The staff are this coffee shop ate some of the friendliest people I've ever met! They are so patient and helpful. I've passed this place a million times and finally tried it today. They have so many flavors and espresso options. I tried the gingerbread syrup in an iced whole milk espresso. It was really good. This place is so relaxing and has so many seating options to enjoy your coffee and get some work done. Love coffee shops like this!

Very sweet coffee. I was disappointed with my honey vanilla iced latte. For the price, it was way too sweet, and they ran out of whole milk. I couldn't finish it. The nitro cold brew was good. It had good flavor. The Italian soda was also pretty good. It was on the sweet side though. Overall, I will not return. The drinks were way too sweet. The coffee overall was good, it was not acidic. But the level of sweetness is Vietnamese coffee sweet. Not my cup of coffee.

Service is really friendly and inside is actually really cool, The vibe is relaxing and I could totally see myself doing homework here at some point. The coffee was great not too sweet, The avocado is just fine It was kind of plain I wish it came salted or maybe with everything seasoning for the price, so I'll try something else next time. I love that they were advertising a new indie bookshop that kind of local representation really stands out.

Grouchy John's Coffee serves up more than coffee. They offer an assortment of breakfast sandwiches, breakfast tacos, parfaits, pastries and bagels. We tried the sausage breakfast tacos (premade), bacon breakfast sandwich (made to order), a vanilla latte and drip coffee. The tacos were better than the breakfast sandwich -- bacon on the sandwich wasn't very crispy. Would definitely get the tacos again though. Vanilla latte was pretty good but the drip coffee was just below average IMO. The inside is a bit small, but cozy with a variety of seating options. Beware that in the morning hours the sun shines in quite bright.

We were in the area running errands and noticed that Grouchy John's Coffee was nearby. It's been on our radar and so glad there's a location close to home. Items tried and liked (so far): Butter Beer (regular & decaf) Wampa Cold (decaf) O.G. Cold (regular) Caramel Macchiato (decaf) Everything was delicious with no bitter aftertaste taste. They also have decaf which I appreciate :) From what we could see on the menu, decaf isn't listed but if you ask for it, they have it. Service was excellent. Ordered online and our drinks were ready at the time given. Interior is cute and cozy. Parking is plentiful. Highly recommend. I hope you decide to check them out :)

My favorite coffee shop in the Vegas area. I always get the PBM iced. It's just one of those drinks you can't find anywhere else. Staff is friendly and the coffee shop is pretty large with plenty of seating. I also love the fact that you get a discount for being a first responder.

The customer service was great! Matt was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the avocado toast which was Ok , I truly enjoy their price points although I was told they will be increasing . It's a great place to meet up with friends .

Came here and absolutely loved it! The service is great, the baristas are extremely kind, honest, and attentive. They were giving great suggestions for lattes I'd like and telling me which ones I probably should stay away from. I appreciated their openness and their suggestion was truly great. I ended up getting the almond Rocha mocha and it was great! It tasted like a Ferraro rocher :)

We love this funky coffee shop prior to traveling back! The baristas are always so nice and welcoming. It has a very artsy, funny vibe. They are very consistent with their drinks, I love the lattes here. Their baked goods are good as well. I recommend!

They have some house made syrups. Great coffee and pastries. Great place to hang or do some work.

This place was unique and I had a expectation to have more vibrancy. The barista was nice and explain all the drinks are sweet and I did get grouchy John. It didn't taste good especially because it had an after taste that didn't sit well.

