Calling the Toyota of Morristown main phone number was a different experience. After 28 (yes, I counted them) "We appreciate your patience. Please continue to hold for the next available representative" every 20 some seconds I hung up and called the service department directly. That went better.

Dropped off the car at Service, and everyone was nice and said it would be ready in no time. Great! New SUV was picked out. But, the oil change was taking long, excessively long, despite my appointment. I asked the manager why the oil change was taking three hours, and she claimed they may have been backed up. But that didn't explain why every person who came after me had long left. She tried to cover by saying that they could be here for a quicker service, but there isn't much substantively quicker than an oil change. I just think they're really disorganized in Service, and have no grasp about cars that may have been sitting around a long time. Then I was reminded about how every six months for routine service there is always some issue like this, sometimes worse. So why do I keep patronizing this place? I messaged sales to say HOLD on the new purchase. I called around and will purchase elsewhere today.

Diana Lynn turned my dream car into a reality and raised the bar higher than I thought possible…read more Let me start from the very beginning. I called Diana on a Friday. Just a random Friday afternoon. I asked if she had the specific Z4 I had been dreaming about for months. I expected a polite "let me check" and maybe a call back sometime next week. That is not what happened. Diana went into action immediately. Right there on that Friday phone call, she started moving pieces, checking availability, and making things happen. She did not hesitate. She did not put me on hold forever. She just got to work. Before we even hung up, she took my deposit for my dream car. That moment was when I knew she was different. From that first call, Diana made it clear this was not just a transaction. It was an event. She didn't just help me get my dream car. She made me feel like I deserved it. Every step of the way, she stayed in constant contact. Not the kind of automated, impersonal updates you expect from most dealers. Real, thoughtful communication that made me feel like I was her only customer. I especially loved that she facetimed me to show me that beautiful San Francisco Red Z4 in the show room! What truly set Diana apart was her communication. She reached out to me regularly, always with a warm and genuine tone. She kept me informed about every detail, from order confirmation to production updates to delivery coordination. There was never a moment where I felt left in the dark or uncertain. In fact, I started looking forward to her messages because she made the whole journey feel like we were in it together. She sent me photos, vidoes and was doing so unprompted! And the friendliness. I cannot say enough about how incredibly kind and approachable she was. There was no pressure, no hard sell, no corporate stiffness. Just a real person who clearly loves what she does and genuinely wanted to help me. She celebrated with me when things moved forward. She reassured me when I had questions. She made something that can often feel stressful feel effortless and joyful. Now, here is the part that really shows you how far Diana is willing to go. I live in the South. The car was shipped all the way from New Jersey to me. That could have been a nightmare. Delays, miscommunication, hidden fees, damage in transit. I have heard so many horror stories. But Diana handled everything. She coordinated the shipping, stayed on top of the logistics, and made sure the car arrived in absolutely perfect condition. When that truck pulled up and I saw my 2026 Z4 for the first time, it was flawless. Exactly as promised. Not a single scratch, not a single hiccup. She even called me while the transport company was arriving in Jersey to ensure I knew it was loaded carefully! That is what I mean when I say Diana takes service to the next level. She does not just sell you a car and move on to the next customer. She owns the entire experience from start to finish. She treats your excitement and your investment with genuine respect. She goes beyond what is expected and makes sure that no matter where you live, you feel like a VIP. Because of Diana, I have made a decision that even surprises me. I will no longer use my local dealer, even though they are twenty minutes away and I have bought two cars from them. Instead, I will work with Diana every single time from now on. Even if that means shipping every future car from New Jersey to the South again. That is how much trust she has earned. That is how powerful a great experience can be. Diana Lynn reminded me that buying a car can be special. It can be an event. It can feel like a celebration rather than a chore. She treated me like a person, not a commission. And in an industry where that kind of authenticity is rare, she shines brighter than anyone I have ever worked with. If you are looking for a BMW and exceptional service, do yourself a favor. Call Diana on a Friday. Or a Monday. Or any day of the week. She will spring into action like she did for me. She will take your deposit and make your dream real. Drive to her. Ship from across the country if you have to. She will make you feel the way every customer should feel when they are about to drive off in their dream car. Excited. Valued. And truly taken care of. Thank you, Diana. You have earned a customer for life. And you have completely changed my standard for what great service looks like.

