He was very upfront about the pricing and from our discussion it seemed that he knew a bit about Audi the potential problems. I took my car there earlier today and Jason plugged in the computers and found that the car wasn't generating any error codes. He actually worked on the car for quite some time because an oil pressure warning is a potential big problem. Instead of trying to gouged me or get me to pay him for possibly helpful services, he was completely honest and gave me several possible scenarios. None of which actually benefited him because he wouldn't make a cent. Also, he didn't charge me for any diagnostic fee which I really appreciated. We pull in and we were accommodated right away, we were so grateful, that we agreed to business with them. We waited maybe 30 min and ran diagnostics, it turned out it was just a battery issue. Brought my car here…read more My car failed smog...guy said bring it back after making "certain" repairs. Saying it would not pass "unless the car was driven a certain amount of miles". Didn't give an explanation of WHY the car had to be driven. So no, I shouldn't bring it back without a mechanics approval because it would fail. Took it somewhere else. The mechanic explained it wouldn't pass unless another mechanic looked at it prior to clear it and the mileage cleared because the computer had to reset. It needed a new temperature gauge. That could have been included in the conversation. Tried to make an extra quick couple bucks. Never will be back. And everyone I know in Tracy has been informed.
