We wanted to get her cleaned up as soon as possible. I called Meadows Pet Care on Monday, and they were able to get us in Tuesday morning. When we arrived, she was greeted by their "Husky Expert". We discussed what the service was going to be in detail, and she gave me an approximate time when I could pick her up. Two-and-a-half hours later I found a very happy, clean, and deshedded Desi, ready to go home. It was clear that she was treated very nicely, and the woman did a great job with her. The price was fully in line with what I expected after talking with my daughter who has two Huskies she has taken to a few other places. This was good experience for me and my dog. We'll be back to Meadows Pet Care.

My dog was scared, as many dogs are when they go to a vet or groomer. The woman who came out to take him back was an older white woman. She literally DRAGGED him back by the leash. I told her I could pick him up and hand him to her and she ignored me and dragged him back. I also verbally warned her that my senior dog will SCREAM when you clip his nails, but he will not ever bite. He is the sweetest senior dog with no teeth. I told her 2-3 times he will 100% scream very loud like a human. After she dragged him back and closed the door, we did shortly after hear him scream. The woman quickly opened the door again and said to my wife and I, "he screamed and scared me! He is a bad dog! Bad boy!" I was so shocked this came out of an employee's mouth. I corrected her and told her that I warned her about the loud screams, and all she responded was, "well he scared me," then she walked away and went back to the closed room. We paid our bill but told the other woman at the counter the other lady was rude. We will NEVER come back. I should have asked to speak to a manger because that woman should NOT be working with animals. That was disgusting behavior. I did not feel that my dog was safe with her.

He has the most gorgeous coat and so I like him to look like the champion he was. I have a bit of arthritis in my hands and a bad back, so I can trim him with scissors but I can't bathe him, blow dry or shave his undercarriage. This is a perfect partnership! They help me with all the things I can't do! Their pricing is really reasonable! They are so kind to my boy, he used to be a therapy dog and has good manners so it's great for them and him. We moved here last year and I am so happy we found them!

I have never experienced anything like that from her so I was surprised. I let Jennifer know about how she was with the last groomer so she was aware. When I went to pick her up, she said that she was wonderful and she didn't have any problems with her nipping at her or anything when she trimmed her nails, so maybe it's just the way she manages the dog.
