I really appreciate this deli for going above and beyond for me during a difficult time while I was in the hospital. They were kind enough to help with a special favor, and that level of care meant a lot more than I can say. My daughter also had a turkey sandwich from them, and she said it was the best she's had in a long time fresh, well-made, and really flavorful. Overall, the experience was very good, and I'm grateful for their kindness and quality food. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is just to leave a little room for growth, but I would absolutely return and recommend them. read more

Groucho's is a small sandwich shop that provides a nice experience. They have a variety of sandwiches and are priced fairly. I came on a weekday for lunch. The place was half-full, but it was later in the lunch hour. My server was a nice young lady who greeted me quickly. She got me a soda and took my order, the Reuben. It was delivered quickly. The meat was very tasty, and the sauerkraut and dressing offered nice counterpoints. Honestly, it felt a little small, but that's how many places are controlling price, so I get it. Was in the area and stopped for lunch. Really solid sandwich for a fair price. Got the STP dipper and got it with provolone instead of Swiss. Normally not a fan of Russian dressing but the formula 45 sauce was very good. Like that they give it to you on the side, and also give you a large amount of it. This place never disappoints! Groucho's Deli in Rock Hill, SC is my go to lunch place! They have the absolute best salads. My favorites are the "Bacon Cheddar Salad" and their famous "My Wife's Salad Bowl" (which is the ultimate salad experience)! Took the family here after seeing all the great reviews but unfortunately we were very disappointed. We must not have ordered the right stuff. Every sandwich we got was extremely dry as there was no sauce, not even mayonnaise, on any of them. Then when I asked to try their famous sauce, it would be an extra charge. Ok, that's fine, but if you're gonna charge for your side sauces, at least include Mayo on the sandwiches. And the bun for the hot dog for our 4 year old was very tough. First time ordering here and I am very disappointed. I received no cutlery to eat my salad with. I ordered Italian dressing and it is nothing but oil with a little bit of pepper in the bottom. I am not sure how they expect people to eat without silverware (common sense people) not everyone is at home. And please, if all you can afford is one small package of crackers with your salad you should probably leave them off as you look cheap. What possibly is 1 package of crackers going to do for anybody??? So sad. I had great expectations for this place. read more

Excited to try the new grochos location since added more tables. Waited over 15 minutes and no one would take our order even after asking if needing to order in line now vs order at the station. The line for people to pay was at least 10 people and not moving. We finally left when we waited another 5 min and still no drink order. Without a doubt my favorite Deli shop in the Rock Hill and surrounding areas. Service, food quality and value are tip top here. I absolutely love the STP Dipper and Apollo Dipper. The bread and quality of meats are just the absolute best. Their 45 Sauce is great, but it's their Danish Blue Cheese Sauce that makes me weak in the knees.
