What a beautiful coffee shop! Lovely small town vibes inside, baristas were greeting people left and right by name. The coffee itself was delicious. There is more than enough seating inside, plenty of pastries to choose from, and the decor inside was delightful. Vegan friendly.

Amazing food, coffee and service. The breakfast burritos were so good. We got pecan cinnamon rolls, the regular cinnamon roll, so good. The berries and crème crepe and four breakfast burritos. Such a cool place we will definitely be back.

I decided to drive to Gardner and try out this coffee shop. I love the building and the soothing, relaxing vibe the place has and the historic building decor with lots of seating, including outdoors. The service was fine and we were able to order immediately and our order came out quickly. My husband's oat milk hot white mocha was good and he said his coffee cake was excellent. I ordered the oat milk iced sugar free vanilla latte and a gluten free chocolate iced bread. The latte was not as good because the syrup was too saccharin tasting unfortunately. The bread was not very flavorful and a bit dry. I love the fact that in lieu of tips for servers they take a cash donation for helping the homeless. We would definitely go back if in the area.

I've driven past here and finally decided to try. They offer a variety of crepes varying from sweet to savory. I tried the Gardner crepe which had pesto, pine nuts, and some other veggies insides, I thought it as pretty good but I wouldn't get it again when I'm in a breakfast mood. Also got the bacon egg cheddar burrito and I believe the potatoes are supposed to be inside but we ordered them on the side. It was really good and savory. The s'mores latte was pretty good, no need to add anything extra. I had the iced Irishman which was really good, got it with no whip and the did make it with it but were super kind and remade a new one! I thought the period elements on the table markers were cute, they also had facts about it on the back. There was couch, hightop, and regulars table seating as well as two tables outside. Parking can be a bit sparse but there's plenty of room inside. I would come back but a big turnoff was the price. For 2 people, it was at $40 with no additives ordered which seems much for me.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops. They have a great option of baked goods, coffee and breakfast items. The service is pretty reasonable and the environment is very welcome and more spacious than it seems from the outside.

Groundhouse Coffee and Bakery is the top spot for pastries, crepes and sweet treats in Gardner, Kansas! I ordered coffee and a lemon blueberry muffin for breakfast. The muffin was lightly crunchy on top and dense in the middle. The blueberries were sweet and extremely fresh inside of the muffin. Groundhouse is popular because of the crepes that are stacked high with goodies. Did I mention this is a great location for working remotely, having a quick business/work meeting, and for a date with your partner, family, and friends? Make sure to stop inside Groundhouse Coffee and Bakery for some delicious sweet treats!

The cinnamon rolls here are baked fresh daily and so good . The shop itself has a relaxing vibe and friendly customer service. Since there are not many other local coffee spots to hang out , it does get a tiny bit competitive for a table , but nothing crazy . I tried the Irishman and my friend got a zebra . We both liked our drinks . I got mine with half the amount of pumps Of sweetener and it was still pretty sweet. There was an odd moment of when I opened the cup at the end of my drink there were these chunky bits floating around . I didn't think much of it because I knew the milk and everything was fine since the coffee tasted good. I just found it a bit strange and wondered what they were . Maybe clumps of powder from the Irish cream mix not mixed fully ? I won't lose any sleep Over it haha , and would give this place another shot if I was staying in Kansas longer .

WOW!!! Good service, great coffee and amazing food. They make all their own pastries everyday (everything except their bagels). And we didn't get any, but everyone's crepes looked amazing! Beautiful space too! It's modern, cozy and inviting.

THE place to hang out in Gardner and have an awesome cup of coffee. The atmosphere is awesome and the overall feeling relaxed. Don't hesitate to try the "Euphoria", now my favorite drink. The staff is friendly and its nice to not have a tip jar but a way to donate to a good cause with your change. They support Safehouse. Check it out. You won't regret it. read more

By far the BEST coffe house EVER!!!!! My husband and I come here in the evenings to get some quiet relaxing time and an amazing white cow blender (my choice) or a caramelicious blender (husbands choice). Live bands on Saturdays give us and our 6 children something fun to do for free so we can buy more COFFEE! Staff is very kind and friendly. They remember you buy name which makes us feel great, you are not just another customer. And perka we love. FREE COFFEE we get excited when we fill up our punches. We do not go anywhere else for coffee. Very comfortable atmosphere, calm, and peaceful. read more

Small town feel with hipster coffee vibe and product. They may not do pour overs, but they know how to do espresso and coffee right. Best little gem in Gardner. We go ever Sunday for coffee and crepes. The staff is very friendly and the service is great. The downside is the wait for the crepes but they are delicious and worth it. If your in Gardner this is a must visit. As you can see from the many 5 star reviews read more

Love this place! Great family owned business in Gardner. Fun place to hang out and visit or have a small meeting. We have met many times for scout planning or playing magic the gathering. The staff is great! Cam is an awesome guy and he makes great drinks even though he is a Redwings fan...I'm a black coffee guy, but I love the salty brown cow. The decor is amazing! It's decorated nicely and they display local art that you buy if you'd like. Great place for the high schoolers to met and work on homework. It's a Main Street business which it love. I will never stop frequenting this establishment. read more

