The gentleman who picked up the phone was very friendly and mentioned that I could just walk in anytime for a nail trimming. I grabbed my mini dachshund and headed off to Sydnee's :) they greeted me right away & accommodated me so quickly. I believe the gentleman who I spoke with on the phone was the one who trimmed my dog's nails. I love that you can see the dog directly while they're on the table to alleviate any stress and anxiety. My dog usually doesn't do well with nail trimmings but he seemed to be so calm around him! The guy took really good care of my dog during the process. She called me after two hours to let me know he was ready and complained that he "hasn't learned to stop barking". Anyone with any dog knowledge knows that puppies bark when they are under stress. During the phone conversation, we had a minute with a bad connection and I told her that I missed some of what she had just said because the phone had cut out. She rudely commented, "no, that was your dog barking." She proceeded to REPEATEDLY yell, "Stop that!" at my pup, while calling him by name...while I was LISTENING on the phone. Anyone with any dog knowledge knows that when a dog is stressed out and barking, the last thing that you want to do is yell at them. It only increases stress and therefore increases their barking. I immediately drove to pick up my puppy. When I got there, the lady at the desk told me the price, which was five dollars more than what we had agreed upon. I told her that the amount was $45 last month for the same service. She asked the owner, who rudely replied, "Well, it's $50 today". When I asked what the difference was, she told me that my puppy hadn't stopped barking & he had thrown up and she had to clean it up & do more brushing. I told her that I imagine he threw up because he was stressed and that I heard her yelling at him while I was on the phone, so I could only imagine how she treated him when I wasn't on the phone. She looked right at me & denied yelling at him. (I know what I heard) I would never take an animal to this woman again. Oh...and guess who hasn't barked ONCE since we picked him up?

I called to make an appointment for my Peaches & their quote was fair compared to other places that I called. We met with Jessye who was professional, gentle & very friendly. Peaches was very anxious but she worked her magic & Peaches melted in her arms. She asked what I wanted & was transparent about how the cut would be due to her matted fur. I told her to do whatever she though would look the cutest. She told me it would probably take 3-4 hours & when she finished, she gave me a heads up to head on over. & omg! Peaches came out looking brand new! She was so adorable with her new cut, incredibly soft & smelled super good!
