If you are in Columbus, especially by the airport, you must stop by this coffee shop, cafe, dessert spot. The food is great, but the service is even better. Everyone is so friendly and you will find the owners working in the store. This is a nice cozy location to hang out on a cold winter day. There is a full page drink menu, a great lunch/breakfast menu, and do not forget to save room for dessert. I will certainly stop back in the next time I find myself in Columbus.

Another Incredible experience here. Moved to Ohio three months ago and visiting this coffee shop is the first time I've finally felt "at home." This coffee shop has such a warm and cozy feeling and the staff is so kind it makes your heart melt a little. The decor and aesthetic is really nice here. The prices are beyond reasonable, and the quality of food and drink drinks is really great here as well. What really got me is they recognize me outside of my military uniform here on my second visit which is very rare. You absolutely have to try this place. It's just wonderful!

This place has been on my list to try for a while and I'm so glad I finally did When I first walked in, it was a warm, peaceful, relaxing environment. It's definitely a chill and read a book with your coffee kind of place. The vibes were cozy and they had a fall theme (of course for the season). They were very kind and friendly, I was greeted by the man up front. He was very personable, informative, helpful, and we had a good conversation. They made it very comfortable and they complimented my hoodie There was another girl I forgot her name, but she was kind, and so was his wife, the one who wrote the order and made my coffees. She also brought out everything to me when it was all done. I love that I could customize my sandwich how I wanted. I love a good croissant breakfast sandwich and the one I had here was the best I've ever had. Actually when I got home I was so happy because they also gave me fruit on the side with it and I wanted fruit too. I had meant to get a fruit cup there, so this was a very pleasant surprise!! The croissant... it was soo warm and soft and the sandwich was perfect and delicious. The sausage was perfect, they use turkey sausage which tastes better than pork, and I was able to get the egg how I wanted as well. And the watermelon was very fresh. I also got a mayo packet but I really didn't need it since the sandwich was great by itself. I had been stalking the website and photos for a while, and when I got there the menu was way bigger than I had seen, so I made sure to take pictures. Hopefully this will help show others the large variety they have. I had no idea they had pizza, hot dogs, gyros, I mean there's a lot. And he told me they test out the menus and I believe there is more coming. I told my grandma about the menu and she said we needed to come back for lunch which I was already going to be coming back very often just based on the experience. I knew before trying this place that it would be my spot, and I was right she is vegetarian so when I told her about the vegetarian menu she got excited. They also have a lot of pastries and yummy stuff in the front that I'll need to try. I also got the iced Milky Way (mocha with caramel) and got my grandma an iced Chai. She really liked hers and I loved my mocha, it was perfect and looked so neat when the lady brought it out. Anyway, all that to say 10/10 all around for the vibe, experience, and food and I'll definitely be back it will be tempting since I pass by here every day after work. AND need to try that beef patty...

Today was my first time visiting this cafe. I attended a Meetup at that location. We arrived a few minutes before they opened. Upon entering the decor and atmosphere were very charming. There are a few rows of tables before the counter. I ordered Just the Two of Us, which is a vanilla latte. This drink was very sweet and very pleasant to drink. If you like coffee, an extra shot of espresso is recommended. I also got a regular coffee and banana muffin to go. The coffee was smooth, with no bitterness or sourness. I just added a little milk at home. The muffin was also good. Service was also great. The owner and his wife were working when we arrived. Both were very welcoming. The owner provided some details on their coffee. I need to return for some of their other food and drink offerings. I highly recommend others visit this place.

Update: still great. Menu keeps expanding, and there are daily specials. I've tried just about everything and it's all been good. I especially like the Secret Garden (raspberry mocha,) the sweet potato pie, and the huevos Mexicanos. Parking is better- a few street spots, but now also the lot next door (fenced in, beside the cafe.) I also noticed the bike path comes very close to here. Be careful on the short stretch of Sunbury, though; don't ride in at rush hour. There are two rooms off to the side for meetings or parties. Same classy, soothing decor as the cafe part.

you can't go wrong having breakfast here. Delicious espresso from Kenya and a mouthwatering croissant. The owners of this café have amazing stories from the civil rights movement in Columbus. I was surrounded by great coffee, amazing stories and good vibes.

G's Shepard is a nice little hidden gem. The cafe is pretty small but it is cozy and inviting. The staff was super friendly. We ordered drinks for carry out but enjoyed sitting in the cafe while waiting. We tried the iced In the Mood and a hot Buckeye. Both drinks were good. We also tried a cinnamon roll which turned out to be a raspberry roll. It was served warm and tasted pretty good. Overall this is a nice spot if you're in the area, they have a decent menu with standard breakfast offerings. Everything that came out looked really delicious. On a Saturday it's kind of busy so expect to wait a bit for food and drinks.

