    Clam chowder
    Amy P.

Came here for lunch on a Saturday and it was busy mid afternoon. Ordered at the counter and picked it up when it was ready. Got raw totten oysters from Washington which were good. Also got the clam chowder in a bread bowl which I felt was on the bland side, but I'm from New England and am very particular about my chowder. Friends got fish tacos and calamari which were fine. Service was pretty fast and ambiance was ok with indoor and outdoor seating. Reasonable prices. Decent sized parking lot.

Super friendly and fast service! You order at the counter and then grab any available bench seating, it was a nice casual vibe with music to hang with friends. Food was good, the fried prawn tacos were fried so well with a slight crunch in the bite. Sauce and toppings were great as well. When I got to my fish taco, however, it got a bit soggy and not as tasty. Perhaps I should have switched the order of which one to eat first

    Crab Louie and crab melt

I was so excited to try this restaurant when we came to town. Restaurant was packed and there was a line to order, but they still produced the food very quickly. My husband ordered the crab melt and I ordered the crab Louie salad. Neither my husband or I were crazy about our food, but ingredients were fresh and tasteful and there was a ton of crab on both! We would definitely return and order something different :)

Solid spot for fried seafood! The shoestring fries here are AMAZING! Also loved the fish tacos and green sauce they had. The breading for the calamari was not great. Service is efficient, they quoted us about a 45 minute wait for our food on a busy holiday weekend but our food came quicker. You order at the counter then grab a table indoors or outdoors. Plenty of parking and restroom on site for customers, they accept apple pay and have wifi as well.

One of the gems in the small town of Gualala. It was very easy to order online for pick-up. We ordered for 10+ people and the food was ready after only about 30 minutes of wait (faster than your average Doordash wait time). When we picked up the food, they have limited seatings and the place is packed. This seems to be quite the town's favorite spot for a quick meal. The fish and chips were delicious. Crispy, flavorful - enjoyed it a lot!

Clam chowder. Tasteless but lots of clams.

Really minuscule portions of the actual seafood. Like four shrimp on a taco and the sandwich. Clam chowder had no flavor. Seemed like it wasn't made with real cream though it had lots of clams. I never add salt to food and had to. But the good thing was the fried fish slider. The rest of the food was mediocre.

Bomb clam chowder. Got it to go. Kick it up a notch by toasting up the bread bowl and pairing w/ a good local beer.

Yes we were lucky to get a seat at the picnic table. The fish and chips were great. Parking was limited so get there early.

Great place to stop for lunch. The rock fish burrito was very tasty! Nice break from a few hours on the motorcycle.

It gave me the trots but tasted okay. The place could have been cleaner. The consist of the grilled fish burrito was kinda mushy.

What a delightful market this is, a must stop during any road trip up this way. You can get nearly anything you'd ever need from toothpaste, milk, cheese, chips, detergent, on and on... they even have two gas pumps. They sell ice too. There's a small cafe serving incredibly good things, including hand made sandwiches (we had a 'Rocketman' and an 'Architect'... being an Architect I loved being so honored!). Both sandwiches were utterly fresh, delicious and tasty. They have several specialty type sandwiches, as were these two, or you may customize one. They sell coffees and other drinks too. There's a bar type set up and a cozy back area for sitting to eat, plus some outdoor places too. The store is simple, rustic but ever so comfortable, organized and clean. The people working here are upbeat and friendly and you feel so welcomed, and utterly pleased you came in to get something. Great place for a drink, snack or basic groceries and product. Do stop in and check it out!

In addition to a few inside tables, they also offer some outdoor seating with ocean views. Their portions are generous and a simple veggie sandwich is stacked with fresh produce. Once in a while they also offer some hearty Mac n Cheese. If you're up that way in the morning, there's also some breakfast sandwiches and various coffees. Staff is very nice and food is made quick. It's a popular and convenient stop along the coast just north of Fort Ross State Park, before you hit Timber Cove and Salt Point. I always make a point to stop here when traveling this lovely stretch of Hwy 1.

After a morning of canoeing Big River, we stopped in for lunch. The Harvest Burger, tuna melt, Reuben, and Chipotle Chicken Sandwich were all incredible. This time we tried the Philly cheesesteak, BBQ chicken sandwiches, and I couldn't resist getting the Chipotle Chicken again--it was just that good! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The service was friendly, the portions were great, and it's exactly the kind of small local spot that makes a trip memorable.
