Visited this place that we once had fond memories of in the past. This experience is probably our last. The bartender was awful ... on his cell phone a lot. We kept needing to talk to the bar back and then wait for the guy to finish his texting. As far as the food ... we wanted some chips and salsa with a side of quac ... they charged us for 2 appetizers so over $20 for bottomless chips and 1 small dish of each. Most places give you the chips and salsa so loo my as you are ordering dinner. So maybe charge for the quac and throw in the lower. Dinner wasn't much better. I had 3 gringo tacos on soft shell tortillas... for done reason I was expecting crunchy shells with the title. They came with rice and refried beans. I told the bartender that I wanted ground beef and cheese only... but they came with refried beans on them as well. Further it's was so unbelievably salty that they were almost not eatable. The wife ordered a taco salad .., you know the fried tortilla bowl with a lot of lettuce and little else. To drink I had one modelo and the wife had a house normal size margarita. In the end the bill for over $120 including the tip. I mean ... ridiculous... it's ground beef, cheese, lettuce, rice and beans. Pros: Great location, big drink menu, coconut crushes, bottomless chips and salsa. Cons: incredibly loud club music at all times, questionable service fee, everything is on the pricey side. We visited here twice while killing time before heading into Oceans Calling. The location is great. The staff is well trained and friendly. They have a policy that if you're at a table, you have to order food. You can't just sit with drinks. We ordered $5.99 chips and salsa which also had a $3.99 "service fee". I have no idea what that was for. The second visit we ordered burrito bowls which were HUGE, but unfortunately it's parboiled rice which was a weird texture. Overall the taste was good if you don't mind that texture. The coconut crushes are great! The place served our purposes but it's definitely not a bargain. read more

I walked in the bar sat at the bar and sat at the bar for 10 minutes while a gentleman at the register behind the bar took and ate his lunch, drank his sodas and then took a shot . I had to ask another server that was there is anyone working the bar because the guy looked at me and kept eating. He said yes and that same gentleman that ate his lunch came to try to serve me. The food taste like microwave meals. I specifically asked for white meat chicken in my quesidilla and it was not. In fact it was 90% cheese and 10% mystery chicken. The ladies room was swarming with flies. Servers were hanging out right outside the door feet up on the bench playing on phones chewing gum etc. I am all about taking a break but this dis not look good at all. Won't go back. Come here to get their famous massive margaritas! Highly recommend getting one to share (or not) and order the endless chips and salsa when taking a break from the beach! The location for some margaritas is pretty good! Right on the boardwalk. I wish there was a few more spaces to people watch from the front (there are two tables that overlook the boardwalk). This place is right on the boardwalk. My friends family and I were looking for some good Mexican and came to Guidos because it was conveniently located near our hotel. We immediately noticed they were playing explicit rap music even though it was a Mexican place. Would've definitely preferred some Spanish music. Our food was good, although we did notice this place was quite overpriced. We got chips and salsa as an app and they were ok. I ordered carne asada tacos, they were seasoned well and were good. Keep walking, you'll find something better. The food is extremely overpriced and underwhelming. For three adults and one 16 month old our bill before tip was $104, back home this bill would/should have been in the $40s or $50s. They charge for chips and salsa. All the items that normally come with meat at 'normal' Mexican restaurants do not here. My $14 taco salad did not come with meat, for a $7 (or maybe an $8?) up charge I got like 4 table spoons of not-very-good-tasting ground beef.. same for my wife's fajita burrito. Ocean City food options have since I've been coming, always been mediocre in general, but do yourself a favor and keep searching. The food didn't make us 'sick-sick' btw, but multiple of us didn't feel great after eating the food. And the taste of it was kinda gross and/or not fresh. read more

I'm really surprised at all the bad reviews here. We stopped by Guido Burritos for a drink and appetizer on the boardwalk. They had a DJ playing some fun music so the fun vibe drew us in. We sat at the bar and split a patron monsterita (it was huge!) and an order of the nachos. Both were amazing! This is a great place for some good drinks/food and dancing. You get what you get here. Good mix away from seafood. Right on the boardwalk for lunch is pretty efficient for a starving human such as myself. We ordered light food but BIG drinks. We polished off 2 64oz Margs. Must be why I cant remember too much about the remainder of my review. Well, the chicken quesadilla was good and Paris was a fun waitress who livened up the place. Drinks: Moderately priced and cheap to add a shooter making these drinks extra strong. So if you're looking to get buzzed-this could be your place. If you're hungry or in search of higher quality food-you should keep walking. I agree that service was pretty spotty with long periods without ever seeing our server. I suggest the chips and salsa because the salsa is pretty good. Careful, though, it creeps up on you. I had the blackened mahi mahi tacos. Our waitress (Kaylee I believe!) greeted us promptly and was extremely kind and attentive throughout our dinner. The chips and salsa were great, the drinks were fine, and I liked my carne asada tacos. My mom's chicken quesadilla smelled off and she could only take a few bites. My sister's fish tacos were dry and the rice lacked flavor. This chain is one of my favorites to hit when I'm in OC. Stopped by on a rainy Sunday with some friends. The staff was great in seating +15 of us really quickly. We ordered the nachos, wings, beef nachos, carne asada street tacos and the calypso burrito. This is your typical Tex Mex spot, but they do appetizers and Mexican food right. The burritos are delicious and packed with plenty of flavor. The calypso is a must order if you love seafood. It's a combination of cheese, scallops, and lump crab meat. All stuff into a giant burrito. There was so much food we had to take this one home. The 60z monsteritas are really fun and pack a lot of value. Don't pass on the flights either if you love tequila. This location get really packed just because its by the boardwalk. If you have children or large parties I recommend the other location. Great spot for awesome food and good music read more
