This review is regarding the service department, not sales. I arrived at the time of my appointment and was waiting to be checked in. Jack walked up and passed by me without acknowledging me. He proceeded to check in the woman that arrived after me, whose car was parked behind mine. He then came back to check me in with the words, "age before beauty." While I can consider appreciating his thought process, the woman after me was not frail by any means, and if he felt the need to check her in first, acknowledging me respectfully and letting me know his agenda would have been appreciated. Commenting on my looks, whether an old time saying or not, made me uncomfortable. He continued to address me as "girl" multiple times, and lacked the ability to know how to respectfully talk to a woman that came for a service. I brought this up to the manager, who remained quite stoic and reduced the sexism and inappropriate talk that I experienced, to "unprofessional." I have oil changes as part of the package with my new vehicle, however, I no longer feel comfortable utilizing this service department. It's time to do better in car dealerships and servicing centers in knowing how to be respectful, and taking accountability when disrespect happens. I hope the men involved in this situation do take GENUINE accountability and make an attempt to make it right. read more

I have absolutely nothing positive to say about the service department at Courtesy Acura--aside from the fact that Vanessa, Chris, and, before he left, Connor were all decent enough to acknowledge and take responsibility for the endless mistakes made by their so-called "certified" technicians. I've owned several Acura's but switched to Lexus long ago because their cars are built better, and their service is miles ahead of anything I've ever experienced here. Lexus may cost more, but it's worth every penny, and with every frustrating visit to Courtesy Acura, I find myself appreciating Lexus even more. Since my daughter refused to switch to Lexus, I've been stuck dealing with this abysmal dealership every time her car needs service, and it's a nightmare every time. I've never had a service department screw up a car the way they do at Courtesy Acura. Let me make it clear: this is the last Acura we will ever own. Every time I bring my daughter's car in for routine maintenance--rotating & balancing tires, replacing brake pads, etc.--it turns into a disaster. They somehow always find a way to mess it up. I've had to return twice or three times just to get them to do simple tasks correctly. These aren't complicated repairs! And every time I go back, I'm bombarded with texts & emails asking me to leave a glowing review about how "wonderful" they are. They've been lucky I haven't left an honest review until now. Actually, I tried once through the link they provided, but surprise--my review never got posted. If you leave a negative review through the link they provide from Reputation.com, there's a high chance it won't get published. That's why the reviews you see are artificially inflated due to actively censoring any negative feedback. Reputation.com pushes for favorable reviews, but if you've had bad experiences like we have, they use this service to filter out negative feedback. I'm not using their review link this time. This is my unfiltered opinion. I can't possibly be the only one who's had this experience. These issues happen every time I bring the car in. Not once have I ever gotten my car back with the problem fixed. Not once. They've broken things they shouldn't have even touched. Once, when I picked up the car, the driver-side door handle assembly was sitting on the floor mat, and the car was squealing every time I turned left. They've left things disassembled, based service recommendations on someone else's car entirely, and sent me repair photos and performed repairs on our car based off issues from a completely different vehicle. Once, when I picked up my car after it had been worked on, the technician named Jay broke the cell phone holder while taking the car for a test drive--essentially a joyride. I picked up the car once and found puddles of water in the rear floor mats--either because they left the car out in the rain with the sunroof cracked or ran it through a car wash that way. Unbelievable. But they would always tell me the technician and service manager "test drove" the car and everything was perfect--only for me to have to return it because the problem was worse than before I dropped it off. Every. Single. Time. To top it off, Acura discontinued support for the AcuraLink services built into the vehicle, offering no explanation other than they're using new chips and won't support the older ones in a six-year-old car. This was one of the reasons we bought this vehicle, and now they won't even replace the outdated chips with their newer technology. It's utterly nonsensical. I'm done with this dealership, and I'm done with this brand. Honestly, I have no idea how anyone has the patience or time to tolerate such sheer incompetence. It's mind-boggling. I've held off on leaving a bad review because, eventually, they'd "make it right"--sometimes, even if I had to take the car elsewhere to get it done properly--but enough is enough. Wow! What a journey it has been to get here. It took so many years, but we are pretty darn happy with our latest service here. It was a huge dent in the $ department but so far so good! Jack is super wonderful and forthright. He does a nice job explaining things as well as backing up what he says with details, including pictures to help "tell the story" of your car. Our list of things to get done was pretty long (and got longer as they looked again), but he helped us navigate through it by first focusing on the critical items. We have much more to go, but look forward to continuing the journey, hopefully with Courtesy and Jack. He is pretty trustworthy, helpful and just overall great. read more

