was called because the MRI machine wasn't lowerin. they asked if we could manage climbing up into the machine, yes we can. They said come on down early. After a 40 minute drive we paid and waited our turn. 1 hour later we were told the mechanic came to fix the machine. 1.5 hr later we got an update, machine was in pieces and couldn't tell us how much longer. we left got home 40 minutes later. Do not waste your time scheming your MRI at this location. read more

On 10/22/24 @5:55 am, I walked into the downstairs office for my MRI appointment. The ladies behind the desk were engaged in an obvious personal conversation. I said excuse me nicely and asked if I was in the correct line. So Latrice behind the desk rudely asked what I was there for. I responded for an MRI. She again very arrogant and loud said what type of MRI? I told her what for she said YA YOU ARE IN THE ROGHT LINE. Then she and her coworker engaged in their personal conversation. So I politely dealt with being checked in sat down in the waiting room until I was to be seen.. Well before I was called out for my MRI a gentleman pushing an elderly woman in a wheelchair walks in and was also being treated so rude by all 3 ladies working the front desk. I over heard them ask him if he had the paperwork to be seen and he said he did not have anything. (Broken English) He asked if anyone spoke Spanish?? Latrice yelled to them in a very rude loud voice No Habla Espanol Senorita!! At the time there were other Spanish speaking patients filling out their paperwork to be seen. I was seen for my MRI and out the door in approximately 30 minutes. I was furious at the way myself and others were treated by the ladies working the front desk to check patients in. I came here to Yelp to write this review and I read other reviews on this business and this is an on going issue. The reviews are clearly not being taken seriously. Training is key. It appears that further steps should be taken since the reviews of others and myself are just being pacified or appears this way. My insurance company will be notified as well. Grove Advanced Imaging in Rancho Cucamonga cancelled my appointment 27 min before my scheduled check-in time. I wasn't aware that my test was cancelled. The staff behind the glass window had a "didn't care attitude".She just turned me away without offering any help to try to resolve the issue with the doctors order. So inconsiderate and uncompassionate! (Not considering my NPO status, preparation and hour commute). Dept needs to have a better process handling cancellation notifying patient way in advance and not last minute. Staff needs better training, friendly & helpful front desk staff. read more

I Experience them trying to have me pay out of pocket witch was a "no" on my end. Because I knew that my insurance would of covered it. I'm not blaming the people that work there in these faculty. WHAT A SHITSHOW !! My ortho recommended them so I made the appt last week. the day before appt they texted me and said they didnt get authorization from insurance and I had to reschedule. Turns out the never submitted to insurance for authorization. I called insurance today, we did a three way with the scheduler, he gave me a date and I asked Insurance to verify it was submi9tted she said nothing was. Scheduler didnt realize I had insurance on the line as well, he started backtracking and said he would look into it and call me back in 5-10 minutes. that was5 HOURS ago, still no call. I was a few minutes late for my appt today. I felt really bad but I had a stomachache this morning and I did not want to reschedule since Grove canceled my appt a month prior, on the same day of my appt, due to 'no technician available today.' I really need my MRI done today because my PT has been waiting for my results. I just did not appreciate how the front desk staff looked at me and made a comment to her coworker about my being late and their comment exchanges to my face :-(. I work in a dental office, and we empathize with patients when they have a situation with their appts. I did apologize to the MRI technician, and hopefully, my few minutes late did not push her back too much. I am aware, though, that they did take in the patient after me, which was the right thing to do on their part. I'm glad they did that, and I deserved to wait. My initial phone call to schedule the procedure I spoke with a very cold and rude woman. A second phone call with a different person was better. However, after several calls to what I believed were local phone numbers (909 and 951 area codes) and trying to reach the facility, I realized I was calling "off shores" each time (not located in the US). I was hung up on several times as they tried to transfer me; billing sent me to scheduling and scheduling said I needed to go back to billing and so forth. No one could answer the concerns I had about the contrast adequately or confidently. I made the decision to cancel my procedure and find a new facility. I cannot comment on the location but only on the process to schedule and the individuals who are answering phones when you call. I also uploaded the requested paperwork online through their link and I had to do so three different times because they kept saying it was needed even though I could see it uploaded and "under review". Getting a message that they needed the orders the day before the procedure after sending the paperwork twice before made me uncomfortable with the facility. I had an appointment here today for both a mammogram and bone density tests. I arrived early and to my surprise was seen earlier than expected. That's always a pleasant surprise. The technicians were polite and pleasant. Procedures lasted only minutes. I would definitely recommend this place for any X-ray needs. read more

