The Customer Service really went down here. I woke up early to drop my car off for an oil change. I was told that even if you make an appointment, it doesn't really matter. Just show up as soon as you can. When I showed up, it took a while for someone to see me and come out to get my car. They told me it would be a couple hours so I was prepared to go back home and do something else. Maybe two hours later I got a text saying they were done with the initial oil change but had some suggestions on other services. I declined the other services and said I would be picking up my car shortly. When I walked into the cashiers office, no one was in there. I waited around and looked at the car service people they all kinda looked at me and laughed. Eventually, the cashier walked in and she even said none of my guys came in to help you? And I said nope. And she said I'm so sorry but what can I do for you and then I told her I was just picking up my car and coming to pay. Overall, the price for this oil change is way more expensive than the other Toyota dealership I went to prior, so I don't think I'll be coming back here just because of the price and the bad service. read more

Final update: After Groove installed my tie rods, I began noticing a rotational vibration coming from underneath the vehicle. I contacted Groove, and they brought the car in for inspection. Two of their mechanics test drove it in an attempt to replicate the issue but claimed they could not identify any problem. They told me the vibration was due to my tires. I explained that the tires had never caused any vibration before and that the issue consistently occurred around 40 mph. Despite this, they maintained that nothing was wrong and that no repairs were necessary, stating they could not reproduce what I was experiencing. I then took the vehicle to another mechanic, who quickly identified a blown needle bearing as the cause of the vibration. This experience reflects a broader pattern I encountered with Groove. Each time an issue arose with my vehicle, they were unable to diagnose or replicate the problem, while other shops were able to identify the issues almost immediately. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend getting a second opinion if you are told nothing is wrong by them and bring video proof or they will still say there is nothing wrong, especially if you are still noticing symptoms. Otherwise, you may risk further damage due to an undiagnosed problem. Personally, I would not return for repairs unless it was something they were obligated to address under warranty. read more

I purchased one of the oil change packs, but be sure to plan for a minimum week in advance if you want to use it. If you try and do a walk-in for an oil change, you'll need to "drop your car for the day." Groove used to have excellent customer service so it was worth the commute over. I spoke with someone in the service office today who was very short and clipped with their responses when they shared the new practices for getting in. I don't recommend purchasing the oil change pack unless you live close to Groove and have more flexibility in your day. read more

Needed a 12v battery for 2022 Rav4. Called for a price. $168, for the battery, $50. to install. Decided to use them, so called to schedule & confirm the price. Josh in Service Dept said $50. for the install, & Jose in Parts confirmed $167.27 for the battery. Went to drop it off, and chap up front (one of the service managers) said, "It will run about $350. Told him I'd called TWICE in 2 days and was quoted $218. His response, "Jose isn't even working today." Yeah, well, someone claiming to be Jose quoted the same price as the day before. Cancelled this appt, the upcoming service on my Prius, and won't be buying the $219. service contract for our daughter's Prius. Came here to get my car serviced/ an oil change and it took me getting out of my car and approaching a service guy to get some help. For reference--There were a few just standing around and I had an appointment. Once I got some help, I explained some other things that I noticed that needed some attention on my car and was told that I would just need to make another appointment. I did ask if they could get me to check things out while I was there and he said no, just call for another appointment. Terrible experience with Groove Toyota and I will not return. The engine blew on my 36k mile, 2023 Toyota Tundra Platinum (Recall/Known Defect). Groove had my truck for 7 weeks before completing the repair. In the meantime, I was "loaned" a Tacoma. Not a huge deal except I use my truck for work. It did not meet the need with its smaller, uncovered bed, and I had to rent a trailer for some of my jobs. Again, not a big deal. I had the loaner for 7 weeks and put light miles on it (2500 miles). When I turned it in, they took the keys. I got my truck and away I went. I noticed several days later a $350 charge on my credit card. I received no invoice, no call, nothing. After chasing them down over several days (no one would return calls or respond), I was told the charge was to repair rock chips to the windshield. I never noticed any while driving and it was never brought up during the return. Even if true, that would be normal wear and tear in Colorado in the winter time. They had no solution for me. It's bad enough I didn't have my truck for nearly 2 months (actual repair took two days!) Stay away! And obviously don't buy a Toyota. Reliability reputation is gone. V6 motors are grenading due to poor quality control at the factory, as well as poor engine design. read more