A friend recommended we stop here for breakfast or lunch on our way to Zion, Utah. We always make a…read morestop in Vegas to stock up on groceries and grab brunch before heading to Zion for camping. The food here is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious - but they really need to step up their dishwashing and make sure the food is served hot. There's nothing worse than ordering coffee and seeing purple lipstick on the rim of your cup. It makes you want to leave right away. Then comes the inner debate - do you say something and risk being that customer, or just wipe it off and move on? On top of that, getting food that's supposed to be hot but arrives cold is frustrating. You sit there wishing you were at home where you could just microwave it - because the food is that good and would taste even better at the right temperature. Our experience wasn't helped by our waiter, who seemed disinterested after the lipstick incident (same guy mentioned in previous reviews that comes off rude AF/ agreed!). We didn't feel like asking for much after that. On the bright side, one of the waitresses was amazing - she looked like she was carrying the whole place. The chef clearly knows what she's doing because the food coming out of the kitchen was fantastic. That said, attention needs to be paid to cleanliness and serving hot food. There's no excuse for that. Despite these issues, I gave it five stars because the problems are fixable and don't take away from how incredible the food is. For reference, we visited on Friday, January 3rd, in the morning. There was a nearby parking structure and no wait time. The decor is a mix of farm-to-table and modern bistro - nothing overly exciting or disappointing. We were just looking for a good brunch spot, and this place is truly a hidden gem. Hopefully, they address the concerns we mentioned because it's worth coming back for! __________ To the Chef, Your food is incredible - truly Michelin-worthy. However, the staff is serving it cold and sometimes on dirty dishes. This isn't the first review mentioning these issues. Also, the tall white guy with grey hair was incredibly condescending and rude. Hospitality doesn't seem to be the right fit for him. It's disappointing to see someone like that representing the amazing work and love you pour into your dishes. On the flip side, the waitress with long brown hair was picking up the slack and holding the place together. She deserves recognition - maybe even a promotion. I hope you see this because if the team can consistently serve food hot and on clean dishware, this place could easily become the top brunch spot around. We appreciate your talent and hope this feedback is helpful! - Vee & Mike

It has a rustic, darker ambiance and not your usual bright and sunny brunch spots. The menu not too big, but offered enough varieties that we decided to try the biscuit and gravy as well as the corned bee hash. We also got house coffee and they were from mother ship coffee. Food came out quickly, but they were lukewarm and felt like it was already made and just put under a food light to be kept warm. The biscuit was good and soft, but the gravy was a little too salty. The corned beef came in a smaller portion than I expected, and the beef was diced too thin that they didn't have great texture and flavor. Coffee was good, but overall food was not as good as we'd expect. Service was average, the waitress was nice but didn't offer much service besides bringing out initial water and coffee over. No one really checked in on us after the food was served. I'd most likely not be back as there are many other brunch places in the downtown area to explore.

We were enjoying the music and it was a vibe until it came to pay the bill. At 9:30 PM, a full 30 minutes before the posted closing time of 10:00 PM, the staff began rushing us out while my wife was still eating. When it came time to pay our bill, our bank cards were temporarily unavailable due to a system outage. We had the money. This was not a financial issue. It was a technical one we were actively working to resolve. Instead of being given a moment, security surrounded our table and treated us as though we were attempting to leave without paying. We were not. We never attempted to leave. I want to note that a couple of the security members were actually kind and professional throughout. A manager then approached with immediate hostility white male, tattoos, wearing a white crop shirt, and beige pants) no introduction, and no interest in hearing our explanation. I want to Emphasize That everyone working there refused to give me his name (white male) I even attempted to ask him and he walked away. He made demeaning remarks about our finances and specifically told us that if we didn't pay, he would call the police and trespass us, but if we paid, he would not. We paid. My brother sent $30 via Zelle directly to a security staff member to settle the bill. It was paid in full. He called the police anyway. And trespassed us anyway. I had offered to leave my ID as collateral, leave card information on file, or return the next morning. Every offer was refused before we even got to that point. The responding officers acknowledged his behavior was inappropriate. His own staff was visibly uncomfortable. Unless you are prepared to be treated as a suspect over something completely outside your control, I would think twice before dining here.

Bacon Nation slaps slices on just about everything but French toast, and even that can be topped with bacon butter and bacon-infused syrup. The build-your-own omelet is a worthy breakfast, stuffed with two veggies and two meats of your choice. Cheddar, diced onion, and two types of bacon inside three eggs was a winner. Be sure to get some thick bacon slices to go (mango habanero, maple glazed, honey-cured) - always nice to chew on during that nine hour Sunday evening drive back to SoCal. And unlike those anorexic slices that fast food places put on their burgers, you can actually taste this bacon. Open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., they serve lunch too and if you're in 'growling stomach mode', try the Boarrito but be forewarned - this is a pork-fest of a monstrosity that's not designed for consumption by weight watchers or thoroughbred jockeys. A large tortilla filled with ham, sausage, bacon crumbles, pulled pork, guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo is then wrapped on the outside with countless slices of more bacon, smothered with cheese sauce and sour cream...now I need to take a nap just thinking about digesting it. It's a massive meal and I feel like the waitress could have positioned me on all fours in front of a feeding trough in order to graze on it. Bacon Nation is located on the D's second floor inside a very clean and bright dining room with lots of booths, a counter, and an ultra-pleasant hostess named Angel. In summary, a well-earned 5 oink review is deserving because their food is that darn good. "Everywhere there's lots of piggies, living piggy lives.