I was scheduled for MRI at 8710 Monroe CT #100 Rancho Cucamonga. I arrived 10 mins prior to my appointment. I was in that machine for 45 mins with that loud noise had to use the restroom and was told if I couldn't complete the test it would need to rescheduled. Apparently no images were taken within all that time in the machine besides having to pee & my neck killing me returned from the restroom and there was another patient already in the machine I had to ask for the key to get my belongings. The technician never apologized or explained the issue. I asked the receptionist what happen with the images she said you must have been moving to much. Stay away from this location they don't know what there doing and the technician has no compassion. read more

never been so upset in my life. This interaction made me feel so yucky. I called this location just to see if they had any cancellations because I had a referral for an ultrasound and ended up having the day off so thought to try and see. The ladies tone over the phone seemed very distant and rude. The way she spoke to me was very undermining, she asked things like "what's your name?," "what location," "well let me ask you this, have you eaten anything today?," "when did your doctor send the referral?," all of which were very reasonable questions, her tone however made a complete difference. The way she asked those questions were in a condescending tone, almost like she wanted me not to come in, and wanted to like prove me wrong and catch me mess up? It was just very off and I've never felt so disrespected. I was irritated because she asked when I saw my doctor and she sent out the request and I told her February 27th. The date of this phone call was March 3rd, and she proceeded to tell me in the rude tone that it has to be at least 24 hours after my doctors appointment for them to receive the request. The doctors appointment was well over the 24 hour mark, and even so I had the referral in my hand and have never had an issue using the information on that to schedule an appointment for anything else so it was just a off response to me. That is when I officially was over it and I called her a mean name, "I'm just gonna call a different place because you're a (b-word)," and then hung up in the heat of the moment. Personally for me this makes me feel weird because I've never encountered someone that just was so mean, and it's not like me at all to call someone any type of name. I'm a very kill them with kindness, and you don't know how their day has been kind of person. Personally I think what frustrates me the most is that 1. She brought out such a negative side in me (I apologize for what I said, that wasn't me) but 2. A lot of people calling these centers are going through a rough time, these ultrasounds can be very scary for me, a sexual assault victim, or for other patients that may be experiencing miscarriages, infertility, and many other issues that are super sensitive. You're the first impression these patients get when scheduling an already nerve wrecking appointment . As someone's whose also worked in customer service, no mater how hard your day is going, or how frustrating your last call is, you shouldn't let it affect the next person you interact with, especially a customer/patient. I hope that the person I spoke with learns from this as will I. read more

Worst experience ever . The front office was great. The ultrasound technician was rude , she called me in has no personality , very dry , her name is Megan "Maureen" . She had a screen open with all the patient's information displayed, date of birth and names with other information that no one she have seen . I brought this to her attention that this should not be allowed. She became defensive asking me how I knew this . When you go to receive medical attention it shouldn't be a bad experience. Funny how if you are 15 minutes late they won't take you, but if they are late you have to suck it up. I don't understand why they can't just call and reschedule if they know they are running behind. Couple days ago brought my grandpa for the 2nd time to get an exam done here. He was looking forward to getting the same costumer service as last time with Veronica. She was not there which was a bummer. The 3 ladies that were in the front are so inconsiderate. Teri, Lucy & Tisa (got their names from the tech), anyway they were too busy talking about other coworker's and u can clearly hear them out in the lobby. Let me tell you something about this place. The staff there is very helpful the person who takes the Imaging she is great at what she does and she makes you feel very comfortable. The Imaging machine that they use is by far the best I've ever had experienced. It doesn't make the loud noise I mean you still get the boom booms and the bang bangs but it's not as loud and I'm claustrophobic so I didn't even need to take a pill to do it because it was not Extremely Loud and annoying. The young lady at the front desk Reese she is sweet as she can be I know I'm spelling her name wrong but I just wanted to put the emphasis on how helpful she was. I highly recommend this place I give them five stars they went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable if you have any Imaging needs this is the place to go. read more

