Bad customer service i have ever known. My friend bought a shoes for her boyfriend but after she got home, she checked and saw old and yellow in the bottom. So we went back the store and complained but a white guy in Gucci at Prudential Center (MA) looked at us with uncomfortable eyes and told us "i think that's fine after several time you wear it'll also be dirty. It's not a big deal." But this shoes is a gift for her boyfriend she wants it look perfect but that man just wants to avoid. Then he said "if you still want to change I'll order from another store and will contact with you later when it arrives". We're okay so we went home but we're still resentful of their service. We spent $1400 on their stuff, that's a big money for us so we want to be treated nice, and kind not as what he did treated us. He despise us. After that day, my friend just received a text from Gucci store, she and her boyfriend came but they gave her a similar shoes, it's dirty, old and yellow also. How? And how? I couldn't understand. My daughter's husband bought her a Gucci Bag (or at least the experience of buying one) for Xmas and took her there today. When they walked in, my daughter was only greeted by the loss prevention woman at the front door. The two sales associates were talking to one another so my daughter interrupted them to ask if this was everything they happened to have in stock. One associate replied "well, I COULD lay it all out for you like in a flea market." My daughter was so upset, she said to her husband..."let's go!" She called me so upset to think someone in an upscale store would speak to her like that out of the gate. I called the manager Shawn and complained. He was very nice and apologized. They have everything I need and are always accommodating to my questions and needs. I don't understand why people gave it a 1 star? The girl who helped me was super friendly and knowledgable of the products. She took out a bunch of wallets for me to choose from and with her help - I settled on a new brown leather wallet. She nicely wrapped it up for me. I don't plan on buying from Gucci anytime soon but it's great to know for future visits - the customer service is going to be outstanding! read more

I went to this Guicci store located on Huntington Ave, at Copley, Boston, MA yesterday 10/17/2020 to make an exchange. When I got to the store it was around 6:10pm I realized that the door was closed. An associate inside (a senior associate ) made a sign with his hands saying they closed at 6. However I took my phone out and looked up the hours of operation and it says that they closed at 7pm. I then proceeded to call client services, while standing at the door. While I was making the call and talking to client services couple people came and tugged at the door and walked away. Around 6:20pm while I was still outside talking to client services 3 Caucasian individuals walked up and tugged at the door. The same associate came to the door and opened the door and told them that the store closed at 6 pm and then one of the Caucasian individuals said I just need to purchase a sneakers and he told her to come in. So all 3 individuals walked into the store and he bolted the door looked me into the eye and walked away behind the 3 individuals. Please understand my frustration at this point. I proceeded to explained what just took place to client services, she took my information and told me that someone would get back in touch with me in reference to what had just happened. I was just shocked to see what had just happened. So I waited at the door and another associate (A lady) opened the door to let someone out I told her what had just happened and I asked for the Store manager name so that I could call her and reported what had just happened to me. At the same time that I was asking for the manager information that very rude associate a senior associate came to the door and proceeded to identify himself as a supervisor said to me I am a supervisor! and I told him that I am going to reported what had just happened to his boss because I believe that I was treated very disrespectful and I think it's racist what he just did. He quickly closed the door and walked away. I am so disappointed with this associate behavior. I believe everyone should be treated equally no matter the color of your skin black or white. Everyone who is spending their money to purchase their item and this is just outride inappropriate and rude the way I was treated by this associate. Racism exists people it really does and I am a victim of it today straight to my face! I would have been fine if he did not allowed anyone into the store but why allowed someone else into the store who arrived after I did and I was clearly standing outside while he did this to my face. read more

My husband bought a pair of shoes from Gucci at Copley place and the service at that time was amazing. He tried two different sizes that time and decided the smaller size fits better. So we told Jen in the store and purchased directly. After we went back home and opened the box, we realized she mixed the two sizes in our box - one is the bigger size and the other is the smaller size. We called them right away but couldn't reach anyone from the store. So I took the pair to the store the next day. Jen was not there when I went for the exchange and the guy who helped to exchange only said "I'm sorry but I don't know who made this mistake". This kind of mistake shouldn't have been made, especially when you spend $800 on a pair of shoes, you'd expect the service to be the same level as the price tag. And when they realized the mistake, instead of blaming on the others, they should at least offer to return the wrong shoes themselves or compensate a little. I had to take half day off from work just to go exchange it as we're traveling the next day. I didn't feel their sincere apologies nor did I feel they understand how unprofessional this mistake is. The service they provide when you're shopping is incredible, but they really need to improve their after sales service to keep their customers coming back. read more

