I wanted to order a last season item from my Guess store in California but it was sold out everywhere except the New Jersey location. I called up and got Vanessa as my associate. She was absolutely amazing, answered all my questions, and was super helpful and friendly. She made the transaction so easy. Yesterday I received my item in the mail and I'm so happy. It was sent in such a beautiful manner. Inside the shipping box was a Marciano gift box and a hand written note thanking me for my purchase. The item is stunning and fit perfectly. This particular piece is quite classic and the quality is wonderful. It will be worn for many years to come. Vanessa went above and beyond my expectations. The customer service here is impeccable and the clothing is absolutely beautiful. I highly suggest this Guess by Marciano location and I would definitely shop here again. P.S. Was in Garden State Plaza to buy a new Apple Phone towards the end of July. Whilst there I did a bit of clothing shopping which included purchasing a pullover sweater on sale in GUESS. When I got home I realized just how much I loved the sweater and regretted not having purchased the same one in multiple colors. By that time we had returned from vacation and were nowhere near a GUESS store. I called Customer Care at GUESS to see if they could help me acquire additional sweaters...even sent them a photo of what I was seeking...all of this to no avail. Yesterday I telephoned the GUESS store at Garden State Plaza. I spoke to a young person there by the name of Kelsey (hope I have the correct spelling.) Together we were able to find the style number of said sweater. With a bit of research she found that this item was available in two other colors in my size, but there were none in her particular store. I asked if she could send them, she replied "Absolutely!" So now I await my package of two sweaters, one brown, one coral in XS, all thanks to one lovely, helpful, and efficient sales woman. THANK YOU KELSEY! read more

I went shopping today and about an hour ago stopped in Marciano which is supposed to be the higher end version of Guess. I am about 30 years old and make a pretty high income, I was looking for an outfit to wear to dinner tonight. I wasn't even acknowledged by one girl working there not even a good afternoon. Instead they were all chit chatting and trying on clothes. Are u paid to chit chat or sell clothing? Needless to say I will not be back. I went to Guess and was greeted as soon as I walked in and assisted by several associates. Maybe you should pay them more and have them work in Marciano. The clothes and store are beautiful but they staff is really pathetic. read more

Hi. For the first time in my shopping experience, the mall security and the Paramus department cops were called on me by the Guess staff member at this store. I was almost done shopping and about check out, that's when the staff member confronted me in presence of other customers and brought up the merchandise returns incident, the last time I visited the store. The staff member, who is a middle aged lady was extremely unprofessional in putting forward her concerns of my last visit. All I need is for GUESS to explain why 4 COPS and 2 Mall security officers were called and this extremely important because it all happened in the presence of my WIFE and my 13 year old SON. read more

I'll start with the positive: the sales girls are very helpful and nice and almost all the cloths are extremely *trendy and of the moment. The cloths seem like very good quality. Now the negative: The cloths are extremely *trendy and of the moment. [it all depends weather or not you like to be extremely trendy as to weather or not you see it as a good thing or a bad thing.] BEWARE OF RETURN POLICY ON SALE ITEMS!! Your only allowed STORE CREDIT !! if you return a sale item, which sucks! Also, I wan't to add this is a store for women only. They don't have a mens line. I tend to add a few trendy items to some classic timeless items and mix it up so I can keep things longer. If classic is your look, then this store is not for you. Most of the things are so super trendy that they will be out of style in only a season two and they are pricey for the amount of time you'll get to wear them. I was able to find a great trench coat that I love there though that I love, which happens to be a 'classic' that just happens to be trendy right now. Most other things in the store I had to pass up because of extreme trendiness and because they mostly seem geared toward a younger 18-35 year old clientele. Although I have the body for it, I'm not gonna be caught dead in a bandage dress in my early 40's. read more

The service here is amazing! The girls are so eager to help, incredibly sweet, quick to make conversation, and even passed out custom water bottles for my mom and me. Which is why I was sad and even a little ashamed (you know what I mean) when I tried on FIVE dresses and walked out empty-handed. I'm sorry, girls *cries* Really I am! Like the reviewer said before me, the dresses are trendy. But that's alright with me, because these sorts of body con dresses are designed to turn a few heads on New Year's Eve and maybe at 2-3 more occasions at most before it becomes "that dress you wear ALL THE TIME." Don't want any dress to become a faux pax. So I walked in expecting to wear out my potential purchase within the year. However, the fit of all the bandage and body con dresses I tried on were just.. weird. First, you have to have an iron board as a stomach to strut in most of those $100+ dresses. The fabric hugs closely and just exposes EVERY little thing. Fine, I sigh; for the really tight dresses, I try sizing up from S to M. Medium was still tight, but as expected the skirt was longer. Quite a lot longer.. Now my mini dress looked awkwardly like a midi dress. Not cool. Then I found a beautiful red, high-waisted dress ON SALE in size 0. It fit slightly too small; I was sad. The eager sales girl then goes through pains to find a size 2 for me and unexpectedly she DOES. That's my normal size; I was happy! I put it on... And find that the skirt is really quite long -- oddly so for a store that caters to a younger crowd -- and in order to avoid looking like a matron at a 20-something's party, I passed. Marciano in the Garden state plaza is fabulous. Their staff is absolutely amazing. They all go above and beyond to help you. Their clothing is always stylish, trendy and made of great quality so I never mind spending the money. This was one of my favorite store until I had a bad experience this last Friday the 22nd of April I had a bag of pretzels I ask to throw away because I didn't see a trash can in sight at the store, the lady who was working there refuse to take it and told me theirs a trash can OUTSIDE the store around the door on the right side. I couldn't believe she rather me walk outside to throw it out! Did she think the customer would had returned ... Horrible service, I then walk out the store and didn't plan on returning back. I Walked into BeBe and spend my money there. The store lost about 500$ in sales that day because I left and shop else where read more

I visited this store on 12/14/19 and not only were the 2 associates working this evening hanging out by the register with their friend the entire time but I think I was just racially profiled. My sister has on a track suit and I have on jeans which shouldn't matter but we looked at them, smiled and still no acknowledgement. It seemed weird but we brushed it off because they seem a bit young - early 20s. However when an older couple walked in, they were greeted instantly. I've actually shopped here frequently too but that was a major turnoff. We're in the mall during holiday season. We don't have to be dolled up to quickly shop. Anyway, we left immediately and going forward, will take my business elsewhere. read more
