Love it here, great atmosphere. Ashlynn is the greatest bartender of all time! I've cold modelo drafts

I got lost and ended up at lost weekend on a weekday. Once I was inside, I walked upstairs and accidentally stumbled into AshWednesdays. The bartender upstairs is amazing and gives great service. Also she might be the first bartender to do a cartwheel upstairs in the history of the establishment but you didn't hear this from me. Turns out lost weekdays are sometimes better than lost weekends. Go upstairs and have yourself a beer no matter what day of the week it is when you're reading this. Go on, you deserve it. Especially if it's a Wednesday

This place is super cool. Love the vibe it has. Perfect for a night out with friends and a date night. Been there twice and both times I had fun. However it's hit or miss with the drinks. The bartenders are not consistent. There's a guy bartender who is just awful at making drinks. Always too strong to the point the drink is disgusting. The girl bartender is on point! Not too strong always made perfectly. Her bar is always packed and I know why. She makes the best old orange fashion it's amazing. My husband went without me and had the same experience with both bartenders. The jukebox definitely has to go. I would suggest getting a Dj to play on Friday and Saturday nights and have the jukebox the other days. Haven't eaten there but I always hear how delicious their tacos are, so definitely have to try them. Definitely would recommend this place.

Truly loved this place, super fun and quirky. Lots of arcade games like the largest pac-man screen, pinball, hand claw, bowling, etc. Very colorful and lively, a great time. It's actually two bars in one, downstairs is Lost Weekend and upstairs is Voltaire but the owner owns both. I will definitely be coming back for it's more of my seen, great music but not themed toward dancing which is great. If you are ever in town definitely have to come here for it's an experience you will never forget. Very 80s/90s vibes, check the my picture to get a sense of what I'm talking about.

Happened in on the suggestion of a colleague. Unlike most other reviews, my walk-in order for take out was end of day at 6pm on a Thursday so no crowd. Place seemed fine enough with games, bar etc for a sort of towny-like local hangout. Ordered tacos and an app each priced $2 - $4. CAULIFLOWER - recommended by bartender, delicious, awesome flavors from the vegetable texture and sweet & lightly smoky sauce, great for vegetarian/vegan PORK - was ok, not bad, better than expected as not fan of pork taco just not as excited by it as other reviewers CARNE ASADA / STEAK - unfortunately ate this later when it wasn't hot, good enough, surely better warm YUCCA FRIES - simply delicious, good portion and the mojo sauce was great Net net actually good quality, cheap eats, after all it's categorized as a pool hall

The wait was pretty long but the bar was first come first serve so we hoped to snag a spot there instead. The restaurant itself is tight. It's long but thin and the waiting area is like nonexistent so you're basically all huddling around people's tables. Luckily we were able to get drinks while we waited and the drinks were delicious. I ordered "The Crush" which had green grapes in it. It was so refreshing and delicious!! It's been a couple of weeks since we went and I'm still thinking about how good that drink was. I forgot what my bf got to drink but he enjoyed it as well. Finally some seats opened up at the bar and we were able to sit there and I'm so glad we did. Our bartender, I believe his name was Sam, was on point. Just exceptional service from him. He was great at his job and we also really enjoyed our conversation with him. To eat we ordered the deviled eggs, the tuna tartare and the Emerald Kale Salad with Rotisserie Chicken. The salad was just so incredible we ordered one to go as well. The food is absolutely worth coming back here for, the tuna tartare was also fantastic. The deviled eggs were okay, but I'm not a good judge for them as I'm not a huge deviled eggs person. Next time we're in the area I need to come back here. So good!!!

My favorite items were the chicken meatballs (perfect texture, with the right amount of spicy mustard) and the prime rib sandwich (the bread was soft, steak was juicy and tender, horseradish was creamy). ALL of our dishes, however, were soooo good, and I'd order any of them a second time! Small seating area inside (just a few tables and bar seats), and they don't accept reservations, so expect to wait a little bit. The inside is dark, with warm lighting and big leather booths; you don't feel like you're in south Florida anymore, it's a northern cozy vibe. Service was nice, but didn't check in often enough (often times having to flag someone down for utensils, plates, etc). I would definitely return here for dinner!!

While in Palm Beach…read morefor a work meeting, my wife and I made it a point to dine at Buccan after seeing it consistently recommended on Yelp and by locals. After one meal here, it was easy to understand why it's considered one of the most sought-after restaurants in the area. The atmosphere is energetic and vibrant without feeling overly loud, and the service was polished, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the evening. The menu encourages sharing, which allowed us to sample a variety of dishes. We started with the lobster aquachile, which was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. The lobster was tender, and the bright citrus flavors paired perfectly with the avocado and vegetables. It was a refreshing and memorable way to begin the meal. Next came the beef empanada and pork taco. The empanada was rich and flavorful with perfectly cooked beef and a crisp exterior, while the pork taco packed an impressive amount of flavor into a single bite. Both were excellent examples of why Buccan has developed such a strong reputation for its small plates. One of the highlights of the evening was the squid ink orecchiette. The pasta was perfectly cooked and coated in a rich, savory sauce that brought everything together. It was one of those dishes that makes you immediately start planning your next visit. For a larger plate, I ordered the prime beef burger, which was outstanding. The beef was juicy and flavorful, the toppings were balanced, and the fries were perfectly crisp. It may seem unusual to order a burger at one of Palm Beach's most acclaimed restaurants, but this one absolutely deserves the attention it receives. What impressed me most about Buccan was the consistency across every dish. Nothing felt like an afterthought. From the creative seafood dishes to the comfort-food favorites, every plate was executed with care and attention to detail. Palm Beach has no shortage of excellent dining options, but Buccan stands out as a restaurant that successfully combines creativity, quality ingredients, and flawless execution. If you're visiting the area, this is a reservation worth making well in advance. Recommended: Lobster Aquachile, Beef Empanada, Pork Taco, Squid Ink Orecchiette, Prime Beef Burger, and don't skip the fries. One of the best meals we had during our trip.

I don't care if you are watching what you eat. Close your eyes! The chocolate cookies (warmed) are a must. Period. Selfishly, I hope Chef Clay never gets a tv show. A book deal is allowed. This dish is an absolute must if you're visiting La Goulue for the first time. We also ordered a cheese board which came with about 5 different cheeses, nuts, apples, purple grapes, and crunchy warm bread. We opted for version without salami. James recommended us to order a steak item that was NOT included on the normal menu. He told us it's recommended to order as medium rare. It came with string beans, grilled onions on top and potatoes au gratin. The food was so fresh and delicious!!! We ordered the chocolate mousse for dessert which was perfect as it was pretty light. We started with a Kir Royale, which was perfectly balanced, and appreciated the solid wine selection. For appetizers, we had the warm goat cheese salad, simply delicious. The goat cheese wrapped in crispy yucca was a standout and a unique, excellent combination. A quick note: the Wagyu burger comes with three sides, and the side portions are enormous, definitely enough to share. I personally prefer my burger well done, which can sometimes come across as overcooked, so that's something to keep in mind depending on your preference. For entrées, we also tried the filet mignon au poivre and the scallops with asparagus (the special of the day), both of which were well prepared and enjoyable. Overall, it's a place worth experiencing and one I would recommend.
