Lemon Iced Tea. Just the right amount of sweetness, and they don't skimp on the lemon slices.

I'm a fan of brothless noodles, so I tried their Spicy Dry Mix. I added beef, some bacon, wood ear mushrooms, enoki mushrooms, some veggies, tofu, lotus root, and made a base of vermicelli and chewy potato noodles. Garnished it with some green onions, cilantro, and sesame oil. They have fewer toppings than other malatang places, but everything I needed was there. Plus the meat was fresh, and the vegetables were crisp! It was delicious with just the right amount of spice for me. I didn't use any dipping sauces because there was already enough flavor in the spice mix. This all went great with their Hong Kong Style Iced Lemon Tea. The place is well-lit and air conditioned, so I was able to comfortably enjoy my food even on a hot day.

So excited a new malatang restaurant in our area! They have lots of options of the soup base here. We got the golden broth, spicy and beef broth. They all pretty good. The kids love it and finish the whole bowl. Owner is very friendly. We will definitely come back next time.

Finally found a really good malatang spot not far from my home! The restaurant is very clean and newly opened. I tried their newest soup base and it was absolutely delicious. Even if you're not great with spicy food, they also have non-spicy options that are definitely worth trying. Will definitely be coming back again!

Very friendly staff, clean, and fresh ingredients! A lot of other malatang places use pre minced garlic but here there is fresh chopped garlic! A win for us I appreciate the non frozen corn as well so there's a nice crunch to the corn. We also loved that the slices of meat were a little thicker as well. Good selection of things to choose from whether you perfect meat or seafood !

The service here is absolutely amazing. The drinks and food are incredible, and the host made the experience even better. Usa provided outstanding hospitality, along with the owner, you can truly feel the care they put into this place. If you're looking for somewhere to eat, don't hesitate to stop by. And whatever you do, don't miss the tea drinks, they're a must! I came here with my date not knowing where to go, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. Definitely support this small business. Great people, great food, and such a welcoming atmosphere. I'm super thankful for the hospitality and can't wait to come back again!

I super recommend this store~ The base is amazing~ and service which is great too. They have 7 different flavors base. My base is spicy & sour beff broth. I attached the pic, I think this is the most popular one! I will be back for sure! And post different flavors! The store is really clean. Love it! And come to try ~

Finally, a family-owned hot pot spot that skips the commercial powders for real, simmered-from-scratch flavors. The broth is noticeably clean and natural, lacking that heavy, artificial saltiness you find at the big chains. Just a heads-up that there is a one-pound minimum per pot, so it's definitely a hearty meal best shared with a friend. If you appreciate quality ingredients and a more authentic, home-cooked feel, this place is a refreshing change of pace.

Good food, I loved their secret tomato broth, it was something new but It was so great! I also loved their service. Nice people. They recommended good broths for us and they guided us since it was our first time there. Being there for the first time, I just know people will love this place!!!

The food is so good. The service is great as well. I specially like the secret tomato! It's so different than other stores. Strongly recommended!

My friends' and I malatang was so yummy!! Everything was so fresh including the meats, which has a wide variety. Their prices are cheaper compared to the other malatang places in the area and it feels like a mom and pop restaurant They are so nice and they even offered to pack our leftovers 10/10 experience , 10/10 food, 10/10 people

I ordered the Angus beef (the mid-tier option), and it was so tough and dry... it honestly felt like I was chewing on something between paper and beef jerky. For something that's supposed to be a more premium cut, it was a letdown. Did I still eat it? Yes. Did I tell my husband it was fine so he wouldn't feel bad about us spending that much? Also yes. I just didn't want to turn it into a whole thing over a meal that already felt like a waste. What made it harder to ignore was the overall condition of the place. The windows were dirty, things felt a bit unorganized, and the whole restaurant just had this worn-down, low-effort vibe. I don't usually pay much attention to ratings, but I did notice the B rating and, unfortunately, it matched how everything felt. There was even a fly around our table and food the whole time, which just made it worse. The sauces were really runny and didn't have much flavor, which is disappointing because that's such a big part of shabu. I do want to say the service itself wasn't bad the staff was kind but you could tell they weren't exactly happy to be there, and it kind of added to the overall energy. It just sucks because this is the only shabu spot in town, and I really wanted to like it. When you're paying $29-$39 per person, you expect a certain level of care and quality, and this just didn't feel like that. I really do hope they take feedback like this and improve. I know times are tough, and I'd love to see this place do better.

