery needs here, at bare minimum it's worth taking a look! read more

Have been several times this school year, and it's a great place to grab a few items and get treats for kiddos lunches. Some prices are so good and others are ok. Kiddo is currently in love with the blue mermaid waffles they have and they are indeed tasty- novelty aside. Service is always great and it's a nice clean space. This store is located in the new development of Four Corners. Between Dairy Queen/Johnson's and the fire station on Hwy 169. It's across the street from Fred Meyers. This is a great grocery store at a discounted price. My first stop is here to check out what great selections they have and to purchase them at a low price. They have tons of different food, home decoration, clothing, toys, plants, cosmetics, etc. If you are from Hawaii, they have portuguese sausage from Hawaii! Ah! Way cheaper than Uwajimaya for sure! Under $2.00! Products are stock at for a short period of time and not carried for long since this is an outlet store. This could be up there with Winco. Low prices and great savings! But you don't have to bag your own groceries or pay with cash/debit. They accept all types of credit cards and tender. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Lots of parking. I work here, that's pretty much it. We do have really good deals- but we don't have waffle crisps.

I know some wrote a few bad reviews but this place reminds me of Aldi, minus the $.25 shopping cart rental. The bargains are great. Paul Newman's Own past a sauce $1.39. Now mind you may not find everything your looking for but the store is clean and the staff very helpful. I literally go to this market every day just because of the low prices and that you'll never know what you'll find there! I find some incredible items every week and I have realized that if I don't buy a bundle of those items, they will be GONE the next day. (Word gets around!) The staff is great, know me on sight, always helpful at every turn. Their organics section is growing every day which my wife loves. We always go shopping here FIRST before going to a national chain supermarket but their prices are literally half of what you'll find there. And I'm not just talking about food: I also mean cleaning products, detergent, dishwasher soap, clothes, sundry items and more! And when they put some out for sale, I mean it's a DEAL! The beer and wine selection is great. I only wish they had more fridge space for the beer because I often have to buy beer which is room temperature. In this day and age of our struggling economy, Grocery Outlet allows us and others to stretch our food dollars to the maximum. I hope they never, ever leave! Over the last 7 years, casually have probably spent $7,000 at this MV 4 corner G.O. Today marks my last visit. Never had an issue with personnel, ever, until these last two visits which comes down to one kid checker, Gavyn (saw his name tag and it is printed on receipt). Last visit he was rude, gave me dirty looks and stood there staring at me but wouldn't tell me my total. I had to search to find his register tally (it's not really all that visible). He gives me the change in complete silence and moves on. Doesn't say a word. I vowed on this visit to avoid his checkout line but he was the only cashier so I got a repeat treatment. No hello, goodbye, here's your total. The only difference is he wasn't giving me a dirty look. This kid definitely needs an A## kicking. This is how we end up with the Bill Gates and Anthony Fauci types of the world. They never got their A## whooped and became little demons set out to make the world a miserable place where ever they tread. read more

We shop at this as store about once a week. Our dog has dietary issues and eats boiled chicken as part of her diet. Grocery Outlet has the best price in the area for her chicken! This isn't the grocery that I go to for all of my necessities, but the few times that I have been, I always do find some very cheap and new products. They have some cheap vegan products, which is always nice. I do have a harder time trying to find things in this store, but not because it is uncleanly. The people that work there are very nice and helpful! Recommended for those who just want to browse the aisles looking for various cheap products/foods but there were many things I had on my list that I was unfortunately not able to find, so you might have to visit another grocery store afterwards! read more

This was my first time visiting this store. I've heard lots of good things about this place so I decided to check it out for myself. I had a few items on my list, but my plan was to just browse up and down the aisles and check out the prices. I was able to pick up a few things on my list and a few things that were new. How did I not know that Chips Ahoy had chocolate chip cookies with a brownie center!?! Great find! The best thing about my experience was checking out. Yes, as good as it gets! Eric and Kayla have been extremely involved with the community from the get-go. They have hired a pleasant and helpful crew that I applaud. Their collection of healthier food items hits the spot with my likings. Plus this wine and beer selection (mostly the wine) is hard to beat in the entire Maple Valley area and the prices, "Holy Mackerel)! I've read all the glaringly fabulous reviews and I wonder how truly biased they are. The "selection" of items is far worse picked over then a ransacked Ross after Black Friday. The deals are entertaining once you realized a variety of the products are actually discontinued! The mouse hair color? Discontinued. The offerings are limited, I'm assuming based on the expiration date? I was baffled by how small the pastry, and produce section was. I personally was put off by the chaotic mess the personal hygiene area was. The young woman working the floor restocking and trying to recover was doing her best. The smattering of clothes in between "manager special / last chance" section was appalling. It was bizarre that the organic section even existed in a store like this. Aside from being nice and bright inside, the smell definitely put me off. I appreciate the need to save money when buying in bulk but not like this. Thanks for making the other reviews shine, but I unfortunately won't be back! read more

Much larger than the Kent store, cleaner too. It gets a 5 because of their staff. Constantly smiling and friendly. They bag the groceries carefully. Best of all, they consistently ring my coupons, even though I never bring them with me. Even on $5 off coupons. Way to go! read more
