A really chill Grocery Outlet experience and I KNOW all about Grocery outlets. I've been to so many in California due to traveling for my job... The staff are super helpful, the store is clean, and the aisles are spacious. I couldn't find fault with anything inside. The young people working at the checkout were friendly and helpful. They have a really positive energy and it makes the whole experience a good one. Go on in and save some money!

The people that work here are really the reason I continue to shop here. Everyone Herr is extremely friendly and helpful. On top of that, they always have great prices on certain items. While they don't always have the same things, and you can't always find everything you would in a standard chain grocery store, they always have the necessities and they always manage to keep their prices low. I'm pretty sure their boneless skinless vhicken breasts have been $1.99 a lb since they opened and if that's not a reason to go their in itself, then shop to see how nice the people treat you and how fast they open another lane when more than 2 people are in checkout. Keep it up Grocery Outlet. I think you guys are stellar except when you run out of Albanese gummies.

But now this is just a lil closer look on what the date was incase ya forgot.

Surprised how many great brands they carried. Lots of organic choices in produce. I spent 25% less than I do at Vons.

I complained previously about false advertisement by Aldi, which is only the tip of the ice-berg. It is also true that they have the worst check-out personnel imaginable. Rude is an understatement. Almost every time I check out, there is at least 1 overcharge. One of their repeat abnormalities: banana weights, and charges. There are 2 weight prints, meaning the bananas are weighted twice. The first time I pointed at this, I was given a refund. The second time this occurred, the same manager -- Alyssa her name -- repeatedly ignored the 2 weight prints, alleging the charge was correct. Why would she confirm an overcharge in the first case, then allege it is all correct, while the same abnormality repeats ? In addition, I was overcharged more than 1 USD for the couscous. Alyssa's excuse, in line with their classic false advertisement: "Oh, we accidentally placed the wrong tag to it". None of these are accidental. They used to do the same with apples. I complained multiple times, then they stopped their false advertisement for apples. The cashier was Jamie. A consistently arrogant, intimidating, and rude cashier. Together with Alyssa, they make sure people get defrauded, and verbally abused. Behind this is intentional FRAUD, DECEPTION. ALDI does not save us money. ALDI steals money from us, and sells us low-quality products. ALDI's food poisonings, warnings about expired, contaminated  products, hit the news ongoingly. "Aldi saves money" is not true. Low quality products, together with ongoing false advertisement, and fraud-practicing cashiers/managers guarantee you don't save actually, but lose money. The FDA should audit ALDI routinely, and there should be ongoing audits for deceptive and fraudulent advertisement/sale practices. Report your bad experience here. Refuse to be defrauded and poisoned.

Of course, there were many things that were new, and I ended up buying quite a few food items to take back home. -- Grande Alberone Moscato (on sale for $7.99, Was $9.99). Very good, super easy to drink. Should become our new go-to NYE sparkling wine, if we can find it. -- on the opposite end, winking owl wine now comes in 3 liter boxes (comparable to 4 bottles) for $12.95. Supposedly will keep for 30 days after opening? -- Alcohol cheddar varieties for $1.99. Got craft beer cheddar (imperial stout) and purple moon cheddar (petite sirah). Continues to amaze me how inexpensive fresh strawberries are at Aldi's in california, even in the desert. A clamshell 16oz was $2.49, and they looked like good quality.

Glad I did - the sun is strong even in December! Staff members were friendly and helpful - one person directed me to the sun block. I bought a tube from the Seaweed Bath Co., thinking that it seemed a bit pricey at around $20 but then checked online and saw that it's $19 direct from the manufacturer. I looked around the store and saw some interesting products that I'd never seen before, like mycelium-based bacon (MyBacon). Some items seem overpriced (olive oil) but others (Sappo Hill or Dr. Bronner's soap) are very reasonable. I'm giving Joshua Tree Health Foods 5/5 Green Stars for social and environmental impact, based on the following: * Large selection of bulk ingredients, from nuts and flour to herbs and spices. * Almost all of the items stocked in bulk were organic. * When I looked at specific products, like bar soap, the brands in stock were among the most ethical. * A large amount of vegan items on sale such as Nuts for Cheese and Violife dairy. * Inclusive business where all are welcome.
