Love this nursery. Rebecca was very knowledgeable and so helpful in giving me advice for the plants I picked out. They have a huge selection of different varieties to choose from. Reasonably priced. You have to walk the land to see and find the hidden gems. This is going to be my go to place from now on.

THE BEST NURSERY IN OC! I am an un-biased beginner plant enthusiast and not only was the owner incredibly friendly and resourceful, but he offered incredibly fair (and cheap) prices on his acres of land filled with a diverse variety of amazing plants. This place is huge, with rows upon rows of plants from the typical to the rare, exotic and unique. Since he is not a wholesale retailer his prices are incredibly affordable (way cheaper than any store that sells plants). This place is a epic hidden gem that is a must-visit for anyone looking to buy plants, from your typical succulents to exotic vines, trees, flowers etc. Not only does the owner take the time to provide you with everything you need to know about each plant (including maintenance, blooming etc), he listens to your needs in terms of skill level, care/maintenance ability and recommends a variety of uniquely unparalleled plants based what you want and does not try to sell you anything other than what is most suitable to your needs. Since I am a total beginner when it comes to plants-I could have easily been taken advantage of, but that was NOT THE CASE AT ALL! I felt taken care of, well-informed and 100% satisfied with the level of high quality customer service and unbeatable prices! I am so glad I found this place and will be ONLY going here from here for all my plant/gardening needs! I highly recommend this hidden gem-that is incomparable to any nursery/plant retailer in Orange County, offering a limitless selection of diverse plants, affordable prices, and good old family-owned management!

This review is long overdue...We had the opportunity to visit Lisa and Rex at Monroe Pacific Nursery on August 20, 2022. It was such an amazing experience for the whole family. My son was interested in finding succulents that would thrive in our backyard. Lisa and Rex spent the entire time with us, showing us all their succulents. Rex shared his vast knowledge and expertise in horticulture, and provided us so much interesting and valuable information about each succulent, and how to take care of them. Lisa and Rex were so generous with their time. They were very friendly, kind, and thoughtful. They spoiled us by providing us such a wonderful experience. Not only did we have a great time visiting, our succulents are doing well and we couldn't be happier! Thank you Lisa and Rex for being such amazing hosts and providing us beautiful succulents and excellent customer service!!! We can't wait to come back!

Emily's has a large collection of very healthy looking fruit bearing plants. I fell in love with the mango and peach trees. The issue is that very few plants were labeled. They had hundreds of options, so it was like a guessing game to figure out what we were looking at. There was also no pricing listed for the plants available. While I could look past the lack of labels, I was pretty underwhelmed by the customer service at this nursery. The two women onsite wanted nothing to do with us. They never approached us throughout our search, seemed irritated by our price inquiries, and even refused to make a card purchase for a smaller item - after telling us they accept both cash and card. I left a little irked, but luckily there are so many beautiful outdoor plant stores nearby. Wouldn't recommend visiting unless you're a plant expert that can decipher 300+ species of fruit trees with no labels.

A business that is not self-evident as a nursery, I drove right past Heavenly Vintage Nursery. The fence did have lovely flowering vines and there were drought tolerant plants along the street, I was looking for a nursery and didn't connect my expectation to the actual business. It's more vintage than nursery. They have gobs of old things and old things holding plants. In all honesty, I was shocked at the limited plant offerings, they had a reasonable grouping of small succulents but I don't recall seeing normal nursery options. Rather scant selection of flowering plants and shrubs my mother in law picked up a wee succulent and the price was reasonable. A few items had prices. It was like a garage sale in that you had to ask about each item individually. I felt somewhat panicked at the chaotic layout and setting. I had a strong urge to leave. I'm sooo disappointed and will not return.

I never realized how nice this store is compared to the San Diego store until recently. My husband and I were in Orange County this past weekend and on a whim I told my husband I wanted to go to IKEA to get some ideas for shelving in our guestroom. What I love about this store is that it has its own parking lot; unlike San Diego where it needs to share parking with Lowe's and Costco, IKEA Costa Mesa has its own plot of land that isn't shared by any other store. Not only that, but everything is really well organized and despite the number of people in the store (basing this off how full the parking lot is), it doesn't feel crowded in this store. I feel like I can breathe here and not have to worry about being behind a slow couple or bumping into kids. The checkout area is busy but there are lanes with cashiers and self-check out.
