This is definitely our new groomer. I called a few different places but with how helpful and nice Maggie was on the phone she had me sold. I instantly booked an appointment on the phone and Maggie helped me set up my account. When we got to our appointment everyone was so friendly. Destiny was my groomer today (and we will be requesting her every time now), she was so sweet to my baby girl when we got there and did an amazing job. I love the report card that was sent home with my pup and the bows were too cute. Mariana was my fur baby's groomer today and she did amazing! My doggie always comes out smelling fresh and clean after her de-shed. They also give you a 20 minute pick up notice before the dogs are finished so you can pick them up right when they are done. Maddie and Destiny were amazing! We just moved to the city and immediately looked for a grooming place for our fur babies. This one is only 4 minutes from our house, which is super convenient, and the great reviews convinced me to book an appointment online, and it was so easy to do :) My dogs had been with the same groomer for two years, so I was a little nervous about how they'd react to someone new, but Maddie and Destiny did an incredible job making them feel comfortable. I loved her initial groomer Sierra, (current groomer) Keri, and all the front staff. You can tell they love working with the pups and care for them. They listen to needs and always do their best! After our previous groomer sold their business, we tried to stay with the new owners for a while and the place just went downhill. So, we began our search in our local area for a new groomer. But having an Alaskan Malamute, because of their size and amount of hair - we got a lot of "No's". One lady we spoke with did turn us down but said, "If you don't mind the drive, Give Hot Diggity Dog a call." And I have to admit - best decision ever. The place is well organized, the staff (thank you Sierra, Rachel and David) are efficient and friendly, and most importantly my dog is finally starting to let someone other than me to trim her nails! I am so disappointed with their grooming service. I brought my 3.5 month old puppy in for full service grooming. They were super nice, but when I picked her up, she looked clean, but not much different. I was confused when they said "she was scared of the clippers so I just trimmed her face". She was clean and cute, but I paid over $100 just for something I could have done at home. A few weeks later her fur/hair was getting out of control so I took het to Odies grooming and they were completely up front. They said that because she was a puppy if she was too scared of the clippers, they would downgrade from a full service to a "bath", and I wouldn't be charged for the full service. They spent a long time, but got her comfortable with the clippers and she looks great. I feel now that I was completely "ripped off" by Hoy Diggity Resort. read more
