It was quite a few years ago when we purchased a pool table from Boynton Billiards in West Palm…read moreBeach. We recently visited their showroom to discuss an upgrade to our traditional Olhausen Pool Table. The staff was accommodating and guided our decisions. We were told to call their office at another location to arrange a date for the installation. The office provided me with an individual's phone number that was responsible for the installation. We arranged a date and off to the races. The service team was excellent. They installed my pool table, removed the old rug, replaced it with a new carpet, and brought sets of assorted color felts for us to choose from. Once we chose the color, they reinstalled the pool table and replaced the pool pockets. Brooks Billiards was the installer, and Mr. Brooks and his companion Vinny were fantastic. They work efficiently, exceptionally clean, and the price was reasonable. Why do I love playing billiards? It is addictive. The game provides immediate gratification when you make a shot, and it is easy to develop the game gradually every time you play. In addition, I do not believe in living room furniture, a pool table makes that room more interesting.

They have a good selection of pool tables, card tables, and other accessories for a game room! Everything was delivered with care and the guys who set everything up were top notch professionals and were very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them!

We squeezed our party of four into O'Shea's very crowded interior. First we tried to find seats at…read morethe bar as the place was filling with soccer fans coming to watch the game. We were directed to a booth that just opened up and our server was very helpful. They offer a full bar with a large selection of bottled and draft beers. I ordered one of my favorites ... a pint of Harp's ... ice cold and wonderful. My wife and I narrowed down our favorite Irish dishes, selecting the Irish Beef pie that came with mashed potatoes and veggies,(peas included of course!) The food is very good and portions are generous. We will have to try them again, not on a game day, but will come back for the great food!

We stopped by here with friends intending to have a beverage and then head over to another place…read moredown the street. We wound up eating lunch here. Meanwhile, they were absolutely packed! I mean a hundred more folks than allowed by the Fire Marshall, I'm sure. There was a big soccer match between France and Qatar. And everyone and his brother was standing room only to watch the match. There were even speakers outside so those tables on the sidewalk could listen to the game. We were seated at a booth table that didn't have a very good view of the TV screen, so it opened up. The guys each tried a harps beer on tap. They liked it. Our friend had an old fashioned. For food, my husband and I shared a beef pie. It was chunks of meat in a pie crust. With delicious Guinness brown gravy on the side. And veggies: peas, carrots and broccoli. Plus mashed potatoes, of course. Our friends had an appetizer of onion rings and fish n chips. The beer battered cod was fried and served with veggies and french fries. It looked very good. It was loud. And even louder when there was a goal. So conversation was a bit challenging. Despite everything going on around us, we still got pretty good service. We also got to try a promo for a non-alcoholic Heineken. And our server even said that she hoped we'd come back next time -- when they weren't so busy.
