Was driving through Pacifica and decided to give Guerrero's a try. I was not impressed. Customer service wise, the lady at the front taking our order, she was nice. No issues there. The food itself was very inedible. I honestly left most of it behind. For the veggie tacos, the rice was crunchy (not in a good way) and tasted very raw still, or stale. It also lacked flavor. The beans also had little to no flavor. The guacamole didn't taste fresh whatsoever. I ate one of the tacos because I was very hungry, but left the second veggie taco. I did take a bite of the shrimp taco to give it a chance, and the shrimp was extremely rubbery indicating it was overcooked. The flavor was good on the shrimp, but I couldn't eat more of it with what the consistency of the shrimp tasted like. I was bummed because the place did have several customers sitting down eating inside. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing? I don't know yet if I'd try them again...

$10.50 3 tacos. Basic. 1 lb of meat. Carne asada, al pastor, carnitas. All meats juicy and tender. Chip and salsa bar basic and good. Salsa fresca stocked. Salsa roja, gringo hot - delicious. It's a taqueria as taquerias get. Classic decor and inside the restaurant was very clean almost immaculate. Counter order. Have a seat, they bring it to you.

Solid Mexican food for Pacifica. There aren't a ton of options out on this side but Guerrero's is a good one. I'd say the value for the quality and amount of food is good. Service was ok, nothing fancy just a fast casual type of place.

The best mexican food my friends and I ever had. We use to go eat at the Taco Bell at Pacifica, but now we go here. The portion sizes are huge, and their Tacos are amazing.

I've been to all 3 Guerrero's Taquerias and so far the 2nd location on Hickey is the best for food/service. Small counter space with seating past the counter. The chicken dinner plate was aright, moist chicken with all the sides. But the carnitas plate was bad. Overcooked and near dark burnt pork. Small parking lot Will stick to the 2nd location when going to Guerrero's.

Carne asada and two tacos dinner plate

We ordered Carne Asada Dinner plate and two tacos plate ( chicken). Highly recommmemd the carne Asada plate. Generous portion of beef, beans, rice, guacamole, sour cream and shredded lettuce. The chicken tacos had great flavor but slightly dried. Don't forget to get the chips and fresh salsa. We had it to go but there are a few tables available to dine in. Plenty of free parking. The service is friendly. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

I've ordered from this once before online and decided to try it again since the food was good. I'm very disappointed that they didn't get our order correct. I ordered a burrito without any beans and it arrived with beans. The taco salad was supposed to have refried beans and that didn't have any beans at all. When I called the restaurant to let them know they told me they would send another one in &10 minutes. That never happened. I was hoping to get some lunch while working at home but I guess I wasted my money on a meal that wasn't prepared the way I wanted. I was told to give them another chance since their food was good but they got both meals wrong and they never corrected it. So...in my opinion...I'm looking elsewhere. The rating was on delivery. It was hot and part of this order was appreciated.

So I believe this is the original store of Guerrero's to the one in Pacifica near the boxing place and Safeway. We got a steak burrito and an enchilada plate. This place I feel isn't as great. Reasons? The chips are some cheap store bought ones with watery salsa and they did not even want to help us when we were ordering. They were more interested in talking to each other and not helping their customers. Their food is just blah compared to their other locations. Dry meat and crappy chips, no thanks.

We very rarely go here, though. It had been a very long time, over a decade, since we ordered food from them, so I nearly forgot why they are not one of our usual spots. DJ told me that the food is underwhelming, that's why. I didn't remember this, so I gave them another try on October 3, 2025. We had an appointment at Banfield, but I was starving. So I decided to drop in very quickly for something little and easy to eat while at the vet appointment. The small eatery, of likely a maximum occupancy of around sixty to seventy persons in the dining room, appeared to be semi-clean. Tables looked like they could have used a good wiping, but I wasn't concerned about that since I was ordering take-out. They have a chips and salsa bar at the end of the dining room which looked decent enough to trust the offerings, but, again, the counters could have used a wipe-down. I initially was going to order a taco or two, but decided that a tamal would be easier to eat without making a mess. According to a posted sign at the counter, tamales, sweet corn or chicken, are supposed to be $3.50 each. I say "supposed to be" because despite what their sign says, my receipt shows me that I was actually charged $3.64 for one, plus tax. Not cool. It's only a $0.14 difference, but this should never happen, ever. I recall pointing out the price difference to the cashier to which I was given some bogus response. I was too much in a hurry to get into a debate with her. As for the taste, the flavour of the chicken was not bad, but overall, the tamale was DRY. My tamal had a thin layer of sauce on top and the inside could have used some kind of moisture, either from cheese or sauce. After the appointment at Banfield, for the convenience, I returned to Guerrero's #2 to buy dinner for the family (Super Burrito for $15.08, Veggie Burrito for $13.00, Taco Plate for $18.20 + a Flauta for $3.00, and 2 Large Horchatas for $10.40, totaling $65.58 inclusive of tax). DJ reiterated that the food was meh...and I finally remembered how we found their menu items to be subpar. Service is usually fairly quick and decently friendly, though. I will refer to this yelp review of mine to serve as a reminder as to why we don't frequent Guerrero's Taqueria #2, in case I forget again.

I visited recently to try their super breakfast burrito. The couple working here are extremely friendly and hard working people. So how was my burrito? Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The chicken taco ($5.99) was good, but there was no wow factor. The chicken had decent flavor, but everything else felt pretty basic for a nearly $6 taco. The crunchy taco ($5.99) was probably the most disappointing. It reminded me of a small supermarket-style hard taco shell. The chopped steak inside was actually good, but it was heavily covered in shredded cheese. Then there's the Super Taco ($7.99). This one is a skip for me. It was loaded with cheese and watery guacamole, while the al pastor was drenched in sauce and seasoning. There was so much going on that I couldn't really appreciate the meat itself. That's roughly $20 for three tacos before tax... and ultimately, they still felt like fairly basic tacos made with basic ingredients. We also ordered the chicken quesadilla, and I'll give them this: it was MASSIVE. Definitely not lacking in portion size. But again, there was so much cheese, and the chicken was diced so finely that I found myself questioning the overall quality and freshness rather than appreciating the chicken. Surprisingly, my favorite part of the meal was the complimentary chips and green salsa. The green salsa had a nice kick and great flavor. Interestingly, though, our two cups tasted completely different one was flavorful and spicy, while the other was noticeably bland. After everything, we somehow walked out spending around $45 after tipping at checkout. That's where this place loses me. I'm willing to pay more for good food, and I understand restaurant prices have gone up everywhere. But when you're charging $5.99-$7.99 per taco, the quality has to justify it. The food wasn't terrible. It just wasn't memorable enough for the price. If you're coming here expecting elevated tacos to match the elevated price, I would temper those expectations.

Started with maragaritas and I have never had a maragarita served in this manner (see photos). Had the usual chips & salsa but the salsa was freshly roasted and smoky a surprising texture and flavor. I had the chile relleno which was the puffiest relleno I've ever had. So delicious, melt in your mouth, filled with so much cheese it oozed cheese everywhere on the plate. The other dish was a cheese enchilada traditional plate but the largest enchilada I've ever seen. Staff were friendly and accommodating. A place I hope to return to sooner than later.
