He also was having increasing trouble staying in kennels, so we had Pack Leader do some overnight services for him as well. I was sooo lucky to have found Candace. She literally opens her home to the dogs in her care. Dogs spend their time at her lovely house and are allowed to come in and out throughout the day. There were a few other dogs staying with Candace at the same time as my dog, and these guys were so sweet and playful. (Candace does a wonderful job screening her clients to make sure everyone is safe, happy, and comfortable.) Leaving your dogs in her care is like leaving your dogs with a family member. My dogs instantly trusted her, and so did I. I was able to enjoy my vacation without worrying about my pets. She even sent me photos to help put my mind at ease. Candace is the BEST, and I highly recommend her to all dog owners who do not want to board their loved ones in kennels.

But when the dogs were collected last week, following a 6-day stay, their beds, their blankets and the dogs themselves were soaked in urine. I should mention that one of our dogs is older and can have accidents. But the younger dog can go for a day without peeing, so HER soaked bed was much more telling. My daughter assured them she would NOT be bringing them back to board. To add insult to injury, despite a very late drop-off (after 5) and an early pick-up, they tagged on two full days of boarding to our bill. One star is too good for my review here.

Allpet Pet Sitting looked promising and I am more than happy with the decision to give Suzanne a chance. She shows up on time, has been more than accommodating to both me and my dog and our health needs, but she also picked up extra shifts at the last minute and went above and beyond (bringing in the mail, etc). I was concerned that our dog might give them difficulty as he can be aloof with strangers, but he LOVED the sitter and she was great with him. Our cats loved her as well! KT's went above and beyond with photo updates of our pets. We came home to a happy, healthy crew. I will absolutely be using KT's again for our petsitting needs and would not hesitate to reach out to them for other services as well.
