I have been using this business for the past 3 years with absolutely no issues. My dog is super anxious, but they are able to easily handle him and always give him the cutest hair cut. From the very first visit, we felt completely comfortable leaving Dottie in the staff's care. The appointment can take a few hours, but I never have to worry-- we are local and they always call me when she's ready for pickup. I truly wanted to like this grooming salon. The women that work there are extremely nice and it's a local spot. I went twice, the first time I noticed it was over crowded. They had so many dogs in the back waiting to be groomed. I figured it was just before the holidays and they were trying to accommodate all requests. My dog was there for 4 hours, he came back a little traumatized but puppy's don't like baths. The second time I went I called in the morning to see if they had any appointments that day my puppy had gotten into some stinky garbage. They told me to come in now. I did. Again so many other dogs were there in waiting. This time only one woman was working she seemed very overwhelmed. I left her with my puppy. It took 3 hours, I came picked him up and went on my way. The woman mentioned to me he wasn't a good boy I was lucky he was cute. And I said did he bite you? She said "no he just wouldn't stop moving." I mean he is a puppy he is scared. Just seemed like she was overwhelmed. The whole car ride home he was in pain he was afraid of me even touching him. I examined him when I got home and noticed the woman buzzed over his testicles. They look like they were knicked by the razor scabbed and blending. Nothing serious but still! How can anyone do that!? And not even mention it to me? I'm sure he screamed. I took him to the vet she told me to just keep putting antibiotic cream on them. He also now flinches when I lift my hand? Did she smack him because he wouldn't stop moving? He also has had non stop diarrhea since we came back. Don't know if that's related but there were so many other dogs in there. Do not bring your dog here. I really wanted to give a local spot a chance I am so disappointed and horrified. To get my dog back with bleeding testicles makes me want to cry, ***TO RESPOND TO THE REPLY BELOW I DID NOT LEAVE MY DOG TO ATTEND ERRANDS THIS PLACE HAD MY DOG FOR 3 HOURS ALREADY AND MY NEIGHBOR CALLED ME ASKING TO DRIVE HER TO THE HOSPITAL BECAUSE SHE WAS HAVING A MISCARRIAGE AND I CALLED ASKING WHEN THE DOG WOULD BE DONE AND WOULD IT BE OK IF I WAS A LITTLE LATE TO GET HIM BECAUSE I HAD TO TAKE SOMEONE TO THE ER. I FELT THIS WAS IRRESPONSIBLE AND WE WERE ABLE TO FIND HER ANOTHER RIDE AND SO I COULD GET MY DOG ON TIME WHEN I WAS CALLED**** This place is filthy and the staff treated my dog awfully. read more

We only have our dog Jack part time. We share custody . A few times he came to us looking like a mangled furry mess. Couldn't see his face which was okay cause his eyes had all that black goop stuck down the inside corners. Groomin tails worked wonders. He looked 5 lbs thinner, cleaner and like a puppy again. I really didn't want to leave a negative review but I've been upset about this all day. My instincts told me to turn around when I walked in the door but my pup was in desperate need of a bath and a trim so I stayed. First alarm bell went off when I saw two other patrons walking in at the exact same time as me for their appointments, which were booked simultaneously with mine. Not the worst but not the best; most places overbook in my experience so it was to be expected. Second and louder alarm bell was the smell when I walked in. It smelled like an old, mildewy basement. There was a liter box full of cat poop, and bird(s) squawking so loudly that I felt more like I was in a pet store as opposed to a pet salon. But like I said my dog needed grooming and they were able to accommodate and have been around forever so I told myself I was being a snob and stayed. Wrong decision and I wish I listened to my gut... I ~explicitly~ said that I like my pup to be scruffy and to just TRIM her coat so that she's more comfortable in the heat. I said I like her ears to be short but other than that please don't cut her down too much. Well, I picked up my dog three hours later and she's essentially bald. I'm talking egg-head, shaven, no beard, no fluff, no scruff, bald. BALD! The only thing that looks like it wasn't touched were her ears, which were the ONE thing that I asked to be made shorter! On top of that, she didn't even smell clean! I'm so upset. If I wanted my dog to be shaven, I would have requested as much. I won't be returning. read more

Should've read the reviews before taking my dog here. They gave him a great cut and were reasonable on price but 3 days after my 6 month puppy's first groom there he developed a cough and was nonstop choking and throwing up. Find out days later it's not only kennel cough but a more intense version of bronchitis. Called the shop to politely let them know and they were defensive and nasty. I was the first appointment at 9am and they had multiple dogs there already waiting and some in the back in crates. Why take so many appointments and keep the dogs in cages while they wait when you have two people working? My puppy is fully vaccinated and probably picked up this disease sitting in the crate where other dogs were, either barking next to him or a dirty crate another dog was in prior. The lady on the phone said in her 15 years she's never heard of anyone coming down with this. Sounds like inaccurate information if you read the reviews you'll see others complaining about the dirty conditions in the back (where my puppy probably picked this up) and the owner being nasty and defensive. How about an apology? A refund for the groom after 1000 dollars in vet bills? Some empathy ? Guarantee that you'll clean your place up ? Disgusting. Won't be back! read more

Never brought my dog to a groomer before so I didn't know what to expect. All I know is I'll never try to cut my dogs hair again! Karen the owner was so nice and really knowledgable and showed me how to take care of my dogs coat to prevent so much shedding. she even told me the harness I bought was actually hurting my dog, and set me up with one more fit for her shape and weight. She even put a cute bandana on her neck so when I picked her up she looked like a million bucks! I could tell even tina my French bull seemed comfortable being there and she not always happy about being in unfamiliar places. Highly recommend this salon! read more

Have been there twice now to get my pet pug bathed. The guy who attends to her grooming is very sweet (I can't remember his name, sorry!) and seems to find Ellie equally sweet, which is good considering she hates baths, getting her nails cut and her ears cleaned. Seems like a patient guy and probably why he is working with our four-legged friends. Our last service was supposed to be $45 but I was charged 48 or 49 $. I didn't say anything so that's on me. I will clarify charges next time. I gave a cash tip separate from what I was charged for my baby's services. I like that she comes out wearing a cute bandana and smelling half way decent at least for a couple of hours. That's my girl, a real stink pot. I think if I keep coming in ill have more of an impression about services, customer service, etc. For now, its close to my house, they can fit her in on the day I need her washed and again her "stylist" seems to be able to deal with her 11 1/2 month old diva self! read more
