One of the guides was struggling with the horse he was on. It was doing circles while he was on the highway waiting for others to cross. Once everyone had crossed and he was on the dirt, he proceeded to hit his horse several times in the neck, which appeared to be with a lot of force. We were appalled and this type of abuse to this horse should never happen. I suggest you terminate this employee or take any necessary action. What we witnessed was awful and I hope this isn't typical of the way your Ranch treats these beautiful animals.

Throughout the ride, the guides will share fun insights about the horses themselves, the local wildlife and plants, the ranch itself and of course the Grand Tetons. They welcome all skill levels - even total beginners like me. The guides take the time to teach you how to direct and handle your horse, and the horses are very well-behaved. They also keep the group small, which makes the experience feel much more personal. You'll see stunning views of the Hoback area, the Snake River Canyon, and the Teton Range.