This is place is by far the worst medically run facility. Whoever is running this facility is a complete disaster. They have shady business practices with medical billing. They tell you have to pay out of pocket because they can't be bothered to verify insurance. My insurance covers MRI at 100%! They lied and my insurance only pays 20% then said I needed to pay full amount or leave. I spoke with my insurance company they said Grove imaging never called to verify insurance coverage. They are complete scam artist just trying to milk people for there money even when they have insurance. Now I have to jump through hoops to get reimbursed. I'm filing a grievance and will be contacting a lawyer. The billing department leaves you on hold forever and no one answers at the front desk. read more

Poor communication. I've used only their Ulta sound service. Technician isn't too friendly. Not comfortable at all. No one is allowed inside with you. They don't offer (pregnant women) extra pillows or support for under knees to relieve pressure from your back. Over all just crappy facilities. If you're pregnant take something for under your knees-It's miserable without for your 1hr ultra sound. read more

I don't know why so many people on here had to wait so long, I came in at 11 am I was given two drinks each 30 minutes apart, and taken in at 12 which is when my appointment was set at, the receptionist were super nice, as well as the CT technician, they give you a locker for your items and gown to change in. I was out by 12:10. Only down side was the parking, the first time I came to this building last week there was no one but I guess on a Tuesday morning it's way busier so go a little early to find parking so you aren't late! read more

What they failed to let me know was that they were not going to include the disc that Workers Comp paid for that belong to me. I've been called the office and all I get is an answering machine. I'm so glad that I get to do this review :-). After waiting forever to speak with a representative to schedule an appointment and confirm insurance, I was told that they could schedule my appointment as early as next day and that I would have a co-payment of $250. I was surprised that I had a copayment for this procedure with my insurance but didn't really question it. I scheduled my appointment for a Monday morning. I received generic text on Friday morning asking for insurance and referral info via a link, which I completed promptly. After uploading all the necessary docs, I apparently got a text saying that they have been trying to get a hold of me to reschedule my appointment (which I must've missed) as I was out of town on vacation. The funny thing was that I got another text on Sunday asking me to confirm my appointment (which I did). When I showed up to my appointment, the receptionist informed me that they hadn't received insurance authorization and that they need to reschedule my appointment. I told them that I had gotten confirmation texts and uploaded everything they asked for. She said that the texts are sent to confirm the appointment but that doesn't have anything to do with insurance and then after looking at her computer she informed me that I was sent a text on Friday informing me that they needed to reschedule. Mind you, the reschedule text came 30 minutes after the "provide us your info" text. So I reschedule the appointment with receptionist who seems like she has to deal with the same crap every day and either hates her job or just doesn't care. I reschedule for a later time...whatever. She provides me with a phone number to call to confirm that my appointment is still on before coming in. I tried calling it about 5 times with no answer. I leave a message asking them to confirm, but I never get a call back. I go to my appointment and wouldn't you know I get the same receptionist who proceeds to do her job without engaging me at all. No big deal, but not very friendly. She informs me of the $250 payment that they must collect before services are rendered. This seemed odd to me as I had never paid for a procedure like this when I had done it at other facilities in the past. I figured once they got the insurance Authorization, I wouldn't have the "co-pay." After I paid it, I started looking at my insurance info and discovered that they were not in-network. When I asked a different receptionist she said that they take my insurance and that the payment might be from an unmet deductible. I informed that I met my deductible. She said then maybe it's a co-insurance. I informed her that when I look at my insurance info on my app they don't appear as an in-network provider. She looked it up and identified that they only are in-network for emergency procedures or some other hullabaloo. I called an "in-network" provider who quickly answered the phone, got all my info and even called me back to confirm authorization, while I was waiting in line to get my money back. I told them that I want to cancel my appointment and get my money back, which my very uncaring receptionist did without hesitation. It appears that this place will tell you anything to get your business, but beware, they are either clueless or willfully deceptive. Either way, I'm glad I didn't go there for my procedure despite my 2 visits because it afforded me time to write this review. My experience with Grove Imaging was far from expected and very disappointing.traffic was extremely heavy with a traffic accident on the 10 causing me to be @15 minutes late. The blond receptionist immediately said to me that she couldn't help me because my appointment was 1200 noon . For at least 2-3 weeks I've been in communication with this imaging center . With 4 different texts and talking encounters all saying it was 1235 . I arrived at 1252. She offered me No solution whatsoever without me having to plead my case .she finally out of frustration said she would reschedule me for the end of the month. I even told her that I called the 800 number to make sure everything was all good with exam/ Insurance/ she told me we don't have a 800 number . She called the number wanting to prove me wrong . After calling the number she realized she was wrong. Then she changed to and kept saying I could only get seen today if someone cancels . I tried asking her to work with me and I wasn't leaving . It wasn't until I asked her to get a manager in which she directed me to go upstairs ( I possibly have a torn right ligament and meniscus) she begrudgingly went to the back and approximately 20 minutes later Danielle the office coordinator asked me to the back and thankfully helped out . She was very professional and apologetic however didn't get MRI for 1 and 1/2 hours . I take responsibility for being late however I can't believe there's no grace period to still see patients. What I haven't mentioned is 4 girls came back from lunch during this whole time with Starbucks drinks and in the back near the changing room the break room was a full blown party buffet with balloons which maybe she wasn't happy to not being able to eat. Who knows but I'll definitely be choosing a different facility for images to be done . read more

