Terrible customer service. The woman on the phone did not know what she was talking about and was rude!

I don't recommend. They sent the ugliest and weirdest limo. it was like a Ford Explorer had been turned into a limo. i has specifically asked for a car, so I was upset to get an SUV, and then to get a crappy SUV...it ruined many wedding day photos. then the driver was "B Team" quality, he insisted his tip wasn't incl. in the price. I will note that they have resolved the tip issue, but it still happened. I've rented from Crown Limo before, which is really only very, very slightly more expensive if at all, and I can tell you I'll be a loyal Crown customer from now on. read more

We engaged GTS Charter for the first time, using one of their buses to transport a group from downtown Los Angeles to Costa Mesa and back. We could not have been happier with the service. The driver, Daniel, was on time, quite friendly, and a very safe driver. The coach was immaculately clean. We will certainly use GTS in the future when the need arises. read more

I hired GTS to shuttle guests from a parking area to a party my non-profit organization held on 6/23/12. Everything went well except for one thing: the shuttle disappeared for about 20 minutes at one point, leaving our guests stranded in the parking area. When we called the driver to complain, she said she was on a bathroom break (but we had bathrooms at the event that she knew she was welcome to use -- and she wasn't there). After the event, I called GTS to complain about the incident and not only would they not apologize to me, but they were extremely defensive and interrupted me constantly. read more

I hired two 28-passenger shuttles from GTS for my August 2012 wedding. I really wanted to give GTS a higher review and would give them five stars for overall service. I did 90% of my communication with them via email and always received a timely response. The one time I had to call to ensure my payment was received I was also helped very quickly and politely. Where I had to take off some stars is due to the day of service of one of the shuttle drivers we ended up with. The first driver, Felicia, was AMAZING. She was on time, professional, super friendly, and knew the route from point A to point B. The second driver, Leo, did not live up to Felicia's or any paying customer's standard. He didn't know his route (it was a very direct route from hotel to wedding venue) and had to circle several times with guests before dropping them off. Moreover, he failed to follow the directions given to him by my day-of-coordinator to check in with her before leaving the venue with guests on the return trips at the end of the evening. He also dismissed himself from providing service at the end of the evening prior to the end of my contracted hours and again without checking in with my coordinator. When I found out about all of this the day after the wedding I was certainly upset. I filed a complaint with GTS and was immediately granted a refund for the two hours of service that Leo failed to provide me and my guests. Leo, if you're reading this, do yourself some kharmic-goodwill and refund the additional tip I provided you outside of my contracted time. I know GTS can't require you to give that back to me but you really should because you certainly did not earn it and we unfortunately thought providing it to you early on before the driving got busy was easier than waiting... guess not. And for everyone else looking to book, I still recommend GTS overall but please ask to not have Leo as one of your drivers. read more

So after writing my original review - I received a call from the "real" manager Simon. Apparently he was unaware of the issue and was concerned about my dissatisfaction and my review. I explained what happened to him and he asked me why I didn't ask to speak with the manager - I did! But I guess the people working there decided to go rogue and never passed me onto him. Anyway Simon was very nice and apologetic and said that he would refund my deposit. I appreciated his call and wish I didn't have to write a bad review to get the service I should have gotten in the beginning. I think they will do better in the future :) read more

This was first time using GTS and the services was perfect. Arriving from and international flight on LAX can take some time to go through customs, and with a group of 22, you never know how long it will take. But he was ready to pick us up once we notified him that we were ready to board. I am going to use them again for the return trip to the airport and highly recommend them. We used GTS for our rehearsal dinner. Booking was very easy and the team is extremely responsive. We originally asked for a 55 passenger bus and got an e-mail the day before saying they would have to send us to smaller buses (holding more people total). This actually worked out perfectly for our group. We got the driver details the day before which was good. The drivers arrived early to the hotel for pick up and the night went smoothly from there. We used GTS for our wedding, to get our guests from the hotel by the beach to the church in Santa Monica and back to the reception at the hotel. They were on time, the bus was clean, and the driver was both friendly and professional. The bus looked new, and saved everyone a lot of hassle trying to find parking. People were also happy about the AC, it was about 80 degrees and everyone was excited to be able to stay cool in their tuxes and gowns. My wife and I agree GTS did a great job all around! read more

Had a really great experience with GTS and their driver Alfredo for our wedding. We had a venue with limited parking so we had everyone park down the hill a bit and take a 14-seater van up to the ceremony (and back to their cars later). We we're extremely disappointed with GTS! We received terrible service after one bus did not even show up for our guests to transport them to our wedding! Following the no-show, we then followed up countless times requesting to have a supervisor call us to discuss and the length of time that the issue went unanswered was completely unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. As a corporate event planner my experience with GTS began with confidence. Leading up to our event, the GTS routing coordinator and office manager were responsive and professional. Fortunately the evening event transportation for three evenings was timely and professional. Unfortunately the airport pick-ups and returns for our group of approximately 100 guests was lacking. The advised van coverage and scheduling was insufficient. This resulted in stressful situations and several guests having to grab cabs at additional expense. In attempts to resolve our concerns, the response was "the traffic was heavier then expected." It's L.A., there is always traffic. This should have been anticipated in the schedule. No compensation or credit was offered and several emails ignored. Bottom line; good company for large bus, one time, one location transport. I would not recommend GTS for large group airport transport. Planners Be Warned read more

