On a Sunday night, I received an email that notifying me one of my tires was extremely low. I checked the tire wasn't shocked with all this never going away construction going on, I had a nail on my tire. I checked the nearest tire shops near me, since I knew it was an ez fix. They had just closed. Close at 6pm on Sundays, luckily they open at 7am nxt day and stay open late til 8pm every day but Sundays... My tire got a patch for $20. They only accept Ca$h. read more

Fuck this place.....These guys are running a total Scam. Yesterday I was driving down South Congress and noticed my Tire pressure guage came on. I was losing pressure fast. Saw this place and pulled in. They are a Cash Only business. I knew my tires were getting bad and was going to replace at my next oil change. I told them I just wanted to replace the 1 tire I needed now. They told me $80. I was like how can you do this so cheaply. I was really surprised and Happy. Went to the ATM in the convienence store next to them and got Cash. Repalced my tire with what I thought was a Brand new same tire. They got me out quickly. Woke up this morning to a completely flat tire. Luckily I'm close to a GoodYear where I normally get all my service. Drove there and they said the tire was used and the date was from 2018. About a month ago these guys put 4 tires on rims for $16 a wheel. Today they brought 2 new tires and 2 empty rims to the workshop for these guys to assemble them. He asked to balance and change the nipples but without installation on the car. At first, the work was estimated at $ 32, but the owner of the workshop came up and demanded to pay 80 and they refused to give a check. Of course, we paid, but we will not appear in this workshop again. Prior to this, Mario balanced the wheels with old balancers and they all flew off. So the car started shaking. read more

They pulled the tire off and discovered I had a nail in it. They are cash only. By the time I walked two blocks away, grabbed cash and came back, they had the tire fixed and rotated the tires. I'll start this review by saying this: For the price, you can't beat this place. However, I don't know much about tires or cars in general, and neither does my fiancé (please dont tell him I said that)...so we chose Guerrero trusting that, based on most of their reviews, they knew what they were doing. My tire on my Accord was completely flat when we came in, and replaced with a donut. The guy who helped my fiancé was friendly and let him know I'd need a new tire, so he replaced my flat one with a nice used one. Everything seemed fine when he left the shop, and for $60, we were pretty happy with the price of the fix. However, a day later I was driving on i35, and realized my tire light was back on, and my car seemed to be driving a little "off". Being up the road from my parents house, I stopped and had my dad check my tires. The "new" tire Guerrero put on my Accord was overfilled by 15 lbs! I'm pretty sure any tire shop worth their salt ( and who don't want their customers to end up with exploding tires) would think to check the tire pressure before sending you on your way. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed and I will definitely not be back or be referring anyone their way. I feel this place put my safety at risk, and hopefully others will read this review and save themselves the risk of stopping at this business. my mother passed away in a car wreck. I called this tire shop they give me one price for 80 bucks to switch to other tires. I told him all they had was 100 he said OK fine I came over and took all my tires off. they switched him and then he came and said hold him 140 or he wasn't going to put his tires on you guys all surrounded me and intimidated way so I'm basically forced to pay. You're taking chances when you go to Guerrero Tire Shop. While out, I had noticed one of my car's tires had a prominent bulge in it from where the sidewall plies were separating. Guerrero Tire Shop was the only place open after 7:00 PM (it was 7:15), so my husband and I slowly drove over. I'd have gone elsewhere for a new tire, but I didn't want to risk a blowout (this is the first and ultimately last used tire I'll purchase). To the shop's credit, the guy who switched the tire out was nice. However, the first tire he brought out had a nail through the tread, which was telling of Guerrero's quality control (it doesn't exist). The second tire looked good - no patches, nice tread and good sidewalls. We switched it out for $53; I tipped the guy $5 and we went home. At 10:45 PM that night I drove the car again -- which had been parked at my house ever since we drove it home from Guerrero's -- and within a block we got the Fred Flintstone effect. The tire was almost completely flat. My husband switched the tire Guerrero's put on in front of our house with the spare. We returned to Guerrero's the next morning. The guy who switched the tire out the day before was there and he acknowledged it was from their shop (we had a receipt), and stated the tire was "still good." No, it wasn't. There was a leak in it, and it wasn't coming from the valve stem. When I asked for my $53 back in return for their tire that went flat in less than four hours, they said they don't do refunds -- that the boss would have to approve it. "When's the boss coming in?" "Later." "Can you call him?" "No. All we can do is air up the tire we sold you and put it back on; patch it if necessary. What did you expect from a used tire?" That's it. They couldn't care less. Save your money -- drive on a spare at no greater speed than 55 MPH, take a bus, walk - anything other than visit this shop. Both tires they showed us couldn't have lasted more than a few hours, and they don't care about making things right, let alone safety. We ultimately drove the car with the spare on it over to Firestone and got a new tire on it. This is the first negative review I've written on Yelp. One always wants to see independent shops succeed, but these guys are hopelessly bad. read more

They don't really answer the phone, they won't greet u when u arrive but they'll note your arrival as they work at 90 miles an hour then when it's your turn they will give u the same fast courteous service they gave the people ahead of u. I love mom and pop tire shops. Always willing to go the extra mile. This is the case with Guerrero's. I brought them a truck with a couple of slow leaking tires that Discount Tire refused to fix . I happened to be the first one there so they got right on it. By the time I left, 5 other cars had pulled up. They had me out of there In just 20-minutes. I went there to get two tires but on my back rims they put my damn rim locks on with & impact drill thats the dumbest shit you can do now I can't get my rim locks off because there stripped out from being tightened so much i couldn't even get a mechanic to get it off with a lug nut remover now I have to deal with to figure out if they can get it off or destroy my $400 rim read more

Yesterday, I had a major tire blow out not far from this shop on the way to a funeral, more than an hour from home. As most tire shops were closed by 6pm on Sunday and it was almost 6, I was thrilled to see that this shop was open til 7pm. Really wanted to get to my destination and did not want to be stranded in Austin. Was not prepared for the rudeness I got on the phone. Needless to say, they did not help, and did not care about my predicament. The total strangers in the Walmart parking lot who sold me their spare tire (as mine would not hold air) were kinder and far more helpful. I did not make it to the funeral, but did finally make it home late last night after driving over 60 miles on a donut spare at 40-45 miles per hour, praying it would get me home. They had four perfect tires for less than half the cost of new tires in great condition, replaced them in 10 minutes, and were friendly while doing so. I had a flat fixed here today. $12 seemed quite reasonable for service that was very prompt. A couple of the guys didn't speak English but there was one gentleman that did. Communication was a bit of a issue with the gentleman working on the flat tire but it was well worth it. Note that they only take cash. I didn't have any so I walked over to IBC Bank on Pleasant Valley to get some--$4 fee! Seemed rather excessive. I would go out of my way to give this place business. read more
