NEW LOCATION! 101 Sperry Ave. in Patterson I previously smogged my truck and when our 2nd vehicle needed a smog cert, I knew I could get it done quickly at Patterson Smog. I drove to their other location, it had a sign on the fence they had moved with the new address. Headed over there, one car was in the bay getting worked on. The owner came and checked the vehicle sensor and told me it would be a few minutes. It was the opening day at the new location. She offered the lobby to sit in and let me know they were still working on the inside. My car was taken into the bay, tested and ready to go in 15ish minutes. Nice space at the new location. Clean lobby, still finishing up the decorating. Owner also gave me a flyer with a coupon for a discount. I paid $49 and change to smog our 2018 Chevy Equinox. Super fast check in and the wait time was estimated to be 15 minutes but it actually took around 10 minutes for a smog test! Cost was the same as anywhere else but location wise it is close to Downtown Patterson and a gas station around the corner. read more

I've been calling for a smog with Patterson Smog, for over two months speaking with (Mary who states she is the owner). Mary is not the owner but a manager ok. During this time their smog equipment was down and needed repair $5,000.00. Today7/19/25, I called to see if the equipment was up and running (I have an older vehicle). I arrived 5 min before they opened. This smog shop shares a building with a tire shop that opened and your prior. The people at the tire shop where really helpful. They told me that the smog buy is normally 10-20 min late every day. So I waited for the smog guy who was 15 minutes lates only to find out that this place IS NOT STAR CERTIFIED. I made the trip out to Turlock got the log done in -0 min and it was way cheaper then what this place would have tried and charged. Don't go read more
