My girl friend and I way back when loved our honky tonk bars. We upped the ante and figured let's check out line dancing. We both barely drink so this was a nice alternative. If you go before 8 it's free otherwise it's $10 cover. Everyone was one their feet. It was so lively and fun! They give free lessons. I think the next time I go I'll rock daisy dukes and cowboy boots to fit in. This time I observed but by the time we were leaving I was starting to feel it and catch on. Not sure how much drinks were but didn't seem too bad, I had a high noon and shared fries with her. I'd visit again and participate.

What the owner explains at the door and the policy written on the website do not match.

My daughters recently tried to visit Renegades and were extremely disappointed with how they were treated. Despite my daughter being 21 and fully responsible for her younger sister during their visit on family night, they were denied entry simply because a parent or legal guardian was not present. The policy does not state that on the website. I understand and respect the need for age restrictions, but the policy feels unnecessarily rigid. A responsible adult over 21 should be more than capable of accompanying a minor in a public setting -- especially in a family-friendly environment. There was no alcohol involved, no inappropriate event, just an unclear policy enforced with zero flexibility or empathy. The staff made no effort to offer alternatives or even explain the reasoning beyond "rules are rules." It felt dismissive and unwelcoming. The girls were looking forward to this outing before heading back to college and high school next week., It was frustrating for them to be turned away for something that, frankly, could have been handled with a bit more understanding and common sense. Sadly, we won't be returning -- and I'll be letting friends and family know to think twice before planning a visit here. Roundup has a much better vibe -- a little drive but so worth it!

First time at renegades. It was pretty fun. The micro wrestling federation event was there. The bar snacks are pretty good. We had the grill cheese and gator bites. I was impressed not to bad. The drinks were definitely heavy on the liquor so no complaints. Cool spot to check out for an event. Plenty of parking and it's a pretty big place.

Wednesday was a mash of many things: family night, beginner lessons, birthday parties and billiards. With minutes, the place filled up. Two bars, one on each end of the dance floor. Several long tables in a corner for some large groups. For additional entertainment, 2 pool tables requiring $2 of quarters. Most amazing part of the evening was Bartender Steve! He's a one-man show!! No matter how busy it got, he took care of everyone! Lots of lessons to learn. But, also fun to watch.

For me this place has come along ways. I've been a few times and just being candid I didn't feel welcomed by the staff at all, nonetheless I never really let that bother me from going back. I dined in on a Wednesday night which happens to be a night they offer line dancing and bingo, the bingo is located on the outside patio with prizes awarded. This go around our sever was a sweet girl from the Bahamas. She took our drink orders I immediately and then the food order. Both which came out quick, a plus as we were hungry. She checked in periodically and even asked us if we wanted to join in on the line dancing. This was a much better experience for me. There was Happy Hour going on but by the time I remembered it, it ended but the deal was 2 for 1 drinks. Lots of parking on either side of the building.

Always a fun night line dancing. It's great with the free lessons before to understand the new dances that they have created. The drink prices are good and the bartenders are personable and friendly. Always make new friends here

The cocktails were amazing (the one with Desert pear and compari - i dont remember the name - was exceptional). We got the grilled carrots appetizer and clams. Those. Carrots. It quickly became clear why the drinks receive high praise! They were indeed delightful and well crafted. However, my experience with the food left much to be desired. We ordered the Brussels sprouts, which were topped with a creamy sauce. Unfortunately, the dish did not meet expectations, falling short in flavor and presentation. I would rate them a mere two out of ten. Additionally, we tried the oysters, which were disappointingly bland. Even with various toppings, they lacked the fresh vibrant taste one hopes for when enjoying oysters. Regrettably, both dishes missed the mark for me so I decided not to order more food and go somewhere else. On a positive note, our server was exceptional friendly, attentive, and accommodating, which helped enhance our overall experience. The restaurant's ambiance was mature and inviting and its location is indeed impressive. Despite the high ratings and popularity, I found the food lacking, which makes me hesitant to return. While I appreciate the quality of the drinks and the warmth of the service, the culinary offerings did not live up to the hype considering the basic dishes I ordered. Go for drinks only!

When I checked Howley's on yelp I was surprised that there were so many negative reviews. Howley's is managed by the Sub-Culture Group, and we dine regularly at Kapow in East Boca and Dada in Delray Beach, also managed by Sub-Culture. And while this is an entirely different type of food, I still wanted to take a chance and check them out. And we did and were pleased and more than satisfied. First, the decor is truly funky. I'm not sure if everything is from the 50's when they first opened, but it sure looked like it was. The restaurant was spotless, and the toilet was as well. The AC was strong which was appreciated. Artwork on the walls was not our style but must have been from a local artist. Ceiling fixtures were similar to what my parent's had in the late 60's. Jessica was our server and she was professional and positive in her attitude. Could not have asked for anything more. Decided to order a turkey club on rye bread ($15) with fries which were included and share it. Some of the reviews addressed how large their portions were and photos confirmed it. Jessica brought out the sandwich which was split in the kitchen with an ample amount of fries on each plate. The fries were delicious. Obviously freshly made and not sitting around, they were crisp without being overcooked. The turkey was described as fresh roasted sliced turkey and it sure was. Bacon was plentiful and crispy along with fresh lettuce and tomato. Mayo served on the side as requested. The sandwich was so large that I was only able to eat a half of my half, taking the rest home for the following day. Ordered a corn muffin and chocolate chip muffin to take home and each was fresh and delicious. ($5-$6) Howley's certainly warrants a visit if you are in the area and not seeking a trendy looking place which exists all over West Palm where the food may not be as good but the vibe is what is being sold with mediocre food. There was an on-site manager who visited our table to make sure all was good. I neglected to ask her name and apologize - she was welcoming and clearly on top of her managerial duties. Would I return? Sure would. And endorse fellow helpers to check them out.

Howley's is a great local spot that has a wide variety of options. I also tried a cup of their chicken noodle soup, which I enjoyed. The steak was cooked perfectly and came with crispy onions on top. The mashed potatoes had a very nice texture, and you could tell that the gravy was homemade. The green beans were crisp and flavorful.
