I went there and came back feeling my stomach and digestive discomfort. I won't say more - the attached photos similar to what I experienced.

Tasty goody is hands down one of the best spots to get some good Chinese food for lunch, dinner, maybe even breakfast (jk not for breakfast). Especially when you are running around in your busy life and do not have time to make dinner or lunch this is the spot to check out. They are much better than panda express and they are very generous with their portions that you can feed a family with two 3 items trays. They have indoor seating which is spacious with plenty of seats for large parties and for single diners. The food variety is amazing from bbq pork to teriyaki chicken, various vegetable dishes, orange chicken, walnut shrimp minus the walnut, mushroom chicken, broccoli beef etc... to main dishes from fried rice, chow mein noodles, vegetable noodle, vegetables. The service is great with hard working aunties and uncles. Highly recommend you check them out if you are in the area and are looking for some fast chinese food to go or dine in. They speak cantonese too

One of these bogus ass "influencers" said this place had some of the best Chinese food. If best means portions size, then yes, they give you enough food for 3 meals. But the food? Its ok. The orange chicken seemed like it was all batter and no chicken. Every bite was just crunchy batter, hardly any meat inside it. The BBQ pork had a weird ass chew to it as well. It was almost crunchy on the inside. The chow mein was super greasy. The rice was cool. The flavor of everything was decent, and you're definitely going to get full, but this aint no damn best of anything....

Pass on the fried rice Pass on the kung pau chicken taste burnt or had just a weird taste The bbq pork was ok I should of just went to staters and grabbed a piece of steak to make ‍ Not sure if I'd come back

Tasty goody has been a West Covina special for a very long time. The portion sizes are huge and the food is also good. The service was quick and polite. Can't ask for anything more.

Tasty goody is the mom and pop Panda Express. Major difference is that Tasty Goody has HUGE portions. You leave there thinking wow that was a lot of food. Two people could easily share a 3 meat combo and still have food left over. Two LIGHT eaters could share the 2 meat combo. When you walk into the plaza restaurant, you will walk up directly to the glass window, where the food is. The staff will ask you what size. For example, 3 meat combo. First they will ask you rice or chow mein. If you want both call it "half and half." From there choose your meats! Their BBQ pork is so delicious and well marinated. The orange chicken is packed with flavor. The beef and broccoli is a go-to. And if you don't feel up to all the big flavors, try the teriyaki chicken. As you walk the food line, toward the cashier they have extras like Cream Cheese Wontons and Egg Rolls, and they are always fresh. The staff works hard here, handling every order as fast as they can. The food moves fast in this place, so they are constantly refilling popular items. If you see a line, don't worry it really moves quick! The theme is Chinese cuisine with photos of food on the walls. You can order To-Go or dine in at one of their many tables or booths. They offer amazing catering deals, with party platters of full trays of 2 meats, rice, chow mein and more! Definitely worth a try.

Pot Sticker. Over done/burnt and tasted like it was cooked in old oil.

This was my first time eating from Tasty Goody and I did so based on the reviews which were generally good. I ordered through Uber eats and that process was fine. My review is for the food. I wanted wonton soup without any extra vegetables like they put in Wor Wonton soup due to some dietary restrictions this week so this seemed like it would be perfect. Although it was tasty, they packaged the wontons separately from the broth so the wontons were all clumped together and did not come apart easily once put in a bowl with the broth poured on them. It was definitely not visually appealing and as has been said, we eat with our eyes. I have had much better elsewhere. I also ordered the Pot Stickers. They were overcooked & burnt, so they get an "F." I also ordered Chicken Fried Rice. It was better, it had a lot of chicken, which was surprising but good and it was seasoned fairly well. However, I will not order from here again.

Super solid spot for a family dinner!…read more We ordered a massive spread from here and honestly, everything was really good. The kung pao chicken had a great savory flavor with just the right amount of kick and a good crunch from the peanuts, while the orange chicken had a really good, tangy sweet glaze to it. Just a heads-up if you like it super crunchy, their version is definitely on the softer, saucier side (which I prefer), but the flavor is spot on. The minced chicken lettuce wraps were fresh and super flavorful, and the egg drop soup was pure comfort in a bowl and came out piping hot. The absolute standout was definitely the deep fried fish fillet. The batter was super light and airy, and the fish inside was perfectly flaky and tender. We paired it all with the vegetable lo mein, which was loaded with veggies and the noodles weren't mushy at all, which is always a win. Portions are good, everything feels fresh, and it definitely hits the spot. We have been dining here for years and will continue to do so!

I was greeted warmly and I ordered two 3 item combos: Chow mien, orange chicken, mushroom chicken, and pork stew White rice, teriyaki chicken, chicken and potato stew, and salt and pepper chicken. My favorite was teriyaki chicken and salt and pepper chicken. Everything was good honestly, I didn't have anything bad to say other than the containers will leak through into the bag and you will get sauce on the napkins, utensils, and sauce packets. For the price, it was $30 plus drink and can definitely satiate 4-6 people. They have a tip jar and since I paid cash, I forgot to tip but will go back and make sure I tip! I think the intent is so you order fast and don't linger. Not a negative for me since my family usually is pretty quick about eating and going. They are also pretty good with customizing their ingredients. My wife is gluten free so we would ask that they not add in soy sauce or oyster sauce in some of the dishes that we know can still work without those two ingredients. You would need to know how to customize it yourself as I don't think they would know what to do if you simply say no gluten. Overall, I really don't have anything negative to say about this place. The sesame peanut noodles have been disappointing the last three times I've ordered them. They barely add any sauce anymore, so the noodles taste bland.
