Seven people ahead of me were waiting to see the Dr for 2 hours. After 1 hour and 15 mins, I walked out.

This place is great with workers who truly care! I usually don't like to review places like this…read more.. I honestly think saying you went to a place like a hospital it should be private or privileged info. But I admit I had to go here due to an old injury. I went in and there were many seats (spaced out for ppl who are afraid of being too close to one another) and sat down near the spot where you kind of "check-in"... There is a place where you instantly put all of your info and after you answer the other important questions, you get to sit and wait. I'd say about every 5 minutes a person gets called to be evaluated before they see a doctor. This seems like not a very involved place until you go from the desk to see a person who will help you. I had a kind person yesterday where it turned out they couldn't help me but let me know of a hospital that had the x-ray type scanning that I needed. I felt they were very kind to me. I will not forget that! If you think going to an e. r. is the best place to go then that might work. If you know somebody that knows what you need is an office or place like this then go here! Patient First makes you their priority. They have compassion and care and are willing to help. For regular medical problems go to Patient First!

Very unfortunate because the support staff, office, lab workers are excellent! The doctor who saw…read moreus was absolutely the worst medical professional we have ever encountered in our 70 some years. We both had gripping pains, diarrhea, felt sick. My husband started over a week ago. I started 4 days previous. Concerned about lettuce born pathogens, C diff in elderly, we finally went to Urgent Care. Instead of stool samples- they run up the Medicare bill with blood, urine.. ok.. A double masked rather large woman comes in. Hard to hear her thru the masks. Started telling my husband he needs CT for diverticulitis. He declines. I said we have the same symptoms. She tells me to be quiet. Says antibiotics could kill him. He says he will die. He takes antibiotics all the time. She finally gives him Flagyl. He signs against medical advice for CT & antibiotic. My turn. She says. She is not giving me anything. She doesn't like me. Because, behind the curtain, she must have heard me say, "Where the hell did she go to school?" She says, I am having heart problems. Need to go to ER for Echo right away. Need EKG. I say, no shortness of breath, can go up & down steps without problems, no symptoms? I decline both & sign her papers. It was a total waste of time for me. This woman is why Medicare is going bankrupt!

I don't know how to feel about this office. There are some people there who go above and beyond to…read morehelp find appointments and make sure that you can get seen by a doctor, even if you're as annoying of a patient as I am. That being said, I don't know how I feel about how worn out the doctors may be. I love my doctor and I've had him for 13 years. He was a part of the Crozer system Which obviously got shut down very quickly and then he came to Mainline Health. A lot of of us had trouble getting our records back from the company that bankrupted Crozer although it seemed that they maintained some of my records, at least for medications, because someone read them out to me on the phone once and I know they weren't guessing because there were so many. Because I have complicated health problems and cannot always make it in when I want to, I got told that the next appointment that was available with my doctor - because I was a new patient (which is vaguely disconcerting) - was not until 2028. At the time by law, this doctor was supposed to be talking to me every six weeks. I don't see how the bottom can hold in a situation like that, but it was pleasant enough when I went there. I'm hoping that they take a bit off the of the doctors. I don't know if they have quotas or not, but it seems like if you can't get in to see a doctor for two years that that is an administrative problem. That being said like I said earlier, the people that work there I've had nothing but good conversations with and they have been nothing but patient with me and I'm just kind of waiting to see how it plays out. Their portal is probably the most frustrating thing I have ever dealt with besides trying to get through a human being from a customer service prospective or getting a pinky on the fourth fret when you have 13-year-old girl hands and are learning to play guitar. I haven't been to anybody but my primary care physician yet but I do have to see a few specialist and get an MRI so this review is subject to change based on those experiences.

This was the best experience I've ever had at a primary care physician's office. I'm a new patient…read moreat DMHC Medical Pavilion. I chose Dr. Toni Muzzonigro as my PCP and drove from Philadelphia, because I've had a terrible time finding PCPs in my area I trust and who even seem to care. The front desk staff was so helpful when I called for the first time, with brand-new health insurance and a lack of understanding of how it worked. They scheduled me within a week and a half of calling (I had nothing urgent). They were considerate and professional upon my arrival today. One helped me over the phone to find the place when I'd made a wrong turn (I'm not from the area). My wait-time to be called back to the exam room was about a minute. I met a medical assistant named Dana (I hope I'm spelling her name correctly) who was warm, put me at ease, and repeatedly asked if I had any questions and assured me I could contact her or the doctor at any time after my visit. I waited then for Dr. Muzzonigro for about a minute. She was warm and had incredible bedside manner. She did not rush me or chide me for all of my natural approaches to healthcare as most of my former doctors have. She'd say "Sweet" when I told her herbal or alternative remedies I'd tried. She admitted they're not her specialty but, unlike every other PCP I've had, did not frown on them or shame me for using them. Frankly I was shocked. And she really listened! She did not rush me. When I told her about my weight concerns, she told me I was beautiful and looked great. She spoke of society brainwashing women about what our bodies should look like--all of which I know, but it felt wonderful hearing it from her. She explained why perhaps one medication might be better for me than another. She asked a lot of questions. She ordered blood work to check for vitamin deficiencies (how many PCPs do that?). Dana drew my blood. She was perfect at it. I felt a pinch and nothing more, and there is no bruise or marks other than a tiny red dot. I think this was the first time I left my PCP's office with a skip in my step and feeling happier than when I'd gone in. I'm thrilled I've found this place. We need more doctors like Dr. Muzzonigro and more medical staff like Dana and the receptionists and front desk staff at DHMC Health Pavilion.

In the last 4 years it's going downhill some of the staff are on point but the reception is mostly are not trying to get anything done is nearly impossible due to the fact that they're either untrained or unwilling to provide the services in which are insurance companies pay for. Incredibly ignorant on the phone very short with people I speak not only for myself but two others that I know that are having major problems with this practice. Getting medication on time near impossible for about 1/3 of the time it's taking me 11 days to get a heart medication refilled from them from their practice that doesn't seem reasonable. You will almost never get a call back 7 years I've gotten probably three callbacks and I probably left 20 messages. I am currently looking for another doctor practice to go to due to the lack of respect that I feel coming out of this practice and that's mostly on the front door staff receptionist