Great deal all down the drain because of a nasty interaction from the Sales Manager, Omar…read more I had seen a car online and had talked to Marc over the phone about the car. I made it clear I was specifically shopping for a car for a family member and would be flying in from Vegas specifically for this. Coming in after a long red eye flight, Marc the Sales Manager greeted me and my family well with open arms. They had the car all ready to go. We were then referred to Max, one of the sales reps, who was also very nice and patient. Nothing of note during the test drive, but my relative was not exactly feeling the car. We go around, test drive other models in their lot. Again, we couldn't be more appreciative of Max and Marc through out the process since my relative wanted to be as educated as possible before making a decision. A car is finally decided on by 2p thereabouts. A credit app was filled and pulled, and Max had notified us it would be some time to get the car ready to be delivered and the paperwork to be printed and signed. A great time to grab some food and recharge. By the time we come back, it's about 315p and time to call insurance, except the insurance company my relative deals with closes by 3p. Not great, but outside of our control. By 5p, we had exhausted all options to pick up the car since insurance couldn't be bound on the car. Marc had then sat us down with the paperwork. Going over the aforementioned deal and the numbers agreed upon, going over the financing numbers, and honestly being quite patient. My relatives then go into the finance office to again go over the numbers and the agreement. The finance manager understood my relatives concern of not signing until delivery of the car, he even went as far as assuring all the paperwork will still be there on Monday (since this deal is being done on Sat 2/28/25) and no deposit is necessary since credit was already pulled and filed with BMW Financial. All is well, we are about to leave, a bit disappointed we could not leave with the car, but we know we would have it shortly after the weekend. Just when we were about to leave and talking to Marc, big honcho comes by, I believe by the name of Omar. 540p mind you, 20 minutes before the dealership closes. He overhears my relatives and hears there is no deposit being made to "hold" the car. We made it very clear we would be back to Marc, Max and the finance manager by the next business day, Monday. He explains it is his policy to have a deposit made or else no deal. This is the FIRST of 6 times I have ever heard of this within the Open Road group (we purchased and referred quite a few people). I would understand a deposit if there is no guaranteed commitment such as somebody saying they like the price and "will be back," totally understandable. In our situation, a HARD CREDIT pull was made, numbers agreed upon, insurance policy in process, everything to show commitment to purchase the car. My relatives offered a $500 deposit to "hold" the car, and they were scoffed at. The manager said it must be AT LEAST 10% to make it worth his while and even blaming us for taking up Max's whole day entertaining us. Never have I ever been blamed to take up a sales reps time to DO THEIR JOB. Max frankly didn't seem to mind to take the time, even Marc didn't mind to make sure we were comfortable and not pressured, so I'm not too certain why that would be placed against us when all we want to do is go home and come back the following business day to pick up the car. The worst part was this manager was so disrespectful, he didn't only disrespect us, basically saying we are not trustworthy in coming back to sign and close the deal, but he disrespected Marc as well! Marc saw the conversation was escalating, and before he could even speak to deescalate and explain, this sales manager pointed his finger at him and said, "No Marc you do not speak for me!" Sir, I honestly feel bad for you if you feel like you "own" the dealership and can treat your colleagues in such a disrespectful manner. You just ruined a GUARANTEED SALE.

A sincere thank you to Jackie and the Mavis Discount Tire…read moreteam I want to take a moment to sincerely thank Jackie and the mechanics at Mavis Discount Tire in Morristown for going above and beyond when I brought my car in to be serviced. My regular mechanic was on vacation, so I decided to bring the car to Mavis because I wanted to make sure everything was checked, especially after noticing a coolant leak and an issue with the temperature gauge. What they found was a leak involving the radiator. If I had continued driving the car without addressing the problem, it could have led to serious engine damage and potentially left me without a car. I'd had some bad experiences with Mavis at other company-owned and franchised locations. I'm knowledgeable enough about tires and auto repairs and have dealt with enough tire and automotive repair shops over the years to know when I'm being taken advantage of and upsold with a laundry list of 'urgent' repairs, but the crew at the Mavis Discount Tire in Morristown has won me over with their efficiency, honesty, and fair pricing. I recently bought tires for my SUV on the tire manufacturer's website and was able to book an appointment for installation at Mavis Discount Tire. The service at Mavis Discount Tire was efficient and straightforward. They honored my appointment, which isn't always a given, and got me back on the road in about 2 hours, which was pretty good for a Sunday morning. They didn't try to upsell me with any unnecessary add-ons. They gave me a fair price and a realistic timeline and actually stuck to both. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the waiting area could be improved with complementary beverages for customers and the bathroom was out of order, but I'm here for tires and basic auto repairs, not for bad coffee or to use the bathroom. I'll definitely be back next time I need tires or other auto repairs. PRO TIP: Walk down to Dunkin (59-61 Morris St) while waiting for your vehicle for tasty hot and iced beverages and fresh baked goods along with free WiFi and a functional bathroom.
