Grouchy John's Coffee serves up more than coffee. They offer an assortment of breakfast sandwiches, breakfast tacos, parfaits, pastries and bagels. We tried the sausage breakfast tacos (premade), bacon breakfast sandwich (made to order), a vanilla latte and drip coffee. The tacos were better than the breakfast sandwich -- bacon on the sandwich wasn't very crispy. Would definitely get the tacos again though. Vanilla latte was pretty good but the drip coffee was just below average IMO. The inside is a bit small, but cozy with a variety of seating options. Beware that in the morning hours the sun shines in quite bright.

We were in the area running errands and noticed that Grouchy John's Coffee was nearby. It's been on our radar and so glad there's a location close to home. Items tried and liked (so far): Butter Beer (regular & decaf) Wampa Cold (decaf) O.G. Cold (regular) Caramel Macchiato (decaf) Everything was delicious with no bitter aftertaste taste. They also have decaf which I appreciate :) From what we could see on the menu, decaf isn't listed but if you ask for it, they have it. Service was excellent. Ordered online and our drinks were ready at the time given. Interior is cute and cozy. Parking is plentiful. Highly recommend. I hope you decide to check them out :)

My favorite coffee shop in the Vegas area. I always get the PBM iced. It's just one of those drinks you can't find anywhere else. Staff is friendly and the coffee shop is pretty large with plenty of seating. I also love the fact that you get a discount for being a first responder.

The customer service was great! Matt was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the avocado toast which was Ok , I truly enjoy their price points although I was told they will be increasing . It's a great place to meet up with friends .

Came here and absolutely loved it! The service is great, the baristas are extremely kind, honest, and attentive. They were giving great suggestions for lattes I'd like and telling me which ones I probably should stay away from. I appreciated their openness and their suggestion was truly great. I ended up getting the almond Rocha mocha and it was great! It tasted like a Ferraro rocher :)

They have some house made syrups. Great coffee and pastries. Great place to hang or do some work.

We love this funky coffee shop prior to traveling back! The baristas are always so nice and welcoming. It has a very artsy, funny vibe. They are very consistent with their drinks, I love the lattes here. Their baked goods are good as well. I recommend!

This place was unique and I had a expectation to have more vibrancy. The barista was nice and explain all the drinks are sweet and I did get grouchy John. It didn't taste good especially because it had an after taste that didn't sit well.

Grouchy Coffee totally lives up to its name-but in the best way! The staff might not smile, but the coffee is absolutely delicious, and the space is cozy and cool. I actually love the whole grumpy vibe--it weirdly works. A must-try if you're in Vegas and like your coffee with a side of sass!

Big GJ Fan. I live on the south side, so I frequent that location but when I am on the North side I stop into this location. They share the building with Metro Pizza, so if you're not paying attention you could miss it. Love all their blended drinks! My favorite is the PBM Blended with an add shot. It's the perfect amount of coffee and dessert for me. Never lets me down. The staff is always very friendly and helpful with any questions as well.

I was craving a smoothie and looked up places on Yelp that were open around 8:30 in the morning. Grouchy John's Coffee was one of the first places that showed up on the search and it's right near my house too! The location used to be a lulu's breakfast spot, but now it's Grouchy John's Coffee. Grouchy John's Coffee is right next to Metro Pizza. There is plenty of parking spaces available. When I walked into the Coffee shop, I wasn't greeted by any of the team members. I looked at the menu and noticed they had a wide variety of options such as smoothies, coffee, baked goods like donuts, cinnamon rolls, cookies, and even breakfast options such as wraps! Inside, there are plenty of table and booth seating available. Some of the booth seating had chargers built-into the table right next to the seats, which is nice, especially if you wanted to work on your laptop at the coffee shop. I ended up ordering the following to go The peanut butter, banana, and chocolate smoothie. I saw the picture on Yelp and it looked amazing! (Medium) The Matcha Smoothie with whipped cream (Large). The first team member came out and asked if I had ordered a iced coffee. I let her know that I didn't and she found the other customer who did. After waiting about 10 minutes, the smoothies had arrived! I didn't taste test the smoothies at the coffee shop and ended up bringing the smoothies home! The first thing I noticed was that the peanut butter smoothie was missing the chocolate flavoring. When I took a sip of the smoothie at the house, I noticed it had coffee in the smoothie. I don't drink coffee. My husband ended up drinking it instead. The Matcha smoothie was just okay. It tasted more like a slushy. I'm not really sure what happened with the order. I'm glad I had a chance to try out Grouchy John's Coffee. I'm not sure if I'll be back anytime soon though.

I definitely should have gone with the "& More."…read more Nom Pang Sandwiches & More is a super-hyped restaurant in the deep northwest of Las Vegas that's been lauded as the Cambodian response to all the mediocre Vietnamese sandwiches being sold around the rest of town. I finally made the pilgrimage from the other side of town, hopeful that I would find something worth the hype. I have been eating the Vietnamese version of these sandwiches all my life, so I had to try the namesake at this spot. The Nom Pang Special ($9.00) and the Pate ($8.00) w/ steamed pork are built similarly, except the former has a wider variety of meats. I could write an essay about the similarities and differences in ingredient choices, but there's one main problem: I just didn't enjoy any of it. Why? For me, none of the meats seemed to have much inherent flavor and the pate felt pretty bland as well, so the main tone on the palate is the heavy-handed amount of Maggi seasoning. If you aren't familiar with this, think of it as a cousin of soy sauce and how that shouldn't be the dominant flavor. I also tried a bit of the Lemongrass Beef ($9.00). The marinade read mostly sweet, which I'm not a fan of as my main protein in this sort of sandwich. And where was the lemongrass flavor? Did they just rub a stalk over the beef? The Thai Iced Green Tea ($6.00 large) and Viet Iced Coffee ($6.00 large) were not it either. There is a lot of flavor in the Thai green tea, but much of that is sugar. I started becoming pretty tired of it halfway through. The Viet Iced Coffee was simultaneously not strong enough in coffee and too bitter due to some burnt notes that came through. It is not comparable to any really acceptable level of Vietnamese coffee. The best drink by far was their complimentary iced water. Service was solid, and the employees were all nice. The restaurant environment was okay once I walked over to their evaporative cooling fan and disabled the turning function while it was pointing away from our table. There are plenty of napkins and a Sriracha bottle available at every table. I just wasn't enjoying my food. There is no need to go to Nom Pang if you are looking for a good alternative to Vietnamese sandwiches. Maybe their more traditional cooking is actually worth trying, but it's just so far from Henderson for me to consider visiting on a regular basis.

We came in on Father's Day and there was only one server and no busser to even help her, so she was serving, bussing, and placing/putting together/sending out to go orders.
