During the holiday season they are known for their ornaments which they dangle from the ceiling. I've bought several items, including furniture, from the Red Tree and I love it all. Prices can be a bit of a splurge but the unique vibe makes up for it. Always friendly service. Find them primarily at the front counter downstairs. Street parking is available and most without meters.

My first and only complaint about the place was that it was hard for me to find. It sits on the corner with a couple of other buildings and it's a very busy area and their signage was not clear to me so I passed it a couple of times before realizing exactly where it was. It wasn't immediately apparent that there was parking in the back either. Once we figured that out, it's all good from there. Magnolia & Fig provides a light and pleasant space to shop for clothing, accessories, and other knickknacks. We were greeted warmly by the attendant, and she gives us the option to browse or asked us if we were looking for something specific. Once we told her what my friend was looking for and her size, the attendant got right to work, pulling dresses for her to try from the racks. We were brought eight or 10 different dresses to try in a small but nicely decorated fitting area. The two employees worked together to bring us outfits to try, giving us space and time to try each one, but giving opinions and thoughts, when asked to. They were very kind patient and efficient. They were sensitive to the needs of my friend as related to her disability without talking down to her or making her feel out of place. It was a very positive experience and we found the perfect dress for my friend's event. In the store, you will find lots of ladies clothing options in addition to some jewelry, hats, shoes and even pretty things for the home. I think my friend paid about $150 for the gorgeous dress and the earrings that she purchased. We would both recommend Magnolia & Fig for a fun boutique experience and a nice selection of clothing to choose from.

Fleur de Flea is as much of an experience as it is a shopping spot. There are several midcentury modern furniture booths, as well as others selling all manner of art, jewelry, books, clothes, records, plants and more. On my most recent visit, I came away with a book of the script of a show I really love and a fun T-shirt. Fleur de Flea also sells cocktails and other drinks if you'd like to sip while you shop, and it's very pet friendly. You're likely to see a pup shopping alongside its owner, and Fleur de Flea's resident doggo can be found sitting on the counter by the cash registers. This is a spot that is becoming uniquely Louisville for me. I love it so!

Shout out to Moss Hill for the Sunshine lotion and Southern Sunshine soap. There is such a wide array of items from aesthetic cooking utensils, unique cards, local gourmet foods, rugs, boutiquey dresses, fascinators, colorful socks, toys, etc. This will be a stop for me around the holidays from now on for family gifts. You can buy shoes, clothes, cards, etc. They have a few pieces of an item and the girl at the counter told me that sometimes an item will sell out in 3 days or 6 months! Turnover of items really just depends. I love this store and I think a lot of people shop here. There are always handfuls of customers in here. The customer service is also fantastic! I got me some white snakeskin boots! They were a phenomenal price. They are usually very expensive. I'm sure I'll be back!
