I am very disappointed in the work and level of service I received from Ronald's Painting. I had…read morethem install cabinets, back splash tiles, and renovate a whole bathroom. They completed the job but it felt like the bare minimum was done. They didn't caulk anything. Tile work was C- work. The vanity they bought was messed up and warped but they still installed it instead of returning it and waiting for a new one. There wasn't any quality control until I came back from abroad to complain. You can tell they are just a painting company trying to take on more types of work. Maybe stay in your lane. When they installed my cabinets, they didn't bother to put in an electrical outlet above the stove so I have somewhere to plug in the built-in microwave I had installed. They just installed it over the old one and didn't bother. I'm pretty sure they didn't pull any permits because no one would approve that to be up to code. My mom found them from a flyer through church but I guess that doesn't mean they're honest or do good work. STAY AWAY! Update - Ron called me back almost immediately as soon as the review went up. He couldn't return my call but he definitely acted quickly with the review. As you can see from his passive-aggressive response, there is ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY, which showed throughout the project. Everything was my fault or the other contractor's fault or how long it's been etc... Yes, the other contractor was a poor communicator but I can assure you that his work had nothing to do with Ron's work. Am I not allowed to sub-contract work out how I see fit according to my budget? So when I brought in another contractor for the other stuff, your team said screw it, we don't need to take ownership for anything? Like the demo being left in my backyard? Yeah, thought so. The reason it's been 10 months is that I've had the house listed for sale. I've recently taken down the listing and am renting it and purchased new appliances, which is when I noticed that Ron's team didn't put in the outlet above the stove for a microwave/hood or put in a water line for the fridge. It's the small details that I thought when I paid Ron, I wouldn't have to worry about. I was wrong. Please don't act like I was a satisfied customer when we parted ways 10 months ago. When I got back from my honeymoon, I was very displeased with the work done and had to do several walkthroughs with your Foreman to even get it to just "all right". So now that I've had to spend more money to fix your lazy mistakes, I'm leaving the review.

Felipe' came to our house as scheduled and went through a thorough inspection of all what we needed, I was impressed of his knowledge and the way he explained his plans to tackle the project. He gave us a fare estimate (was not the cheapest we got but it was fare based on work efforts and the execution of this project). He gave us a start date and time and he kept an excellent communication regarding the materials, supplies and labor efforts. The crew arrived on the start date as scheduled and immediately started on protecting the floors, doors, furniture, appliances, Light features ...etc. They were very organized, and they started doing their magic throughout the house. You can see their attention to details and their strive for perfection. They listened calmly to our questions and concerns and addressed all of them very professionally. They were always willing to go the extra mile and take care of business as if it's their own house. We loved their pleasant attitude and the professionalism and the efficiency they demonstrated during the entire project. They all worked hard and worked long hours to make sure the outcome is as perfect as it is possibly can. They painted my entire home, replaced the carpet, installed new laminate flooring, replaced several light fixtures, resurfaced and restrained several cabinets, updated the flooring on my shed and did and deep clean of the house inside and out (powerwashing). They were timely and courteous with their work. They also did the best they could to keep the costs reasonable. After feeling as if there was no way we'd be able to get the work done within what the insurance company was willing to pay, we were referred to Raul and his team by many of our neighbors. As he lives in our neighborhood, many folks had hired him to have all sorts of work done and every person we spoke to said nothing but amazing things about the quality of what he and his team had done. Raul came to give us an estimate when he said he would and it was much more affordable than the prior companies we had contacted. We decided to hire him that day to install our new flooring. In tandem with the flooring, we were having repairs done to our ceiling and wall, and new paint/popcorn applied. Unfortunately, the person we hired to do these items wasn't able to do them to our expectations and we decided to let him go. After a short conversation with Raul, we decided to hire him to complete everything that needed to be done associated with our claim. Not only that but, we discovered a mold issue just before the work was to begin and, after having him look at it for us, we also hired him to take care of those repairs as well. I could go on and on about the amazing work that Raul and his team do. We even added on some extras along the way because we were so impressed. A stressful situation of having to file an insurance claim to have work done we hadn't planned ended up turning into a beautiful remodel of nearly the entire first floor of our home! The floors are absolutely beautiful, we have a new smooth ceiling in our kitchen and living room (instead of popcorn) that is like glass, we have absolutely beautifully done new paint in our kitchen, living room and family room, and we no longer have a leak causing a mold issue around our front windows. Every step of the way we were impressed. The work was done when we were told it would be, and even with some hiccups along the way (i.e. having to ask for additional work), Raul made sure we were comfortable with any changes in the timeline. More importantly, in no case did we see any situation where a corner was cut. In fact, things we wouldn't have thought to do or add as extra steps to do things as simple as say, painting a wall, were done, to ensure the quality was second to none. We hovered every day watching, and every day we were impressed with the little things that were done to go above and beyond. The one and only reason I am not giving Raul 5 stars is because throughout the entire process, with everything we had done, we never saw anything on paper. In fact, I have to reach out again to ask for something showing what work was done to satisfy our insurance company. This is an extremely minor issue however. In fact if I could give 4.5 stars, deducting just .5 for the lack of paperwork, I would. I'm 100% sure he can and will provide it, I would've just preferred seeing things in writing to solidify all the conversations and agreements made verbally. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that we will hire Raul again to do whatever we need to our home. We've since visited some neighbors to see work he's done for them and were just as impressed. A new bathroom was done for one of our neighbors that is amazing and the screen room another neighbor had him finish (after poor quality work was done) is beautiful.
