The sausage was pretty killer, a tad spicy. The mushroom pasta had a tinge of lemony zest to it. Morels were deliciously panfried in butter. My favorite was the to go order for a third person though: pistachio Alfredo, a similar sauce to the wild mushroom pasta but a bit nuttier. Zero complaints with the food, and i look forward to the owners new location (pizza Lotties) that will be opening soon i hear. This place is dangerously close to five star perfection, if only it were not so crowded (locals know whats up) and it's also a bit loud. The open air kitchen is a nice touch but probably doesn't help with the noise. Imo good food for decent value and would be worth the wait (you can enter into the waitlist online which i will certainly do next time and probably opt for patio seating if possible) All in all very satisfied. This place has a cool menu that seems to evolve and explore the culinary arts. We put in our food order as well because we did not know how long it'd take her to come back. Thank God we did because it took forever for her to come check on us. We didn't get one refill, didn't get one "do you need anything." We watched her talk to who I assume was the manager about pre-closing, and watch her take phone orders. I get that she might be new, but there seemed to be no interest in taking our order or serving us. After we finished our food, we stacked our plates and waited for it another 30 minutes for the check. When we finally received it, I just walked up to the counter to get checked out because I was not going to give her my card and wait for another God knows how long. Appreciate the advice, but I did express frustration and was met with more frustration. Work on your training practices.

This is how the driver received the pizza from the restaurant. The second photo shows what the pizza looked like when the box was opened, which looks like it had been dropped with half of it flipped and folded over. You can even see the bottom of a slice of pizza on top. This is how the driver received the pizza, so this is an issue with the restaurant and not the DoorDash driver. This is UNACCEPTABLE and a health code violation to serve food that has been dropped. The driver also had to wait for the order to be made after he arrived, which took 90 minutes for three pizzas to be made. Serving food that has been dropped constitutes cross-contamination and exposes the food to dangerous biological contaminants. Health inspectors can fine or temporarily close restaurants that fail to discard dropped food. DO NOT EAT HERE. $100.12 spent on food my family can't eat. Instead we made scrambled eggs for dinner at 9:30 pm on a Friday night.

I called the restaurant right away and, after some back and forth, I was told they would remake the order and redeliver it. Later, I received a text message saying they were unable to redeliver because their delivery scheduling system was down, and that I would need to come pick it up instead. I explained that I couldn't do that because I have an infant who had just gone to sleep. At that point, I was frustrated -- the situation started with a mistake on their end, and a pickup solution didn't resolve the issue for me. That said, I do want to acknowledge that the owner/manager stepped in and worked to make it right. He offered compensation and ultimately arranged for a new order to be placed and paid for personally so it could be delivered to us. While the initial experience was inconvenient and frustrating -- especially with the communication being handled by text instead of a call -- I appreciate the effort that was made afterward to rectify the situation. I hope future orders go more smoothly, but I do respect a business that takes responsibility and tries to fix a mistake.
