We arrived at 1:08 and it was closed. Around 1:13 we saw the lights come on and went inside. The bartender did tell us she had to do some things before we could order, so we sat down until she was ready. This is a bar with only drinks. They do have different martinis, but they also have a full service bar. The decor is very girly. It is a perfect place for pictures. The place is small and it did get busy. I love visiting Gruene whenever we're in Texas. Gruene Tini's is part of a newer village of restaurants, shops, etc. just before entering the historic town of Gruene. I have to tell you I really love this place. First off, it was a late-afternoon Saturday when we visited (5 pmish) and there was one bartender. The place was busy. Not packed but busy enough to need two bartenders. When you're getting a good craft cocktail, patience is key. Our bartender was incredible! She was friendly, informative, and efficient! She did the work of two effortlessly. Her drinks were a work of art and absolutely delicious. The prices were insane! $10-$13 a drink. I couldn't believe it! These drinks would easily be $15-$18 in Pittsburgh and even higher in NYC. Decor is cute and fun too. read more

They don't serve food here but they do have some pretzels apparently at the bar in a big jug. The drinks are very good. The bartenders are very friendly however, one or two parties being loud can be obnoxious. There's not a whole lot on the wall or the floors to absorb sound so it could be very very noisy. Especially if there's a bunch of drunk women at the table over from you. Don't ask me how I know. There are about five tables inside and two couches and some lounge/conversation chairs and a couple of seats at the bar. They also have a small outside patio. read more

Arrived here on a Saturday evening/night to try out this place for the first time. It was 6 of us ladies celebrating a birthday! We were the only customers in the establishment and happily ordered our first round of drinks - little did we know that this would be our first and only round of drinks.. One of the bartenders approached us saying that they were glad we were having a good time but we had a noise complaint from another customer that had later arrived. We closed out our tabs and left to take our business elsewhere. We will not be retuning. DO NOT come here laughing and ordering drinks to catch up with your friends. Apparently you have to keep your volume level at a whisper in this adult establishment even on a Saturday night! Yikes. read more

You had me at the name (Mar) Tini's. If you enjoy a craft martini's then this is the place for you. They offer everything from a Mexican Tini to a dessert chocolate martini. If you are a traditionalist there are options available as well. Our mixologist used fresh ingredients and served up 4 entirely different but wonderfully delicious cocktails. This venue is off the main drag in Gruene so you have to seek it out. There is a patio but we enjoyed the AC on a hot Saturday. Service is fabulous and each cocktail is made quickly and expertly. We finally made the stop to try this place out, as we've been wanting to for awhile. We were warmly greeted by Kelly the lone bartender that Saturday afternoon. She was super friendly, made great suggestions and had a friendly vibe to her. Her drinks she made for us were all absolutely amazing!! We ordered 5 different tinis, and every one was stellar!! From the pineapple upside down cake martini, Mexican martini, the Sub Zero martini and more!! I only got pics of first 2 though...... The atmosphere was a little too "chic" for me, however it fits the Martini bar expectation. The one negative is that they allow smoking on the patio. I love a good martini. I've patronized this establishment for years. Tonight I took my wife for a cocktail after a long day. Amanda, the bartender was pleasant when we placed our order. I was shocked when she mixed my classic martini & the pour didn't fill but a third of the glass. I asked about the short pour & she immediately proceeded to school me that it was a full pour. I wasn't in a mood for a fight so I took the drink & finished in 4 sips. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I vote with my feet. I will not be going back anytime soon. She spent most of her time chatting with what appeared to be her boyfriend. I understand now why the place had a paucity of customers. Dont wanste your time. The bartenders are complete aholes. We just celebrated my brother in laws wedding across the street and came in for some drinks and they completely ignored us. The place was half empty because it is so shitty. We got tired of being ignored and went across the street where the waitress and bartender were super helpful and happy to take our US Dollars. Owners are such sad and disrespectful people they claimed my review was spam and tried to "report" me. I expect better from owners. This is really disappointing. Especially in Texas where people generally respect the right to free speech. Your employees are horrible and to try and claim my honest review of your terrible business is spam is just sad.