Out of five or six companies I contacted regarding a quote for bus rental GTS charter was one of the only companies that responded, they also replied to all my questions quickly and their quote was the lowest offer. The bus was on time and clean and in great condition. I was very satisfied with the service, and if I ever need another bus rental I would go with GTS Charter. read more

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU NEED ANY RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had 5 shuttles picking up our guests at the Hyatt Westlake taking them to our wedding 25 minutes away at Saddlerock Ranch. Firstly, one of the shuttles from the start was broken down and they had to send a replacement. That wasn't alarming as there was already a replacement shuttle sent. However- one of the shuttles did not have ANY air conditioning!!!! THis is September in LA- about 95 outside, and NO AC for my guests. Then, the last of the shuttles broke down! My ceremony was about to start and I learned that one of the shuttles broke down!!!!!!! My guests were stranded on the side of the road in the 98 degree heat walking towards the venue. Luckily, another guest took their suburban and shoved everyone in the back. People were riding on the side of the car- and my grandmother of 85 was in the shuttle that broke down. My wedding was delayed about 45 minutes, therefore we went overtime on our shuttles. I had to beg them for not charging us the overtime given the situation- and even that was tough to get from them! I asked if we could at least be credited $175 for one of the shuttles since we used it an additional 1.5 hours for the wedding party drop off and they didn't respond. I talked with them live and they did not care. Jeannette Chavez and Carlos are AWFUL. This company has TERRRRRRRIBLE customer service. They are also completely unorganized as they email and call you several times saying they never received your paperwork. From beginning to end- this company was awful to deal with, very unorganized, and very unreliable. Again, if you are looking for RELIABLE transportation (which I assume you are :) ) DON'T use GTS! read more

I was arranging transportation for wedding party for the rehearsal, then another location for dinner, and then back to their hotel. I decided to go with GTS and am so glad I did. The communication with Jeanette Chavez was impeccable and so important to me. The cost was reasonable and it was an easy process. We had Derrick as our driver and were given his phone number so we were able to communicate with him as we'll. the 32 passenger mini van was impeccable, just as promised. We used GTS to shuttle guests to/from our wedding in Topanga Canyon. The entire process was easy and everyone we dealt with was helpful and professional. They also provided the best rates of any charter service we contacted (which was A LOT). I didn't get to speak with the drivers much, but several of our guests came up to us and said how wonderful they were! We hired GTS charter to transport guests for our daughter's wedding from the Woodland Hills Hilton where they were staying, to the Inn of the Seventh Ray where the wedding was held, and I can't praise this company enough. As we live on the east coast and the wedding was on the west coast, it was important to us to have people we could trust and feel comfortable with and GTS provided both. Lawana and Jennifer, my two contacts there, were awesome. All contact is done via email. Over the months, I emailed them frequently while figuring out the number of vans we would need and the times for pick up at the hotel and drop- off back at the hotel after the wedding. Either Jennifer or Lawana would reply to my query within minutes. I don't think I ever waited more than 30 minutes for a reply, but most of the time it was even sooner. They were just a delight to work with. What I also appreciated was receiving the names, cell phone numbers and bus numbers of our drivers, the day before the wedding. Our drivers were Alfredo an George, and they were fantastic. Both men were warm, friendly and very professional and kept me informed as needed during the evening of the wedding. Indeed, one of our guests arrived to the hotel pick-up spot late after the rest of the guests had already departed for the wedding, and George picked them up and made sure they arrived for the ceremony on time. First off, the only reason I'm giving them one star is because there's nothing less! We contracted with GTS over 6 months before our daughter's wedding and, up until the actual wedding day, all was a go. Then, A HALF HOUR before the shuttle bus was supposed to arrive to begin transporting our wedding guests from the hotel to the venue, the company called to say the driver was stuck on the 405 freeway in traffic. Mind you, the 405 is at LEAST an hour away from the hotel in GOOD traffic, which is rare in Los Angeles! Then, 15 minutes later he changed his story to say the driver was in Santa Monica on PCH, which happens to be right where the company is located...hmmmm!! So, less than an hour before our daughter's wedding was to begin, we had no way of getting guests from the hotel to the venue...disaster!!! My point is, you have a company in Los Angeles, you know what traffic and construction is like on a daily basis, and you don't allow for that??? Then as soon as you know the bus is going to be running late, you offer to send a smaller or larger bus or two, or SOMETHING!!! But they just told us the bus was stuck in traffic and there was nothing they could do. And, on top of all this, it took almost 2 weeks to get our refund and that was only after I called them 3 times to request that it be expedited! If you need transportation for a wedding, I STRONGLY recommend you find someone else! read more