I absolutely do no recommend this dealership. I purchased a car out of state without the ability to view it. They provided the inspection report. The car was not perfect, they disclosed certain issues, which I was fine with. One of the issues was the car not blowing cold are and "needing freon." This is one that they said they would fix. When I the car was delivered 1000 miles away, it turned out that they did not fix the one issue they said they would. They said the car needed freon, but the actual issue was a compressor that was not turning on. Whoever the mechanic was, misdiognosed the issue (or tried to hide the real issue during sale?) This is a $2500 repair. I tried to work with the manager (James Ayres) but they are going with the story of the mechanic that "the car was blowing cold air" when the fault in the comptuer clearly states that the compressor was not working when they had the car in their posession and cold air can not possibly blow without the compressor being faulty. I do not mind buying a car with known issues, but part of the deal is making sure that fixes occur that are promised, which in this case it did not happen. read more

The service department at this location continues to lower the bar for expectation. Scheduled an appointment 2 weeks ago for today at 9am. 4 hours later, after not hearing any updates, I called and was told they would have a tech begin looking at the car in another 45 minutes to an hour. No notice of delay or mention when dropping off or between then and now. Only writing this as it isn't the first time we have had issues with services here. Would never buy another car from this location, even though our salesman was the best we have ever worked with for a car purchase. read more

I had a terrible experience at Courtesy Acura. Courtesy Acura tried to charge me over $4,000 for a repair that wasn't even necessary. They told me my 2019 Acura RDX had a shifted subframe and structural damage, but after paying $150 for their inspection, I got a second opinion at Fisher Acura where they confirmed that no damage existed and the car was perfectly safe to drive. Courtesy Acura was trying to sell me a major repair based only on a visual guess, without proper diagnostics. This is extremely concerning for any consumer. When I followed up, their Service Manager, Chris Zimmerman, ignored my first email, only gave vague answers later, and never apologized. I lost time, money, and missed work because of their carelessness. Be very cautious, I would not trust Courtesy Acura with your vehicle. read more

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER. I bought a used car a few weeks ago. When I received a postcard regarding registration, I learned that I needed an emissions test. The car did not pass. I called the Courtesy Acura service department, and they sent me to the auto maker. It turns out that the car had been tuned. It cannot be detuned, so the OCM must be replaced. I reached out to Acura. The sales manager said it's not their problem, since five days had already passed. Per the DMV, "At the time of sale the seller is required to provide the buyer with a passing emissions test that has not been used previously to register a vehicle or renew a vehicle registration. Colorado dealers are required to provide a passing emissions test or a voucher good for one emissions test at the time of sale." They did neither. read more

I bought a car from them 4/20. I walked away thinking I was happy until I took the car in 2 weeks later for them to fix the seat that they promised to do at the time of sale. The timing belt needed to be replaced which they said "wasn't due" even though it had been over 7 years since it had been replaced last and only 3,000 miles away from 100,000 miles - they would not cover it because they stood by the fact that it wasn't due. When they were replacing the timing belt - they texted me saying that there was $2000 other items that came up that needed to be fixed ASAP !!! The service person admitted that these items had come up needing to be fixed prior to the sale of the car but that the Sales Manager declined fixing them. After the service person fought for me, they did fix these other items that came but I still had to pay for the timing belt that should have been covered by them. It did say on the paper work from Acura "timing belt should be replaced every 7 years or 100K miles - WHICH EVER COMES FIRST!" so they sold me a car that needed a timing belt and was way over priced what it was worth. Then when I went to get my plates, I had to pay a late fee at the DMV because I got the title card late from the dealership and they also had not done the emissions which was supposed to be done prior to the sale. It just seems like one disappointment after another with this dealership. I would steer clear of them as they do not seem honest. You'd probably be better off buying a car from one of the small lots off Broadway and pay way less for a vehicle that actually doesn't have issues before even driving it off the lot. read more