Excellent selection of merchandise and beautiful layout. Customer service is usually great, but the last sales associate who helped me, Jorge, was horrible. He was not friendly or engaging, simply no passion for his job. He even placed and order for me and several days later called me to notify me that my order had been cancelled because there was a "glitch" in the system that messed up the inventory... B.S. (come on, I work in retail; there was probably a very low quantity of the belts left, and instead of calling those stores to see if they in fact had my belt he decided to risk my order). Never buy a watch here.. I purchased a "water proof" one for $800 a year ago (along with a $1500 purse) ...the watch was not working within the year and when I send it in for repair, they did not stand by their warranty alleging that water proof watch was submerged. (I guess if rain drops count as submerged they were right !) Anyways -- stick to purses , outfits and shoes, as their timepieces are a scam. read more

I went into Gucci on the Saturday evening of the tax-free weekend (August 16,2008) around 6:30 p.m. and did not leave until close to 8pm. When I came in, I was soon greeted by Jonathan. From the minute I walked in until the minute I walked out he provided me full attention. Although, one other potential buyer was asking about another wallet, he politely asked the other Gucci employee if she could help her out with that specific wallet. I insisted he help her while I was still deciding to get a wallet in addition to the bag I already decided on, he insisted his full attention to me. I THOUGHT THAT WAS SWEET. He could have had juggled the both of us at the same time but he chose to exclusively help me. Besides his great customer service, I would like to compliment that he was very patient with me - i went from the messenger bag to a second bag to end up buying the black D gold. Each time he had to go to the back to get each purse, but he assured me not to worry when I apologized. He said all it mattered was that I was happy with whatever selection i made. Although i didn't buy the wallet, I left with a purse that cost $200.00 more than the first purse i wanted. Few days later, I came back for the black Princey, and immediately looked for him for only his service. Otherwise, I would've waited until he was working. Great service. Great personality. I bought all my 2 sets of luggage, vintage the blue/ and the brown. 12 watches, 6 sweatshirts, 4 pr. socks, at least 12 bags, and more, the people were fine, in fact I hate when sales people dont leave me alone, and I actually took their catalog and ordered pieces of luggage not at the store that day. Jorge and/or Shawn (may have misspelled his name. Sorry.) = awesome experiences! You would think in a luxury store, all sales people would be the same: excellent as the product they sell. SO not true. I have known Jorge for about a year. All I can say is that when I go there, he will do all he can to help me find what I am looking for with gentleness and persistence. And, the times when things didn't work out (like, good fitting shoes are hard to find for me), he never tried to sell me and push me. He doesn't even look mad or sad (some sales people show strong disapproval). In fact, he always insisted I find something that I am perfectly happy with. And, if you ask, he will keep his eyes out on a style for you, and he will keep them aside for you once they come in, and call you. (Many salespeople say they will, but, they forget you once you leave.) And, if you have something altered, he will keep his eye on the progress on that item, too. (Again, many say they would, but they don't. They only care about making sales now, now, now!) Shawn is a manager, I believe. Long story short, he, also, wants his customers to have great experiences. He will take very good care of you. I never had any problem with anything I purchased from either one, because they took the time to make sure it was exactly what I wanted and needed. Very grateful. :) read more

The handle of my bag broke I send it to gucci to get it fixed and they wanted to charge me some interesting money for it I would say that for a bag that is $700 I would expect it to last more than a year I can't believe the place has the decency to charge me an interesting amount of money and on top worst customer service ever maybe if they would take the snobiness away the people in there would get to a better place in life it is so ridiculous. My husband, and I were vacationing in Boston last month, we stopped into this store, we had a really fun experience with the salesperson, and the security guard! We ended up buying a couple of bags. When we returned to Arizona a strap on one of the bags broke! My husband took the purse to the Scottsdale store, where he was told they would send it out for repairs, but not replace!! The bag had been used twice!! We were very disappointed in the customer service. We ended up calling the Boston store, where we had already had such a great experience, and you know what... they are fixing the problem and sending a new bag!!! The low rating is for customer service ONLY!! All I wanted was my bag cleaned. My son spilled milk all over the outside of my black leather bag. I called before hand of course and was told just bring it in. Sound simply enough, OK I got there it was a Sunday...They didn't even look at the bag before I was told that's not something they would clean and I should go home and try to clean it myself or take it to my own cleaning place. Oh yeah she did give me the # to their service but neglected to tell me they was close on Sundays.....I left walked to the food court sat down for about 15 mins and said to myself is this how Oprah felt when that sale lady told her she couldn't afford the handbag she wanted....I'm not one to pull the race card but in this case I'm pulling it!!!!!
