The rest of the project had no more grout cleaning or resealing. They packed up and prepared to leave. I showed them samples of how much grout they missed. No comment from their one worker. I called to complain, they came about five days later and all they did was make execuses and lies. After all the years I've worked with him, I recently asked him why he hasn't grown his team larger and expanded his business more (he has PLENTY of business but having more workers would expand his business even larger) He told me it's because he likes to oversee every project himself personally and if the business got too large, he may not be able to expend himself to the oversight that he insists on. If Ziggy is working at one house, and sends a couple of his guys to yours to do a smaller job, trust me, he will be popping in on a regular basis to make sure things are done correctly, and perfectly. What started as a quote to sand and refinish our hardwood foyer turned into a larger project: we decided to install matching hardwood in our dining and living rooms, then sand, stain, and finish the entire space. The pricing was reasonable, and the timeline worked for us, so we moved forward. During the project, an unexpected issue was discovered beneath the existing hardwood. Luciano clearly explained two options -- one impacting time and budget and one that did not -- provided his professional recommendation, and allowed us to decide.
