Received a flyer that caught my attention. It had been 10 years since we had our travertine cleaned. We 'rustic' form of travertine and when we moved in the company we hired at that time basically said after they 'cleaned' the stone that it was a tough stone to get cleaned and that was really the best we could expect. Then we met Jorge. He came out, went through the entire area, explained the in's and outs of the stone and what they do to clean and seal it. I figured why not since it had been 10 years and we might as well give it a go. I am beyond happy we did! Jorge did an incredible job on our stone. It has never looked better. Moved all the furniture, knocked the job out in about a day and a half which was just under the amount of time he thought it would take. Done early and on budget, and exceptionally well. Grout works came out to do a couple of projects. They cleaned my floors and kitchen counters. They did an excellent cleaning. It was a fast process. Kitchen counter took about 1 hour. They went above and beyond. Jorge took care of a couple of miner grout issues. I had going on on the kitchen counter I was not aware. Love the detail of his work. Floor procedure was fast paced. It was about 1 hour and half to, two hours. I have dogs so I wanted them back in the house as soon as possible. Jorge's prices are fair. I would recommend hiring him. Jorge did a fantastic job working on the tile & grout in both of my bathrooms simultaneously at a very reasonable price. Over two days, he and his team replaced cracked tiles, fixed degrading grout and applied colored grout sealer as requested. He was very communicative when he ran into any issues (as happens whenever you are working on a project) and was very honest about when savings occurred or when added work might cost a little more. GROUT WORKS FOR THE WIN!!! George IS GREAT! We found him on yelp (I know, I know... One 5* yelp review and 30 reviews not recommended is a little concerning) and was also recommended by other services (a big plus!) as we were looking revitalize our existing shower and grout of the master bathroom. We specifically asked George to help with the tile & grout component of our bathroom and see what options were available to us. First, his response time is prompt and best of all the grout service providers we inquired about. Second, he was courteous and respectful AND on time during the estimate visit. Also, Wifey ALWAYS has lots of questions to ask and he never once talked to her condescendingly or acted irritated in any way. On all the service days he showed up on time, efficient during work time, and always cleaned up after himself when the work was done for the day. Craftsmanship was excellent. Tile was polished to a bright shine and existing ugly old grout and silicone was removed & replaced with the latest in grout tech! BOOM! Gorge gave a very in-depth inspection and quote on my 8-9 year old remodel. The biggest things working against me were very hard water and no flex in my wall joints. Let 8-9 years pass and you get: grout crack, tile cracks and hard water deposits. Not only did Gorge do a fantastic job at returning all these areas back to original, he also gave some flex to key joint lines to prevent future breaks/cracks. Great Job!!! I own an electrical company here in Ventura and deal with a lot of subs, George was very responsive. I had a problem with my shower and called for an estimate from a few other businesses from Yelp and Grout Works came the same day and gave me a price the same day. Everybody else wanted me to send them pictures and I don't typically vibe with that because It's too difficult to get every detail necessary for a proper estimate so then you end up paying for a bunch of extras.
