Teddy the owner, was kind enough to educate me on his business journey along with the birth of coffee in Africa.. Ethiopia be exact. The Ahadu special 20oz consists of 4 shots of espresso which his technique of grounds is not overbearing, but it wasn't bitter as he gave me a cup of straight Java. The additional ingredients are caramel, vanilla and two nuts of which he'd only reveal one... almond. It was such a delicious and delightful mixture.

It was very filling , and tasted so good that I was stuffing my myself even when my stomach was asking me to stop .... and then the cold Matcha tea- the tea was good but I needed it more sweetened . But, it made a good combination with my warm burrito. I was soo full, I skipped even supper.... I had to listen to my stomach sometime ! The curios on the wall are cute and tgey are for sale. Handmade by local artists, they make great souvenirs if only they had the one little word Kansas on them . One thing I found difficult, finding a cab at 3 pm. It took 20 min for the cab to arrive. Am not sure if it was the timing or the location. Best to go there in your own vehicle. Would love to come again if I am in the city.

I always order a flat white, its my only drink so I like to compare them. That is unless I am in NOLA then I will do cafe au lait, but thats my other reviews. The foam was perfect. A nice microfoam that was smooth and silky and as it settled into the espresso it created a nice creamy smooth drink. The espresso was a touch on the bitter side for me. Maybe a few seconds quicker or a slightly less fine grind. It could have been the coffee beans themselves. I noticed they are using messenger, which is great, but tend to be a bit more bitter due to the roast. Of course, everyone's tastes are different and these are just mine. There was nothing wrong with anything. Overall the milk foam and coffee made for a tasty hot coffee drink to sip. The service was very good and helpful. The barista who made my coffee was very nice and guided us through some of the more interesting menu items, but I am a flat white guy and she nailed it. The place is very small. There are a few places outside to sit but it was hot so we sat inside. A couple of downsides. First, is my wife is a tea drinker and they really didn't have much hot tea. Second, when I order to drink it in the shop I like a real cup instead of paper. Lots of places cater to the take away so I get why they do it, but I really prefer a cup. That being said, if they would have had a great mix of tea drinks I could see this being a regular spot for us. Overall, good place to stop and sip some coffee.

It used to be nestled inside the Colonial Gardens nursery and market off 7 hwy and Wyatt streets in Blue Springs, MO. The signage was sparse, so it was difficult to find... But most people did! And it was so worth the adventure. On our original visit we ordered the Belgian Waffle with fresh fruit. It was light and fluffy on the inside and golden crispy on the outside. The fruit was perfectly ripe and naturally sweet. We also shared a half order of biscuits and gravy. Obviously made from scratch. A warm fluffy and moist biscuit under a generous serving of rich and creamy sausage forward gravy. I couldn't stop eating it I ordered their ham and cheese florentine frittata, which was filled with yummy ingredients and had a creamy custard layer on the top. It was absolutely mouthwatering! They're generous in their portion sizes there. The ambiance was pleasant and cozy. With lots of windows that afforded the best views of the arboretum. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We continued to frequent this place, even after they relocated onto Main Street at the square. They are able to accommodate more guests than before, and offer more dishes and pastries. They put out a heck of a breakfast! You really must try their hospitality. Always friendly, always kind. My "grape salad" was 5 grapes with a very thin layer of yogurt sauce. Quich was decent size. But still left a bit hungry. Service was good Atmosphere was comfortable, clean and had lots of outlets so you could work and have your coffee. Enjoyed my time there. Would go back.
