Groomingdale's is a little hole in the wall next to a grocery store, but they do a great job! Everyone I've talked with has been nice either in person or on the phone has been nice. The prices are very reasonable too! They usually give me some at home grooming tips to do between grooms with them. I've taken my big husky pit mix in for a bath a brush out. The groomers always do such a great job of getting all his undercoat brushed out. I've also taken my long hair dachshund mix in for a full groom a couple times. Never had any problems. My dogs always come out super happy and smelling and looking great! I definitely trust them with my dogs. read more

My dog has not been here but after reading the reviews, I will absolutely not take her there. I will absolutely not have her in a cage for 5 or 6 hours and I sure as heck won't tolerate any wounds on my dog. Customer service sounds terrible too. No thanks, I will move on. read more

WARNING: Pictures included are graphic. This fresh hell is a concentration camp for dogs. I dropped my dogs off at 10 am on a weds. I prefaced the visit with needing them to be done before 5 because when I asked the lady how long she said she didn't know, so I said yeah okay can you at least have them ready by 5 then? She wrote it down and said they should be done around then. I said okay and left the safety and care of my precious babies to this awful business. I heard nothing from them for 4 hours so I called. They said they would not be ready and they didn't know when. I called again at 5:30, they said they'd be done by 6. I said okay and my bf and I were there by 6. They only had one dog done, ans she was in a return kennel, with no food or water, mind you, and had barely started working on our puppy. What made it ever worse, after everything already, they cut my puppy. And when I say cut, I mean a HUGE chunk of skin almost to muscle. They complained about him being squirmy when I told them he was a puppy and this was his first grooming visit. They kept telling us they needed two people to hold him. So if two people were holding him how did he get cut so bad?? So a vet bill of $310 later, and with a very sad uncomfortable puppy, im headed home never to return to this god awful place. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and they gave me a whole headache. Take your dogs here if you want the trouble. read more

They cut my dog's neck, requiring sutures and tried to cover it up with liquid bandage. They did not even take him to the vet to be helped!!! They also had my dogs for 10 hours without the proper bathroom breaks and water. Very unprofessional. I do NOT recommend you go to this groomer. read more

The groomer cut both of my dogs ears. she told me about one dog, but she didn't tell me about the other dog she cut. When I picked up my dogs she was hollering at one of them to get out of the cage. My dogs was shaking like they was scared and there spirit was different, it took sometime the next day to act like themselves. Please just be careful with your babies (dog). I took my dog in at 8:30am didn't get him back till 2:30. They said to give them 4hrs, so I went in at 12:30 to see if he was done, he was only bathed. I waited another 2hrs and went in and he was sitting in a cage at the front done. It took SIX HOURS for him to be cooped up in a scary place not even getting groomed. The only satisfaction I had was that it did look like a decent grooming job but way to expensive and too rude for me to go back. $65 for a body shave and cleaned up face on a Scottish terrier who ways 20lbs. I could go to Hollywood feed for $45 and see better results. I was desperate which is why I chose them this time. read more

My 6 year old mini schnauzer has always loved going to the vet and to be groomed at his old place but they unfortunately lost their groomer and we had to switch to somewhere else and let me tell you THIS IS NOT THE PLACE! He has never had a problem being bathed or groomed, my mother and I are able to do it in the bathtub at home. (He's that easy going) and ever since going to this place he shakes uncontrollably when being bathed... he has NEVER done this before... I've been using Groomingdale's services for my four-legged son, Verdell since they opened for business. Their services have been spot on each and every time I've taken Verdell to them. Verdell has gotten aggressive in his older years, but they are able to service him, because they know how to manage his anxiety. When I take Verdell somewhere he does not want to be, he shakes, but not at Groomingdales. Thank you Groomingdales' staff for being so wonderful to Verdell. read more

My ShihTzu looked adorable when they were finished with her. She was calm and feisty when I picked her up. I have taken her to other places and she acted terrified when I picked her up like she had been through an ordeal. Upon my arrival to get her she behaved as if she enjoyed her time there. This may sound crazy but if you know your pup you can tell if they are happy & relaxed or behaving like a traumatized pup. She enjoyed her time there and looked amazing after grooming. Groomingdale's does at wonderful job grooming our sweet Missy. She is a Shizu/Poodle mix. She always looks and smells incredible.

After calling several groomers in a 20 mile radius, I called these folks. They had me bring my 3 pound Yorkie in. 20 minutes later my Kodi Bleu went right into the owners arms. She noted the knots in her fur and told me how to combat them. Later in the day they called me to say they had combed out all the knots and double checked if I still wanted to cut her short. I left it to their decision. When I picked her up they offered to cut her shorter if I wanted. They had done a great job on her face ears and paws. Kodi will be back in 8 weeks. read more

I would leave 0 stars if I could. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE. They do not care about animals. My dog nails were bleeding on every paw. They claimed it was from my dog walking on concrete?? Ok. That makes no sense. Not only that but his ears are bleeding on the inside. One ear is bleeding on the outside. My gut is telling me they had 0 patience and man handled my dog, just based on his injuries. They muzzled him and proceeded to tell how the neighbors complained about my dog barking. They probably shouldn't be located in the mall then. He is a puppy, I'm not sure what these people expect or what profession they think they got themselves into. When I called about the bleeding they told me I could bring him back and they would put a powder on the nails to make them stop. I will never bring them back here. I wish I wouldn't have even tipped and I wish I would have read through the reviews.. Pathetic they call themselves pet groomers. Below you can see all the pictures of him bleeding. His grooming was done at 12:30 and we picked him up at 3pm, he was still bleeding at 5pm. read more

Most pet groomers around are dog only but Groomingdales was more than happy to take care of my Persian who's hair is too long for her own good.