I live in Monument and so Pikes Peak Acura where I unfortunately made the mistake of purchasing my 2022 MDX from makes it as impossible as they can to just service your first oil change ! Even so much that the Service Manager at Pikes Peak Acura told me it "might"Be easier to just get it done at Courtsey... the good news is he was right ! I called Courtsey Acura and Michael answered on the 1st ring set my wife up with an apt that day! - And to top of all off when she showed up the General Manager Brock Elison was in the service drive greeting his customers- helping out with any accommodations- loaners - soda - coffee- water... that's UNREAL! When you spend $70k on a vehicle I can't say I expected that level of service Brock and Michael gave !!!!! - but i did expect a heck of a lot better than the service manager at Pikes Peak Acura telling me no way he could get me in - no way to help with a loaner and I should just go some where else ! Felt very unprofessional & disrespectful. Talked to somebody extensively about a specific car. Get there & they take 10 minutes to fill paperwork out so I can test drive it. While they're writing things & making photocopies of my ID & insurance, they tell me somebody just bought the car online. Ask if there's anything else they could do for me, I say no & leave. We have been extremely pleased with our new car purchases from Courtesy Acura as we have purchased 3 MDX's starting back in 200l. Recently we purchased a nice used Jeep Wrangler off their used vehicle lot. We were told they had a mechanic who was very knowledgeable about other brands. A 90 day warranty was included with the purchase. Serval days after taking possession of the vehicle we noticed one of the headlights was pointing toward the moon. When we took it back to Courtesy they said "take it to Jeep dealership" . It took us 5 minutes and an allen wrench to reattach the adjustment screw and correct the problem ourselves. Over the next 2 weeks the vehicle was dead if left for more than one day. When we went back to Courtesy, they said to take it to Jeep. Jeep wanted $500 to do a diagnostic. We had the battery tested and it was bad. The battery in the vehicle was less then 1 year old but went bad. We took an extended ride in the vehicle and the drivers side sun visor fell off. The warranty was 3rd party and only covered drive train. So $350 battery and $280 visor repair was our cost for buying an off brand vehicle from a dealership we trusted. We paid $5000-$7000 more than we could have from a private party. We did that because we wanted the assurance of dealership protection. Live and learn! read more

I am extremely disappointed in this dealership. I have bought MULTIPLE cars from them and have never had an issue. This last car deal however has been nothing short of a disaster. I received an email from them at the end of Summer 2019 that I could turn my car in early on the lease.y husband and I went in, after making an appt with our sales guy. Apparently he had a more important client because he said to come back later. We came back later, we then waited for two hours for him to finish. We ended up being at the dealership for over seven hours from start to finish. Strike one. The car was great. About 45 days later I realized we didn't receive any payment information. I called Acura to make a payment on the account since we never received anything in the mail and didn't want a 30 day late hit on our credit. I called the dealership to find out what was going on. They "forgot" to send in the paperwork to Acura financial and the dealership stated we needed to make another payment since it was due... thank goodness I had bank records to show that the payment had already been made. Strike two. Fast forward to today. We received a letter in the mail stating our account was in default because the lease had ended and we hadn't turned to car in or gotten a hold of the dealership since the lease had matured. Mind you- we turned the car in LAST AUGUST. Called Acura and they stated that the dealership never sent in the paperwork stating that the car was turned in and the final mileage. Since they hadn't received anything they were planning on credit hits within the month since they hadn't heard anything from the dealership or from us. So MY CREDIT would be affected since the dealership didn't do their due diligence with the paperwork!!! They are unable to get a hold of the dealership to fix this because of Covid-19 closures. This is on hold until they open. STRIKE THREE! I don't know who reads the reviews while you are closed. But this needs to be fixed. Immediately. I have never had such a terrible car deal. This is ridiculous. I'm not going to allow MY credit to be affected because of your piss poor management. read more