First time getting to stop by and I'm so glad that I did! The frozen coffee was delicious and well blended! The lemon cake was tasty! The service was excellent and fast. The ambiance was welcoming and bright. I felt like I had arrived at a coffee shop on an island! Can't wait to get back to try other coffee and food from the menu.

What a cute hidden gem. The women working were so friendly, there is plenty of seating and soft music, and the prices are very reasonable. The cappuccino is good quality espresso, and the burrito was hot and fresh.

On our way to ODU, we stopped to pick up a coffee and decided to try their Brandeis breakfast burrito as well. Fresh ingredients, hot and tasty. Cappuccino was tasty not needing to add sugar. What a cute coffee shop and greeted as soon as we walked in.

Kind, personable, and genuinely warm exactly the kind of energy that makes a meal feel like more than just a meal. If you've seen The Menu, you know that scene where all anyone really wants is just a perfect, unpretentious burger done right. Thurman's is exactly that. The burger was everything it needed to be no gimmicks, no shortcuts, just a beautifully made sandwich that delivers on every level. The fries? Equally on point. Honestly, I have no notes. None. This is the kind of place that reminds you why simple food, done exceptionally well, will always win. If you haven't been, go. If you have, you already know.

The beauty of a Saturday afternoon is there were sports on and TVs hanging on the walls. That made the wait easy. Boy do they know their stuff bc it was pretty much one hour to the minute when they called our name and escorted us to our table. We sat in a booth and took in on the collection of various items around the bar that have been gathered through the years and had some laughs at some of it. It was almost like a fun game of eye spy! They came to take our drink order and by the time they returned we were ready to order. We chatted for a bit and our food came out in what seemed to be a good time. I ordered the Patty Melt with onion straws. My husband got the Thurman Burger. We were surprised by its size when they came carrying it out to our table. Believe it or not he ate every single bite. Said it was delicious. Mine was equally as delicious. Maybe not quite as big but that was fine by me. I actually quite enjoyed that they served the 1000 island on the side. It made it way easier to eat. The cheese was nice and gooey. Just perfect. The onion straws were good too. I shared those with my husband. They were actually just as good on their own as they were dipped in any kind of sauce. That's big coming from me bc I love dipping! We got a box for our leftovers and headed out happy with a great first time experience here.

Wanting wings, I ordered the Garlic Parmesan and tots. They offer grilled or fried and I thought I ordered fried but these tasted more like grilled. I was wanting that fried crunch but got more of a well cooked bite with a creamy garlic white sauce, then sprinkled with Parmesan. It was still good but when you're expecting crunch, it's slightly disappointing. Still a good wing but I wouldn't put it in the top 5. The tots, now they made up for the crunch. The Blue Cheese was exactly what I like, sweeter with a little funk. Maybe I should've specified fried. Wings are an indulgence to me. I don't want the healthy version. I want that crunchy-Lipitor sponsored-defibrillator on stand by-I can see my blood flowing-We'll start the diet Monday goodness that only a perfectly fried wing can offer. Still good tho.

No exaggeration, this was one of the best chicken Parmesans I've ever had, and that includes versions from legit Italian restaurants. The chicken cutlet was super crispy and perfectly seasoned, with a coating that was flavorful and satisfying without being too heavy. The portion size was just right, not too big, not too small. I appreciated that the mozzarella on top was fresh and sliced, not the usual shredded kind. The sauces (yes, plural!) were rich and full of flavor, tying everything together beautifully. The only thing I think it was missing? Some garlic bread of some sort to go with it. That would've made it perfect. But honestly, it was still a fantastic dish on its own. Highly recommend giving it a try if you're anywhere near East Market. I'm already looking forward to going back and seeing what else is good on their menu.

So I asked do you mean you can't seat us until 5? And he said no, that we need to leave by then because other people are coming. I thought that was very weird and unprofessional. I've never had an experience like that before. It's a basic sit down place, why would you think we'd linger for more than an hour and a half? Whatever, weird feeling, but we were seated. Seated in the walkway. Not like in a path but literally blocking the walkway where you step down. Why do I say this? Because people walking by kept banging into me. Not their fault. Why is there a table there? And why were we seated there when at least 80% of the restaurant was empty???? Ok whatever. Ordered food including their signature made in-house tots. Waitress comes back and says they were slammed in the morning and they're out of tots. (Man I feel bad for the people coming at 5. LOL) whatever except the people at the next table appeared to be served tots. Food was tasteless. The Mac and cheese had a weird texture like the roux wasn't cooked properly. My patty melt was mostly bread as the patty was too small for the bread. My husband had the signature chimi burger and it completely lacked any chimichurri flavor. Like at all. We were out by 4ish (plenty of time for them to prepare for their expected onslaught) and needless to say I've unbookmarked this place from my yelp.
