Chilean sea bass with Gochujang carrots
Julie H.

We stayed at Hotel Zaza and eating at Group Therapy was a fabulous part of our visit! We had drinks at the pool one day and had a GREAT dinner another. First and most importantly...our server, Jocelyn! She was a delight. It was early on a Monday so we got to chat and she gave us great suggestions for our dinner and for other things to do on our trip as well. We loved her! We had a Caesar salad, beet and burrata salad (which doubles as a side!) and miso roasted Chilean sea bass. All sooo good! We also had a dessert that was out of this world but I don't know what it was called!! It was like lava cake but with olive oil cake? Bread pudding? Maybe my pic will do it justice. Really wish we were gonna be back in Austin just to eat here again!

Came in with a large party for an early morning brunch. The service was good and our waitress was very attentive. Everyone enjoyed their meals and drinks. The aesthetic was pleasing and very picture worthy, which is why we chose this place for our bride to be! It has a great view of the skyline. I will say if your party is large, they will only split between three cards. So, be prepared.

When I arrived (around 4PM on a Sunday in January), the place was quiet; both the bar and cabana area were nearly empty, with only one other table of guests outside. The staff were incredibly friendly, and bonus points: the restroom was very nice. The rooftop setup includes an indoor bar area with seating and an outdoor cabana space with poolside seating (no glass allowed in this area). As for the view: you don't get much skyline unless you're seated right at the edge of the rooftop, but the atmosphere makes up for it. The combination of the pool and surrounding high-rise buildings gives it this cool industrial-meets-tropical vibe. The street view below, however, is pretty unremarkable. Finding the bar is easy as it's listed on the elevator directory. When you get off the elevator, turn right and keep walking, and you'll run right into Group Therapy. What I Ordered Crispy Brussels Sprouts -- $12 Runaway Mocktail -- $15 Both were delicious. The Brussels sprouts came in a massive portion and were super flavorful. The mocktail was bright and refreshing without being too sweet.

The food was ok, but we enjoyed the large portions of entrees and delicious volcano salt garlic fries. We tried the beef tenderloin sliders and buttermilk dipped chicken breasts. My friend liked her blue crab and lemon butter linguini. The ambience seems a bit outdated but the booths are nicely cushioned. We did love the library like wall filled with books in the back room. The food and drinks came out quickly. Good service. First two hours of parking is complimentary.

Came here for a work function where we had the back area reserved for our company. Good space for stand and chat; then to follow with dinner. This restaurant/bar is on the 7th floor of Hotel Zaza. Beautiful space! Great drink options from cocktails to a nice option of reds and white. I like that they have designated drink options for light cocktails with option to go full virgin! I enjoyed my spicy mango marg and the classic espresso martini very much. Food options are great too!

Chill vibe, feels away from the city, relaxing and great food. Service is friendly. Be prepared to pay though, it's not inexpensive.

loved the decor here. I had the fried avocado salad because the description intrigued me and it was great! spicy & flavorful with lots of different flavors on one plate.

Absolutely delicious food and service. We came just as the sun was setting which made the outdoor seating incredibly peaceful and beautiful. Our waitress Erin was very attentive and kind, and the food and drinks were delicious! Will definitely be back.

We had him choose our charcuterie board for us and we enjoyed all of it. I asked for a sweet red wine and his choice was top notch. The GM Jacob was also very kind. He came to check in on us and made sure we were enjoying our night. The ambiance is very nice as well. Plenty of room and tables and the open kitchen concept is really nice to see. It was cool to see a pizza oven in there too.

When we arrived, our table was ready right away this time and it was a great table. It wasn't packed this time. It was busy still, but overall the place and environment is great. Our waiter was amazing. He was very attentive knew what to recommend and was very nice and a fun person also. This time we started off with a golden beats and let me tell you they were delicious and the cheese that they use at the bottom is just phenomenal. This is definitely something you need to get. We also started off with the muscles and they were delicious. The broth that they were in was so good. You could literally drink it and you just wanted to submerge your bread in it. I also got an espresso martini to wake up because I've been so jetlagged and it was perfect. it was a good balance of the espresso and not sweet. I love that they don't use milk here unlike other places. My mother got the opera spritz and it was delicious. Very well balanced. It was not Avril heavy like some places tend to do. My mother got the Braised pork pasta, and it was divine. This was full of flavor a good amount of sauce not salty. We also got the chefs butcher pizza and it was amazing. I loved that you can tell they make all the ingredients there and the bread is just so good. Also had some kind of sauce on there with some piece of cheese that just balanced it so good. Definitely thanks to this experience. I will say I will keep going back. I'm thinking maybe when I first swim they were just having an off day but now trying the rest of these dishes. They did really good and definitely a place to enjoy when you're at the domain.

Rosé Gosé (note accents) is in an unassuming Airport Blvd location (right next to Jewboy Burgers, an Austin favorite). It is run by a couple from Belarus that came here right after Covid to open up a restaurant, with a sister in Minsk. Defying expectations, the menu is not Balkan at all. If anything, there is a strong Asian influence with poke bowls and a lot of seafood. But the menu also offers beef tartare on their raw bar menu, as well as a steak offering and grilled chicken. It's a diverse and adventurous menu, all the way from small plates to hefty mains and vegetable sides. For the dessert, try the pavlova, a meringue confection stuffed with coconut mousse and topped with lime sorbet and a grapefruit slice sidecar. Everything is superbly presented, and unquestionably fresh and healthy without veering into twigs and berries territory. The cocktail menu is also playful, with a lot of nontraditional glassware and slight spins on popular drinks; their version of a Paloma uses prosecco instead of a splash of soda. The servers are all dressed in rosé jumpsuits and very attentive. The space is amiable and elegant without being pretentious. The table spacing is a little close, so that conversations carry between guests. The table setting has some nice touches, like the little wooden bench that holds your fork and knife off the table. In European fashion, water can be asked for but it won't be served with ice. Plan on taking your time and enjoying course after course.
