Disclaimer: I know the owner of Guardian. Good guy, good family, all that...but that's not why I'm posting a 5 star review for his business. Below is a true story. Rich, the owner of Guardian, used to work for Casteel. While he worked there, I had issues with both of the HVAC units at my house. I called him up to see if he could get me a deal on new units so he swallowed his commission and Casteel installed two new Trane high efficiency units at my house. Fast forward 3-4 years and I call Rich up, now owner-operator of Guardian, to come figure out why my upstairs Trane unit stopped working. He comes over and, after about 30 minutes of troubleshooting, calls out two parts that needed to be replaced. Rich, being the good guy he is, tells me that my unit is still under a full-service warranty from Casteel so I should take the free service instead of paying him. He calls one of his old contacts at Casteel for me and sets up an appointment. Casteel technician comes out and I tell them precisely what Rich told me; I gave them the names of the parts, a rough description of how Rich had isolated the issue to those parts, and let them do their thing. They didn't want to hear what I had to say, had no idea who Rich was (Casteel had been bought out by a national company since Rich's departure) and just generally blew me off. THREE trips later, multiple parts replaced, Casteel tells me, "yep, we're going to have to replace parts X and Y." Of course, parts X and Y were precisely the parts Rich said needed to be replaced a couple of weeks ago (I had no heat while Casteel threw darts at my unit hoping to get it right). Fortunately, Casteel's incompetence didn't cost me anything, outside of some cold nights, due to my warranty. I can't recommend Guardian enough. Fast, reliable, reasonably priced, greatly experienced, and someone who truly takes pride in customer service. read more

My name is Kelly D. and I was referred to Guardian Heating, Air, Plumbing & Electrical by Dupree Plumbing for my HVAC service needs. From the time I contacted Guardian Heating and spoke to Evelyn & Shelby the customer service was not only excellent and precise, but very refreshing as well. I contacted Guardian to have my furnace filter changed out as it is time to replace and these two ladies were very knowledgeable of the services being provided as well as not trying to force me into signing up for other services that I didn't need right now. They were very patient with me and set my appointment up for the next following week. Josh the technician was suppose to come out on 11-22-21 between 12-4pm. Josh finished up with an earlier job and contacted me to see if he could come earlier to replace my filter and it worked out wonderful. My filter is good for 3 months and Josh was polite and quick with his service. Josh asked me about having their company service my AC in the future and sent me a quote. After I read everything over....Guardian Heating, Air, Pluming & Electrical will have my business. As things are getting a little more expensive now a days, it is very refreshing to have someone take their time to explain things to you so that they make sure you are comfortable with the price and the services they are providing to you. It's people that are each businesses greatest asset! The technician that came out to our home, Gio, he is a perfect example of that. Great person, great personality, down to earth, very knowledgeable, good attitude, not lazy. Thank you Gio. August 3, 2023 Updated Review I am pleased to report I am still very happy with the team at Guardian! I signed up for their yearly service plan which I definitely recommend. That's where for a small fee they come out once in Spring time and once in the Fall to inspect, tweek and change out filters if needed. Today as I wrote this we are having Daniel at Guardian install our new downstairs AC system that went out last week. Daniel is very experienced, very hard worker, super nice. Trane unit. Gio is normally my go to guy but he was booked and my wife did not want to wait 3-4 days to have him come out. I do recommend having the same person come out. Then that person becomes familiar with your hvac systems and makes it quicker, easier, etc. we had Hans who came out right away last week. Hans was another great professional. Knowledge, great personality. Guardian is another example how employees are a company's greatest asset, everyone we have met and spoken with are superstars! Oh, extremely responsive with communications with team members at the office. Don't waste your time taking a risk with anyone else! We vetted Guardian for you. Thank you team Guardian! read more

Guardian came to my home after I had used a number of "big" companies to try to diagnose my problem. These other companies 1)misdiagnosed the problem 2)tried to push me into a new system even though my system is only 7 years old 3) charged me a fee to replace parts that they never actually replaced. I chose Guardian from their reviews. Richard came to my home and was able to go through my system and diagnose my problem. After my repair, my system has been working great since and the pricing was more than reasonable for a real HVAC technician who knows what he's doing. This IS the company you should choose if you need repair or replacement. I never felt pushed. I was walked through the steps and felt like he and his helper wanted to do right by me and not just push me into a sale. I need to replace 2 older systems and I won't call anyone else. I won't look for a cheaper handyman or turn to the "big guys" that dump a ton of money into plastering their logo everywhere but provide awful service. Our heating went out on December 23rd. The coldest weather I have encountered here in Georgia. I have AHS warranty and they could not find me a single company to come help us!! I called at least 3 to 4 times a day and no response! I asked why can't I pick my own company they advised me that was not an option. I was raised to make sure I can get what I deserve! I was able to choose my own company which is rare but I am so happy that my persistence paid off. I went online to see who I could trust and get good service! I believe that this was my best choice ever! Hans was our technician he was so professional and explained what was wrong and I was able to get approval for repair. He was able to find out what was wrong almost immediately and was able to repair our heating in no time! Thank you for the service that your company provided at my mom's home on Saturday, January 31. The Technician that you sent was very knowledgeable and helpful. He told us his name was "Aspen". My mom's furnace was blowing out cold air but, your technician came and took care of the problem right away. He even stated that he checked several times to make sure that the unit was running properly before he left from under the crawl space. My cousin gave us your company's name when we needed a company to service her unit. Your company had installed a new furnace in my great aunts home in 2025. Our HVAC system was on its last leg. We received a number of quotes from other companies and finally one from Guardian. I'm so glad we did. They were so friendly. Some of the other companies were borderline offensive and pushy when I told them I needed to stay within a budget. Making me feel bad about not buying the top of the line HVAC system. Guardian listened to what I needed and did their best to provide me options that would allow me stay within my budget! Guess what.. I ended up spending the money the other companies were trying to push on me with Guardian because they were clear and really explained everything well. The install was so easy and clean. It is not often a company exceeds my expectations, but Guardian Heating & air and their exper technicians Josh Bennett & Jamie Dias really went above and beyond on sight while their phone reps were extremely responsive and flexible. They carry a strong professionalism to them- Josh showed us every step what was wrong & needed to be fixed, and Jamie was fast and professional with that fix once they had the part. Text communications got a same day response and hold times when calling verbal were quick. Promises to deliver updated information were kept and not simply forgotten. There was some frustration with the timing of a part they had to order but they were ready to explain and make things right. I called Guardian and they were able to come out right away and handle our heating repair. They were really friendly from the first call. The technician that came out clearly knew what he was doing and not only took care of my problem but also gave me some tips to reduce my energy bills, troubleshoot problems and gave me an idea of what problems I may see this summer with my really old system.