I believe I was scammed by the service department. I brought in my 2016 RDX because the steering light came on. They told me it was a defective battery that I had bought in July (only 2 months old). After they sold me on replacing it with one of their new factory batteries, I attempted to return the "defective" battery and was told by both O'reilly's AND my regular mechanic that the "defective" battery was still in good condition. My regular mechanic was able to find that there were some internal codes that had not been reset when the old battery was placed, which is why my steering light had come on. (My regular mechanic was able to figure this out without charging me a penny, by the way). So, I'm out $200 because even when I called Acura service department to explain all of this to them, they swear that the old battery is defective and "just leave it outside, it's like a soda can and it will test bad". Excuse me, what? It's clear that they are not interested in finding out if they made a mistake and they're ready to provide any excuse to defend their "service." I'm disappointed because we all pay a premium when taking a car to a dealership for service. I hope this review encourages them to do better for future customers. read more

While I was sitting in the waiting room on my car for an oil change and I had my mask on (and everyone else in the waiting room had their masks on also). I overheard an older gentleman/employee that was bitching up a storm about the mask mandate to other employees (who also had their masks around their chins) and the older gentlemen was going off on how it is the government is controlling all of us by making people wear masks and we have to wear masks to at least the beginning of the year. He said we live in a socialist government and they keep controlling us in the USA and he went on and on. Then all of the employees discussing it in the office of the service area. While the older gentlemen (sitting on the west side of the row of desks) he didn't have his mask on the entire time that I was waiting for my car (about a hour and fifteen minutes total). I will not be coming back here ever since they allow their employees not to wear masks during a mask mandate and clearly don't care about others including their customers while all breathing the same air. While this older gentleman had a cough. It's about perception and caring for others around you and clearly their employees don't. I honestly would have expected more from a higher end car company. What a disappointment after coming here for years and years. read more

I think my elderly mother just got scammed by the service department. She has a 7year old Acura that mostly sits in the garage, doesn't even have 30,000 miles on it (it's done a few highway trips but is mostly in the garage) and she went in for a 30k service and they charged her $1400 for a timing belt package (timing belt plus a bunch of other new stuff) based on age (not wear or mileage). Most of the Acura recommendations online suggest replacement of the timing belt 60-90k miles;for her model it's 60k. She's an elderly disabled pensioner on a fixed income, I feel like they took advantage of her. Take your business elsewhere folks, we certainly will. read more

I have my 2014 Acura MDX service here for about two years now. My car is running great, no issues at all! I booked all my appointments online. They were always on time with the appointments. The service advisors listened to what needed done and didn't try to sell services I didn't need. The only complaint I have is their add-on car wash / detailing service. It was subpar. I had to wipe the dashboard afterwards. If I want this service done, I would take it to an independent details shop. read more

On June 12th I bought my car (2019 Acura RDX) in for a regular oil change when I was told that there was a fuel pump recall where the car could lose all acceleration while driving. I gave the go ahead to replace the fuel pump as I was driving for a long trip the next week. On June 20th I was driving down highway i70 about 100 miles outside of St Louis when my car lost all acceleration and the panel lit up like a Christmas tree giving me transmission, steering, battery etc errors. I was lucky to be able to get my car to the side of the highway without an accident. My car wouldn't restart, wouldn't move out of gear, etc so I had to have it towed the last part of the trip to a dealership in Manchester, MO. This left me stranded for two days in Missouri where i had to come out of pocket for a bunch of expenses. When the dealership took a look they said it wasn't the replaced fuel pump but the mmwave radar for cruise control had a fault and it can apparently just kill your car completely while you are driving it. Why there hasn't been a recall I'm not sure. So this dealership cleared all the codes, replaced my battery and just told me to drive it back without using cruise control and get the radar replaced in CO. They and I had notified Courtesy of the issue and what needed to be done. On June 30th 8:30 am I brought my car in to be serviced and have everything checked out as well as the part replaced. They told me they should be able to knock it out quickly. They gave me a loaner car which already had a service light on but since I didn't think I'd be driving it long so I didn't see an issue. Well the first day went by without a call or update. I called and left a message and when they got back to me they were confused as they didn't think it was the radar that was the issue. Then I guess it was the radar and the ordered the wrong part so had to wait for that part. Well that part came yesterday July 2nd and they still didn't fix my car and didn't make it a priority to do so today. I had to go pick up my car without any fix because I have a trip coming up where I need to drive a bit and didn't want to have something go wrong with the loaner as the service light was already on. I didn't want to get blamed for "damaging" their loaner. So they had my car for three days, didn't prioritize getting it fixed and when I asked why it wasn't fixed this morning (July 3rd) the answer was they just hadn't gotten to it. So this dealership sold me a car with an extremely dangerous defect that can cause an accident and can't be bothered to fix it. I'd say buyer beware here around Acura and especially this dealership. read more

