It is called that because of the shape of the 3 "berries" where they form a V shape and will turn black forming the ears and nose (Not edible) I think it is a plant from Vietnam. It is a hardy easy to grow that I have had over 3 years or more. Looking forward to going back to see what they have!

Emily's has a large collection of very healthy looking fruit bearing plants. I fell in love with the mango and peach trees. The issue is that very few plants were labeled. They had hundreds of options, so it was like a guessing game to figure out what we were looking at. There was also no pricing listed for the plants available. While I could look past the lack of labels, I was pretty underwhelmed by the customer service at this nursery. The two women onsite wanted nothing to do with us. They never approached us throughout our search, seemed irritated by our price inquiries, and even refused to make a card purchase for a smaller item - after telling us they accept both cash and card. I left a little irked, but luckily there are so many beautiful outdoor plant stores nearby. Wouldn't recommend visiting unless you're a plant expert that can decipher 300+ species of fruit trees with no labels.

A business that is not self-evident as a nursery, I drove right past Heavenly Vintage Nursery. The fence did have lovely flowering vines and there were drought tolerant plants along the street, I was looking for a nursery and didn't connect my expectation to the actual business. It's more vintage than nursery. They have gobs of old things and old things holding plants. In all honesty, I was shocked at the limited plant offerings, they had a reasonable grouping of small succulents but I don't recall seeing normal nursery options. Rather scant selection of flowering plants and shrubs my mother in law picked up a wee succulent and the price was reasonable. A few items had prices. It was like a garage sale in that you had to ask about each item individually. I felt somewhat panicked at the chaotic layout and setting. I had a strong urge to leave. I'm sooo disappointed and will not return.

This magical family owned business is deserving of 100+stars. A truely wonderful nursery find for us in the OC. No place like it. Thier floral bouquets are so pretty too. I had them do my grandsons prom flowers and that order was perfect too.

Once it was dark the lights came on which made the place look magical. We enjoyed all the food especially the grilled watermelon salad, the roast chicken and all the other dishes were all delicious. You can taste the freshness of the vegetables as it is a farm to table concept. There is free parking on site and try to come a bit earlier to browse the beautiful nursery. The service was impeccable, we had such a lovely evening.

I was really impressed by the size of the garden and how much there is to see. There's a nice variety of plants, flowers, lawn decor, and gardening items throughout so it's a great spot if you're actually looking to pick up something for your home or garden. Even if you're not a gardener, it's still enjoyable to walk around and browse. The grounds are nicely maintained and have a very peaceful, relaxing feel, making it a nice place to wander around without feeling rushed. There's also a restaurant attached to the garden. I didn't get a chance to try it during my visit, but the setting looked really nice and seemed like a pleasant environment to sit down and have a meal surrounded by all the greenery. One thing to keep in mind: bug repellent! With the small waterfalls, water features, and all the plants surrounding the area, there are definitely mosquitoes around. I didn't think much of it while walking through but I ended up coming home with a few mosquito bites.

I never realized how nice this store is compared to the San Diego store until recently. My husband and I were in Orange County this past weekend and on a whim I told my husband I wanted to go to IKEA to get some ideas for shelving in our guestroom. What I love about this store is that it has its own parking lot; unlike San Diego where it needs to share parking with Lowe's and Costco, IKEA Costa Mesa has its own plot of land that isn't shared by any other store. Not only that, but everything is really well organized and despite the number of people in the store (basing this off how full the parking lot is), it doesn't feel crowded in this store. I feel like I can breathe here and not have to worry about being behind a slow couple or bumping into kids. The checkout area is busy but there are lanes with cashiers and self-check out. We were out the door in about an hour.

"you didn't ask for no veggies!! this is what the meal comes with!!" so instead of making it right, she made a scene and tried to make me feel like i was an idiot. very unprofessional and extremely embarrassing. I was so shaken by this, i just sat my food down and walked away. i understand not enjoying your job, and internalizing these feelings if you're having a bad day, but to go out of your way to make a scene and try to make me feel bad was not acceptable.
