My biggest fear came true: my car broke down in the middle of nowhere on the 5 South, straight out of a horror movie. The only places around me were fast food joints...truly a nightmare for a pretentious LA foodie like myself. I got my car towed to Guerrero's, which was the only place open after 5:30 PM in the area. As the tow people dropped me off, I'll admit I felt a little uncomfortable...the area was like a ghost town that didn't take too kindly to ethnically ambiguous outsiders. And what made me upset was that even though it was 5:40 PM, the guys said that they were closing up for the day (when it said they closed at 6 PM). I thought "this is where my demise begins." The dude said he would look at it first thing in the morning. So I was forced to get a hotel for the night and he said that they could provide transportation to and from the hotel. (Yeah...each limb in a different trash bag.) He said "look outside for the van and they'll take you to the hotel." There was no Uber or Lyft around, so I figured...this is it. Either I'm getting the best customer service or the worst. A van pulls up and it's a kind Mexican woman, who tells me to get in. (Her kindness is a front...you can't trust her!) We chat about life for a few minutes and she ends up dropping me off at the hotel and waits for me to get my room before leaving. Fellas, take tips: that's chivalry at its finest! The next morning, they called me saying that they had fixed the car in like 20 minutes and were sending the woman on her way to pick me up. (Too good to be true...no one's coming for you. You will die here, alone in this awful Motel 6.) She arrived and on our way over, we talked some more about life and she dropped me off at the shop. They gave me my bill, which was only $100. If you ever get a flat tire where 580 meets the I-5, we cannot recommend Guerrero's Tire Repair more highly. After looking at our flat tire, the mechanic checked the other back tire and discovered that it too was just about to go. So he rotated and swapped all four tires (so that the new tires would be on the front), diagnosed a rear alignment problem, and sent us on our way. Time spent: under 1 hour. Labor cost: $25. Cheerful and friendly treatment throughout. The whole experience was about as pleasant as having two flat tires on the I-5 could possibly be. read more

These guys are great at what they do. I get in for an oil change and get out quick. I bought tires here and get them rotated and checked every 5K miles for free. Very cool and honest folks to do business with. Free coffee and cable tv to watch while you wait. The Guerrero family is very nice and professional. These guys are so awesome. I blew out a few tires and damaged my aluminum rims :( Super sad. It was imperative that rims get fixed ASAP so that I can get to work. They promptly sent my wheels out to Modesto to get them repaired and put the tires on for me for under $150. I will definitely be using this business again. The folks who run this shop were a Godsend. My car broke down near Patterson on my way back to L.A. from a trip to Napa one recent weekend, and I was forced to go to this shop blind since they were the only ones open in the area on a Sunday. (Patterson is a pretty tiny town.) It was a situation ripe for someone unscrupulous to rip me off, but luckily the folks at Guerrero are good honest folk who immediately started working on my car, and even sent a driver out over a hundred miles to acquire the part I needed when they couldn't find it locally. They then worked quickly to install it and got me on my way in under 3 hours. Hopefully your car won't give out on you like mine did, but if it does I highly recommend that you have it towed to this shop. read more

I've gone here for a few years now. Their prices are low and they have honest mechanics. There was one time I took it in for an oil change, and they replaced my filter for $12. 12 dollars!!! I have paid around $50 at multiple garages in Patterson. My breaks had been squealing for quite a bit and so we took my car in, prepared to pay a couple hundred to replace them (as we have at other places in Patterson). After about 30 minutes he returned to tell us that they were perfectly fine, there was some brake dust they cleaned out but just that the pads may have hardened causing the squealing. Other than that they still looked brand new and it should be years before I need to change them. I can almost guarantee if I took it to another place they would have changed them and charged me. I will no longer take my cars into another place besides this one. They have proved themselves to me on more than one occasion and really appreciate the business. read more

Hooked me up with some low cost, used replacement tires my old school. They put 4 tires on with 70% tread remaining for $125. They were fast and low cost, they even torqued all my bolts down. I will definitely go back for used or new tires. The owner can get you what ever you need. He has a repair shop across the street as well. read more

I will review their repair service across the street seperately but this place is good, fast, good pricing. The owner Art, makes sure things are taken care of fast, gives good pricing and very concerned about keeping a good reputation since this is a small town and word gets around. For any tire buiness I would highly recommend this place...I wish I could say the same about their mechanic shop across the street which is not recommended but I'll post my review about that seperately. read more

Called yesterday for a set of tires, had them in the Newman Shop. Was told they would bring them to the Patterson Shop, if I wanted to wait for the following day. Wow what customer service, WRONG! I showed up the next day at 11:00, they weren't brought over. Told me to come back in an hour and they would be there. Got there at 12:15 they weren't there, the van broke down. Was told they would start on the car, while we waited for the tires to show up. WRONG again, they didn't start them for another 15 minuets or so. Didn't get the impression they even cared. Not happy! Amazing! My boyfriend and I were driving home from Lake Tahoe with 300miles left on our trip and we got a hole in our run flat tires. This place was about to close and stayed open and waited for us to get there. As soon as we pulled up they were ON IT immediately took tire off, started patching...we're extremely knowledgable, friendly and on top of it! We felt in great hands and were so releaved to not have to get towed and spend the night in Patterson instead of home. If we lived here we would be regulars!!! read more

Would not recommend Guerrero tire repair.. They had quoted me a good deal on my tires. so I gave the ok for them to do the service. After the service was completed and all four tires where on. I had given the mechanic my atm/debit card. All of a sudden he told me he wanted it in cash. I explained to him that he didn't tell me he wanted to get paid in cash, and I don't have cash on me, so him and his associates took all brand new tires off my car, and put all four old ones back on. (mind you on the building it clearly states they accept mastercard or visa). Will never go back.... read more

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS! The Guerrero's Tire that I used was by the same owner as this one in Patterson but the one I went to was in Gustine, CA. I had my tires checked by my mechanic and also Discount Tire Company before leaving on a long trip. Both advised that my tires were perfect for the trip I was planning the next day. After driving for about seven hours I had a blowout. A gentleman came out from Automobile Club and changed my tire saying he knew of a place where I could get another tire. When I got there a young man came out saying a new tire would be $45. Another man came out directly behind him and he said the tire would be $86. I needed a spare so I said to go ahead and put one on. He then proceeded to tell me ALL my tires were really bad and that I should buy all new tires. He told my cousin that I was "taking a chance" if I didn't get all new tires and he was "required to put on my receipt that I needed all new tires" which he did. Even though I asked him not to scare my cousin he continued telling her we were unsafe. I drove to Costco in a city not too far away and Costco said my tires were really good and that there was no reason to buy new tires. He advised me that it is possible to have a "blowout" even with a relatively new tire. The Guerrero gentleman (I use that term very loosely) was a SCAM ARTIST in the worst way. He thought he could pull this off, I guess, because we were two women. I am sorry to even have given this *#$*& the money for ONE tire! read more