Courtesy Acura was one of the best auto dealerships I have experienced since moving to Colorado. Often times my husband and I are over looked because we "look young" or because we are minorities but either way Courtesy Acura made us feel valued even though we did not go home with a new car because we are still weighing out all of our options. Gizette approached us unagressively and simply offered us to some tea or coffee. That in it self was very good customer service. Being a daughter of an experienced car salesman I am fully aware of the strategies of some older "more experienced" car salesman. She offered us the keys to test drive and before the drive she was very thorough with explaining all the glitz and glamor of the vehicle which we appreciated. During the drive she was very conversational and friendly. After the test drive she quickly had Sean five our current vehicle a trade in appraisal- which was also fast and friendly. Although we haven't decided on a new vehicle yet the overall experience spoke for itself and I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone who was interested in an Acura. Don't buy from here. Sold me a lemon when I purchased a used Acura a few years back. Car has been nothing but problems. The computer inside the car is so messed up that different warning lights (ABS, Check engine, etc) come on for no reason, often somehow forcing the A/C to stop working during the summer. I have to keep taking it to the mechanic for one problem after another. read more

I think I'll come here next time my Wifi goes out because they have very comfortable sofas, great coffee, clean restrooms, and friendly staff. You aren't passed around to multiple sales people. You have your salesman, and the finance team. They don't try to push products on you, have a 3k mile power train warranty, offer 2 oil changes and two tore rotations as well. I would surely recommend this dealer to anyone. Don, John, and Jeremiah were the three men I spoke with there, they were all knowledgeable and very generous. The rest of the team seemed to sail just as smoothly. Updated to say: car was purchased, in and out quicker than I have ever experienced. Complimentary Starbucks coffee for me & water for the kids. Courtesy Acura really helped my family out in a difficult situation. We were moving cross-country from California to Philadelphia with our newborn when our back door stopped unlocking. It made it very difficult to get the car seat out of the vehicle. I knew it was a door lock actuator. Normally I would fix it myself, but I didn't have my tools with me. We had to get it fixed ASAP before continuing on our journey. I am glad we ended up fortuitously taking our vehicle to Courtesy Acura. They gave me an incredible price that beat out other quotes and were just above and beyond in the customer service department. We had an Uber provided all the way back to our hotel downtown. They even helped me out after my mistake of routing to the wrong dealership. Overall, I was very impressed with the service provided. We bought our first MDX in 2012 and had all of our services done there for four years. During that time we did not have one problem and the service was great in all departments. When the 2017 MDXs were just coming onto the lots, my wife was ready to upgrade and the sales people we worked with searched high and low for the one we wanted and got it to their lot. Even though they were in the middle of the renovation, that got us in and out pretty quickly with the paper work. Again we had great service. Over the past year, we've had issues with the service department that required multiple visits. It's more with the techs that actually work on the cars that forget to put our wheel locks when we first got it. While a seatbelt buckle was getting fixed, the tech scratched the panel that required another visit to fix. When we paid for the clear door guards, they forgot to do a door. The latest issue is when we brought the car in for normal service and got the tires rotated, they lost the wheel lock. Today we were getting a rim replaced at a local tire shop since the dealership is 30 miles from us and spent 45 min looking through the car for it. Paige got us in this afternoon and got new wheel locks installed while swapping out the new rim but we had to go out of our way to get the issue fixed. Our service rep Paige has been great and has made sure that all of our issues have been taken care of and making sure we have a loaner. She has been stellar. It's the fact that we've had to make multiple trips back that could have been avoided if the service techs were more carful and paid better attention to what they were doing. I don't know if over the past year they lost some of the good techs but it's been a change for the worse compared to the previous 4 years. I would give the sales and service reps 5 stars but with the issue with the techs, I'm dropping it to a three. If things improve on the tech front I'll update my rating to something higher but for now, it's three stars. read more