The place hasn't changed much in years. The staff is friendly, and the food is served quickly. The standard AYCE Hot Pot comes with a stable selection of two beef options, one pork, saba fish, fish balls, chikuwa, quail egg, raw egg, mixed vegetables (e.g. three types of mushroom, spinach, cabbage, tofu, taro) among a couple other options! By default, it has a few soup bases, but the ones I got (miso and sukiyaki) were a $2 addition each. The more premium option would run around $45 I believe which includes the additional soup options. They also have combos that are pretty good if AYCE isn't for you.

The ponzu makes everything super palatable, which helps cut through some of the richer cuts of high-quality wagyu. Definitely recommend visiting! Just a heads-up on parking: the plaza surface lot can get pretty busy depending on the day and time, so I'd suggest heading straight to the underground parking structure.

Considering how hot the weather already was outside, there did not seem to be adequate air conditioning or enough fans to keep the dining area at a comfortable temperature. We tried to communicate our concerns to the staff, but they were not helpful. Instead, we felt rushed to pay the bill, and the way they handled our concerns felt dismissive rather than genuinely trying to resolve the situation. What concerned us even more was that the excessive heat appeared to affect the food itself. The raw meat warmed up very quickly, became extremely soft, and released a significant amount of reddish liquid onto the plates. It no longer looked properly chilled or appetizing. Given how hot it was inside, we were genuinely concerned about whether the raw meat was being kept at a safe temperature. We ordered three plates of meat but ended up barely touching them because we simply did not feel comfortable eating them. Cleanliness was another major concern. Some of the bowls did not appear to have been properly cleaned and still had visible food residue from previous customers. There were also unpleasant odors around the condiment and beverage areas, which made the overall environment even more uncomfortable. At one point, it became so hot that we genuinely felt like we might suffer from heat exhaustion. In a restaurant serving raw meat, proper temperature control, cleanliness, and a safe dining environment should be basic priorities. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience. Even if the price may seem affordable, it is simply not worth saving a few dollars when the dining environment, cleanliness, food quality, and customer service are this concerning. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this restaurant.

Since it was my very first time experiencing hot pot, I wanted to go all out and try a bit of everything. So we ordered both the Wagyu Experience and the Mo-Mo Experience, which gave us access to all four delicious broth bases. While waiting for our main meat cuts to arrive at the table, we checked out the self serve area. Their savory Japanese curry is mouthwatering, and they had a cold noodle dish that was super tasty. I had to exert some serious self control not to fill up on the curry before the main event, but it was just so good. Once the meats arrived, my sister showed me how to cook them in the bubbling hot pot. Every single broth had its own unique, rich flavor profile, and every single one was delicious. The quality of the meat here is premium grade, and the marbling on the Wagyu beef was absolutely outstanding. I'd love to see where they source their meats because everything tasted ridiculously fresh, right along with the items at the veggie station where they offer over 20 different vegetables, noodles, and toppings. I got the split pot with sukiyaki and jelly golden chicken broth. The sukiyaki was slightly sweet and full of umami flavor. The jelly golden chicken was flavorful and comforting. You can tell they boil down chicken bones from the chicken fat in the soup. They have 3 meats on the prime menu that were wagyu. All 3 were super tender and required little to no chewing. The abalone were massive and firm yet tender. We got the shrimp paste as well which was flavorful and filled with chunks of shrimp. The veggies were fresh and I enjoyed the variety. My favorites were the crown daisy, spinach, enoki mushrooms and Napa. They even have the sweet potato wide rice noodles that are slimy and chewy. Not a lot of AYCE places have it so it's a rare find. The staff here speaks Mandarin, Cantonese and English so ordering was not an issue. They have a small lot in the back with about a dozen spots which wasn't an issue on the week day.

No wait and attentive service. The veggie bar is well stocked with a variety of options. Ordering was easy, pick level of pricing. Bowl type, Soup base and up to 6 meat at a time. The owner was really nice, she helped us take a pic and also took a pic for the photo wall in the back. I had split sukiayki and the mala spicy soup, both good. I also tried the tonkatsu, it was tasty. Meat took some time to come out but seafood is very fresh. The shrimp and mussel from the premium menu is very fresh. The drinks and ice cream are included. I love thrifty ice cream, with Rite Aid gone, I savor every chance I get to have Coconut Pineapple ice cream. I had the canned Herbal Tea and Milk tea, both are very good. The herbal tea was sweet, almost like dates. I will definitely come back next time I'm in the area.