Very nice X-ray Tech. Came in for bilateral feet xrays. I checked in at front desk, they needed my ID and Insurance cards. I filled out 2 papers and gave them my X-ray request form from my doctors office. I waited maybe 25 minutes before being called back. I was a walk in so that's not too bad. One clip board for X-ray check I'm on the right and one clip board for MRI check I'm on the left. read more

IN & OUT IN A FLASH! We showed up Saturday afternoon 02/06/16 at around 1:00pm. I expected a mad house but it was quite the contrary. There were roughly 8-10 people waiting and about 1/3 the seating that was unoccupied. Sounds like a good hour and a half wait at the very least right? WRONG! IT TOOK 30 MINUTES!!! YES THEY SAW ALL THE FOLKS THAT WERE BEFORE US THEN TOOK CARE OF US IN 30 MINUTES!!! AMAZING!! That's worth 5 stars alone but I'm not done. WE WALKED IN WITH NO APPOINTMENT!! Okay so I believe that point has been made. Now let's talk about the overall service. The lady who was alone and received and checked in everyone "Christina" was as patient, and polite, and friendly, and knowledgeable as she was lovely. She answered my questions about my copay & deductible with relative ease. The lady had a smile that lit up the place. Even a blind person could see that this young lady doesn't have a bad bone in her body. Her parents must be very proud. She is definitely "good people". Then there was "Joseph" the Xray tech. He was more the silent type but excellent at his craft and very patient. My son who was the patient is Autistic and can be very uncooperative. It took some coaxing to get my son into the correct positions but we got all the shots needed on the first attempts. Piece of cake. It's easy for me to tell that Christina & Joseph have a system they use that makes them a quick & effective team. All the better for me! Good job guys! This place is a complete joke! I was referred by my minor daughters pediatrician for an mri. I had filled out paperwork online to be prepared for the appointment and the day before the appointment I got a text that they didn't have authorization for my insurance and the appointment needed to be rescheduled. I immediately called my insurance to see if there was an issue with the insurance and they kindly told me no problems with coverage and no co pay for the mri. He also told me, I have PPO and do not need an authorization, I can go to any imaging center, and that nobody from ANY imaging center has called to VERIFY my insurance. I called Grove diagnostics at the number from the text and the issues begin. They didn't have my insurance info!! So I give it to her and she asks me if I'm gonna pay out of pocket or she needs to reschedule the appointment. I asked why can't u call the insurance now to get verification and I can get my daughter seen. She kept going in circles told her I'll just go somewhere else and I told her what my insurance said. Well, she then saw on her computer that I have no copay and I could go to appointment and there wouldn't be a problem. I get there and there's a line and the "tech" with black hair and chunky gold highlights was so rude to a woman who was looking for a mammogram and she rudely told her to go upstairs. So that's when I looked up their YELP reviews. Well I think we all have something in common here according to these reviews. Got to the counter and they asked for my i.d and insurance card and he copies it, and low and behold he says we don't have authorization!!! WHAT!? I asked authorization for what he said from the dr.!!! What??, she referred me here. He needed to verify my insurance again!! I called the dr. Coming in so frustrated because of noncomplete paper work causing 4 rescheduling.. these gals killed it for me! Terri greated me, listened to my frustrations w/the systems incompetence, & proceeded to bend over backwards to make this appt. work for me. She went over & beyond w/computer, phone calls, & completed needed paperwork. All 3 front desk gals made me feel important & personalized the treatment I recieved.