This is one of my favorite coffee shops. Hands down! The customer service is top notch! Even if you don't know the baristas, they still treat you like family. Not to mention the coffee. I have never had a coffee that tasted bad. This is one place that I will always take people when they come in from out of town. read more

The staff, snacks, and coffee are all amazing here. The nitro is good, and the espresso lacks the common bitterness of larger coffee shops. My usual is an Irishman with an extra shot and it's perfect every time. Also a great location to get some work done, as long as you don't mind a little noise once in a while. There are tons of outlets available throughout, plus free wifi. read more

Great atmosphere and good coffee. The decor is cool with some older architectural details. They have a couple of comfy seating areas and the standard tables, and also a cute replica of the counter area for kids to play in and play barista. My nephew absolutely loves going there, and I'm happy to oblige. read more

Yum! The people are friendly, especially the male cashier. He has down syndrome, and he cracks me up with his witty comments. And you can tell they are all such hard workers! Great coffee but i am going to complain today. The service is extremely slow and they still got my wife's order wrong. 15 minutes later when my wife got her coffee she was over it and ready to go to the gas station. Just because groundhouse is the "only" coffee shop in town does not make it right. Step up your game a little groundhouse you can do better! read more

Starbucks has NOTHING on Groundhouse! Their chai tea is the best i have ever had! I've tried many coffee houses across the nation and have never found a better chai! The ambience and family feel is great! Also, on the weekends they serve the best crepes! If you are close to Gardner you HAVE to stop in! You'll find oeople,sitting and,reading, having book club meetings, or playing board games. It's definitely a place to visit! read more

Stopped in on a Friday morning passing through town and wanted to give it a try. Great location in the quaint part of old town Gardner. Loved the interior design of open floor plan with a variety of places to sit and relax. The tin ceiling was cool too. Didn't stay to drink but got a lattee to go. Minimal time to wait and it let me wander the store to look at stuff. They have some pretty cool schwag for sale. My latte tasted great. I believe the espresso beans were from Parasi, a local KC roaster, but I didn't ask. The taste was lite and bright. Different from the 'star' variety. Price wise I think I paid what you would at a retail chain- but here you can keep it local. Will be back again. read more

Absolutely adorable place!! If I lived closer this would be my new weekend morning hang out! Staff was friendly. One thing I really appreciated was that they didn't take tips but instead donated the tips money to Safe House! Says a lot about the owner's character!! ...and the coffee was fabulous! I didn't get to go until they were a few hours in but they had a pretty good selection left. It's a small shop next door to a Honeybaked Ham in a shopping center on Black Bob. Pretty easy to get to. Has several tables inside if you wanted to sit in but we just grabbed several cupcakes, a Dubai Brownie, and a slice of Cinnamon Roll Cheesecake. While they were already sold out in a couple of my first choices (Triple Chocolate and Cosmic) they had some others I was eyeing. Lemon Blueberry, Strawberries and Cream, S'mores, and Chocolate Peanut Butter. Yummy. I think my faves were Chocolate Peanut Butter (how can you go wrong?!) and Lemon Blueberry. I haven't tasted the brownie yet but since brownie is one of my fave desserts, I imagine I'll like it. We were waited on almost immediately and they were super nice. They have a rewards program too which I get could be dangerous! lol They had quite a few different flavors of cookies as well and I noticed they had several gluten free options which is great for those who must avoid it! This is my first visit but I think they change out their flavors pretty often so I'm looking forward to trying some more!

She looked at me like I'm crazy & said (very haughtily) "we've never had sour cream donuts". Selection pitiful. First time to visit this place. I WILL go back. The White Cow was very good as was the crepes my husband and I had (Pumpkin Spice and Swiss Pig). My husband doesn't drink coffee so he had the tea. Said it tasted better than he makes at home. Other non-coffee drinks available. Beautiful old building with lots of character and plenty of seating inside (tables/chairs, sofas, living room chairs, kids table, games, etc) along with a couple outside tables. Well worth the trip if you are driving in from out of town to enjoy some good food in a laid back, small town atmosphere. read more

The customer service was superior to any coffee shop/cafe I have been to. I got some amazing tasting biscuits and gravy, and nuttier the better as a blender. To also add on the seating was very open and not crowded together, as well as having a awesome coffee shop feel to it. I didn't get the crapes but they still looked amazing and extremely great plate presentation. Would highly recommend read more

I love Groundhouse! The staff is awesome. The ambiance of the place is so relaxing. Their menu of drink options is superb. The only drink I've ever had there that wasn't absolute perfection was a chai tea. I love popping by for a beverage and one of their muffins! :) It's my favorite place in Gardner to meet up with a friend. Side note: My husband proposed to me at Groundhouse Coffee! :) read more