My daughter was looking to buy a used car in Denver (she lives there) and we stopped at Groove Toyota. We had seen a 2023 Hyundai Sante Fe Hybrid listed on their website for about $26k. After driving the car, we asked for their "out the door" price and the price quote was $33,300 after taxes and included an extra $3,800 in dealer added accessories that were not disclosed on the website and we were told that they were non-negotiable. I called later and spoke to a sales manager to express my dis-satisfaction and he claimed that we could have refused the extras.....but that was clearly not the case when we were in the dealership. I would recommend avoiding the place but if you go in there, expect high pressure sales tactics and hidden fees. I told the sales person that nobody was going to pay $33k for that car and they scoffed at me. I looked it up as I was typing this review and noticed that they've dropped the price $1,500 this week. They might actually sell it if they quit with the deceptive sales tactics. read more

I purchased a vehicle from Groove Toyota today. While I genuinely like the car itself, I was very disappointed with the sales experience. I felt pressured and misled throughout the process. I repeatedly declined the extended warranty--at least four times--but the F&I manager continued to push it. After being there for nearly three hours and feeling worn down, I ultimately agreed just so I could leave. I regret that decision. Additionally, I later learned that I was sold multiple add-on products that were already installed on the vehicle. For example, I was charged $200 for wheel locks, only to realize afterward that they were already on the car. When I questioned this, the salesperson told me that even if I had declined them, they "would have given them to me anyway." The same situation occurred with the exterior protective sealant, which I learned the car already had. This experience left me feeling misled and taken advantage of. Buying a car should not involve pressure or a lack of transparency. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I will not purchase from Groove Toyota again and would caution others to ask very detailed questions before agreeing to any add-ons or warranties. read more

I did not get my title until October 22 for a vehicle I purchased June 13. I will say the buying experience was pleasant enough for a dealership. We were able to preorder a 2025 Toyota Sienna, and get the color we wanted. The sales side was respectful and once the Sienna had arrived I was able to pick it up and go through all the paperwork in only a few hours. I purchased my vehicle, cash, in June 2025. When the temp tags were due to expire in August I reached out and attempted to see why my title had not been issued but received no response. I confirmed with the DMV that no title had been received and ended up having to drive three hours roundtrip to get a second set of temp tags from this dealership. I called weekly, then biweekly trying in to get in contact with the title department. No one ever answered the phone or responded to the messages I left. It wasn't until less than a week before the second set of temp tags were expired (and after asking to speak to the GM several times) that I was finally contacted by the title department, and was told they needed a correction for my name. I submitted the documents needed to reflect my married name, and finally, four and a half months after buying my car, I got my title. read more

Last week purchased a pre-owned and one thing is evident, Groove Toyota has terrible customer experience if you're in the market for a used car. Tires were old, they didn't gas up the vehicle (turned it over empty) and so far have complete misrepresented the extended warranty I purchased. Also just got the alert an oil change is due. A few days ago called Groove Toyota with some questions pertaining to Tundra Trims (1794 and Platinum Editions) and Toyota Financing. Spoke to Matt T. and was very appreciative of his care for my questions and genuine responses. Scheduled an appointment for today with him at 10am. We arrived 30 minutes early excited to see options. Matt and a new Sales Associate, David greeted us within just a minute of checking in. Matt had pre-staged two vehicles prior to our arrival. He did let us know that he had inadvertently double booked appointments and asked if it would be ok to for us to work with Grant, as Matt's other appointment was scheduled before I had even called. Of course we were fine with it. Grant took over and we test drove the vehicle we preferred most. Grant made us legitimately feel as the most important people at the dealership. Though the world does not revolve around us, his treatment of us was warm, sincere, and made us feel special. That kind of treatment is First Class! One of the points I had discussed with both Matt and Grant was our desire for a quick transaction from start to finish. They, plus the F&I Manager (I did not catch her name BUT she is highly intelligent and very knowledgeable at what she does) delivered big time! From the time we arrived until the time we departed with our new Lunar Rock 2025 Toyota Tundra 1794 Edition was exactly 2 hours and 8 minutes!!! Wrap your head around that for a second.
