A business that is not self-evident as a nursery, I drove right past Heavenly Vintage Nursery. The fence did have lovely flowering vines and there were drought tolerant plants along the street, I was looking for a nursery and didn't connect my expectation to the actual business. It's more vintage than nursery. They have gobs of old things and old things holding plants. In all honesty, I was shocked at the limited plant offerings, they had a reasonable grouping of small succulents but I don't recall seeing normal nursery options. Rather scant selection of flowering plants and shrubs my mother in law picked up a wee succulent and the price was reasonable. A few items had prices. It was like a garage sale in that you had to ask about each item individually. I felt somewhat panicked at the chaotic layout and setting. I had a strong urge to leave. I'm sooo disappointed and will not return.

This magical family owned business is deserving of 100+stars. A truely wonderful nursery find for us in the OC. No place like it. Thier floral bouquets are so pretty too. I had them do my grandsons prom flowers and that order was perfect too.

I had a reservation at the Farmhouse restaurant, but arrived early and decided to explore a shop I noticed near the side entrance. The moment I stepped inside, it felt like being transported somewhere magical. The atmosphere alone is worth the visit. The boutique shops lean toward the high end, offering everything from home décor and art to unique jewelry. As you wander through, you're surrounded by lush greenery--the central garden and nursery are filled with a stunning variety of outdoor plants. Along one side, you'll find thoughtfully arranged merchandise, from seeds to greeting cards and gift packaging, with a charming pottery section tucked at the very end. Upstairs, there's a lovely deck featuring patio furniture and hanging plants, perfect for inspiration. The pathway leading to the restaurant is especially memorable, with a series of archways that add to the enchanting, almost storybook-like feel. It's also a peaceful haven for wildlife--I spotted sparrows, hummingbirds, and bumblebees throughout the space, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Parking is easy, with plenty of free spaces available. A beautiful spot to stroll, shop, and dine--all in one place.

I like coming here for my plants because they have a great store return/exchange policy. I also visit for any plant health related questions. I recently bought some lady bugs for my garden and they are thriving! My favorite part of coming here is for the succulents. The vairetals they have to offer on-site aren't the rarest but they are definitely the healthiest/happiest. Any and all of their Echevaria varietals grow really well. I bought English Lavender here about a year ago. It's doing very well. I bought a Fuschia here about few weeks ago and I left it in the scorching sun for too long. It's wilted pretty heavily but I got it into some nice morning sun. It's much happier. I'm thankful I had someone here I could talk to and figure out what I did wrong. The Newport Beach location is gorgeous! Just as helpful.

Needless to say I am turned off by broken promises made when purchasing shrubs and will look elsewhere for my trees/ plants. What a disappointment. *Update- just spare yourself the trouble and shop at the Newport Beach store down the way! Jennifer the manager there was more than accommodating and helpful! Ended up getting what I needed and will just go here for my plant/tree needs.

I never realized how nice this store is compared to the San Diego store until recently. My husband and I were in Orange County this past weekend and on a whim I told my husband I wanted to go to IKEA to get some ideas for shelving in our guestroom. What I love about this store is that it has its own parking lot; unlike San Diego where it needs to share parking with Lowe's and Costco, IKEA Costa Mesa has its own plot of land that isn't shared by any other store. Not only that, but everything is really well organized and despite the number of people in the store (basing this off how full the parking lot is), it doesn't feel crowded in this store. I feel like I can breathe here and not have to worry about being behind a slow couple or bumping into kids. The checkout area is busy but there are lanes with cashiers and self-check out. We were out the door in about an hour.

I'm not sure if it's the computer system or the people or both, but something is super inefficient here and it takes on average at least 10 minutes per customer.
