I had called probably 2 months prior to our arrival at our home in Dunedin. They told me the tech would text me 30 mins prior to arrival and my window was 8am-11am. I received a text from Angel around 9am and he and the other tech were at our place in 25 minutes. So far so good. I showed/explained our unit and Angel began a pretty intense inspection of our ducts/system with pictures. He advised the condition and what he thought would be a good plan. He didn't pressure or try to upsell anything, just advice. I believe if we went with the standard straight forward duct cleaning he would have performed it in the same manner. We chose deep clean and sanitization as our vents did have construction debris (YUP) way down the line as well as other things we saw in the pictures that we felt should be done fully and sanitized as well. They were extremely efficient and you didn't know they were there other than the hum of their tools. Start to finish took maybe 90-120 minutes and he showed after pics of each vent/return. At the end he gave us advice on our filter, pointed out an air gap from the installation that I took care of as well as pointing out that our outdoor unit MAY have a fan issue. Called our a/c guy and it certainly did!!!! We will DEFINITELY use them for future cleanings.

They did respond to the review stating that someone would be following up within 48 hours but that never happened either. They were very unprofessional and I would not recommend them.

We called out an AC / "Vent Cleaning" service who's tech "cleaned" the vent but spent the majority of the time trying to sell more services. Turns out the light came back on about 6 months later (for a service that should be annual). This time, we called VentSmart. Dryer vents are ALL they do. One price for a vent on the side of the house, another if the dryer vents to the roof. Wayne was super friendly and pleasant. He dispatched Chris in short order. Chris was even friendlier and worked hard to get the job done right. That first "Vent Cleaning" service never checked the roof, just "cleaned" from our air-conditioned laundry room. Chris got up there and removed a HUGE chunk of lint (attached pic), then high-speed brushed from top AND bottom. There was no BS, no trying to sell other services, no surprises with the cost. Just thoroughly cleaned the house vent, the vent in the dryer, and all around the dryer seals. Then cleaned up everything behind him. Professional, super nice, and a very reasonable price. I didn't talk much with the other girls that were here for only a little while, but no complaints. Brandon helped coordinate his team and coordinate with my mold remediation company that was working with us, and get the quote to reflect exactly what needed to be done. He was easily reachable and very responsive. It helps that I had his cell phone number from my mold remediation company but still... super helpful. My vents and ducts are clean, sanitized and encapsulated with paint now and they did a good job of cleaning up afterwards. They also did a good job of protecting my house from their hoses and covering everything. They showed me before and after pictures which definitely helped me see what was done inside. There wasn't any laziness and everyone seemed to be working as a team to get everything done. There was no drama and no confusion. They were happy to take my direction on where to start and how to maneuver around another contractor that needed to work in the house at the same time. I was especially appreciative of a few things: 1.) that Real Duct made it go right to get the team there on such short notice because we discovered a problem that needed to be handled before my AC was reinstalled. 2.) that Monica and Edgar stayed late (on a Friday night no less) to complete the job, and 3.) how helpful they were at the end of the job. Specifically, I had some extra questions for them and they took the time to make sure I got answered and they showed me what I needed to see without brushing me off. I also asked them for advice to see that my coils that another company cleaned was done properly and they happily inspected it and gave it an extra cleaning just to make me feel better and assured me the job was done well, and left me with some cleaning solution to clean anything I wanted at no extra charge. Those little things didn't take long but they were tired after a long day and despite all of that they were just so happy to help that it was that extra special touch that made you feel cared for. Even though there Monica didn't speak completely fluent English it was not a problem in any way - she had care and intention to get her ideas across and I was able to easily communicate with her and she listened well. Also, Monica said she can come back next week and clean the last vent that wasn't done once the laundry room containment is removed from my mold remediation because it was covered in plastic and gave me her number so I could coordinate with her directly. Also, I will say that Brian who came out to give me a quote in the first place was very helpful and friendly. He showed me pictures with his handy gadget of what was inside of my AC ducts so it could be handled. Also, I will say once I got my quote from them, Ariana who works are their front desk was a beast calling me every day! I didn't even answer her for about a week but she called almost every day and left a message for me and didn't let me get off her radar. Incredible follow up and persistence and once I was ready to get rolling, she was very easy to talk to and work with and she helped me get the quotes and coordinate with the teams that were going. So, in short I was the service was solid and I feel like they have a great group of coordinated friendly professionals. Wow, I am still writing this review! I guess I liked the service lol.
