During our visit the doctor there was able to identify my wife's issue. The staff there was kind and understanding. The lobby is very well kept and ambient. What caught my eye the most was the staff's professionalism in regard to needles and not wanting to cause harm. My wife is a hard stick and they were very considerate on my blowing a vein and they repeatedly said I'm not going to attempt if I'm not confident in the success. Poor care. I visited the Gainesville clinic after a traumatic fall hitting my head very hard. MD ordered a CAT Scan ASAP. I was told they would call me with results, no call 24 hours later. I followed up with the clinic they told me the doctor would not be back until 3 days from today. It is not appropriate for me to wait on results for an ASAP CAT Scan. They stated they would have MD call me-never did. Also, my open wounds were not cleaned and not inquiry if I have had a tetanus shot. They need to understand they are dealing with people's medical care and health. Follow-up is critical. Stay away, I will never go back! read more

Dr. Ayham Haddad was one of the worst doctors I've ever seen. I came in with pain in my belly, worried it could be appendicitis or a urinary infection. Instead of helping, he was extremely rude -- especially considering I'm only 16 years old. They ran a urine test and claimed I had blood in my urine and possibly a kidney stone, but then told me they couldn't say what was wrong and gave me a vague, unhelpful diagnosis. I was told to "follow up with my family doctor" with no real answers. The next day, my family doctor reviewed everything -- and it turns out my urine was completely fine. I was just very dehydrated, which explained the pain. No infection. No kidney stone. This was a frustrating and scary experience made worse by how unprofessional and careless Dr. Haddad was. He didn't explain anything clearly and treated me like I didn't matter. I do not recommend him to anyone, especially young patients. read more

Wait times are atrocious, when I got here there was 2 people already here and 2 people came in after me. Everyone got in to see the doctor before me and left before me as well. I waited an hour and a half for Xray results and ended up walking out anyways. It wasn't until we were walking out they coincidentally had the results ready. Waste of time and money. read more

The doctors are ok at best, but my main complaint is whoever is in charge of records. I have filled out the necessary documents many time to have my records faxed to a urologist. Not only have they not done this, they won't return my calls, and they have even lied to me about sending my records. Complete incompetence and unacceptable. Horrible experience from beginning to end. The front desk, billing department and nurse all have bad attitudes. During the entire visit, the employees were too busy playing with one of the employee's little baby, which was in the office behind the front desk, to do their job. They told me I couldn't pay my insurance copay and had to pay for the entire office visit up front because my deductible had not been met but immediately took copay from the next patient before checking anything regarding their insurance. Pretty awful. I went in for a visit regarding lower stomach pains. Sure they got me in quickly, but the doctor was a nut job. Within five minutes claimed I had appendicitis and I had to go to the Emergency Room. At first I thought he was joking, but realized he was serious as he handed my folder back to be shelved and quite literally shooed me out of the room. He didn't take my temperature, weight, or anything, and he barely asked about medical history. Long story short, ER said I was perfectly fine and it may just have been a viral infection. Antibiotics and time and it went away. Still cost me $2k because of the incompetence of one doctor here. read more

My 11 month old daughter was brought here by my wife yesterday because she had what appeared to be a big bite and was with feaver. Doctors prescribed antibiotics ( which was to be called in to Kroger o. Jesse Jewel) and told us to keep a warm compress on the bite. Yesterday and today. We tried to get her prescription filled. Finally when the pharmacy at Kroger said they didn't tho I it was sent to them, they did a system wide search and could not find that a prescription was ever sent to any Kroger. So I called Gulford and they said they do t k ow why it was never sent and would resend. Which they did. But come on people. You have to do better than that. You work I. The medical field. You have to follow through and send the prescriptions in! My sweet little girl is going on like 36 hours without her medication because of this. I expect better and WILL NOT BE BACK TO THIS OR ANY OTHER GILFORD! read more

I would highly recommend going anywhere else. Had me wait for almost 2 hours just to be seen for less than 5 minutes. After I leave I choose a pharmacy that is more than 10 minutes away and by the time I get there they still haven't sent my medication over. What a morning. My family MD was out of town so I went to an Urgent Care facility to see about all my coughing and wheezing from asthma and allergies. I left just as quickly (maybe faster) when they told me the co-pay is $100. What's the difference between "Urgent" Care and "Immediate" Care? Apparently $65.00. Then I went to Immediate Care at Guilford Clinic and had an awesome experience- all for a $35 co-pay. Dr. Haddad was pleasant and thorough- great nurses, too. Had an albuterol breathing treatment, chest X-rays, two shots (one steroid, one antibiotic) Left with Rxs for steroids, antibiotics, a new rescue inhaler, a nebulizer machine for home and all the meds for it. My past experiences with these sorts of walk-in clinics have been so-so. Mostly a cursory exam, an antibiotic, and advice to see my regular doctor. A waste of time and money. Today at Guilford, it was REAL medical care. Thanks so much, Dr. Haddad and staff- I feel much better already! read more

I took my wife in on a Thursday and she had some blood work done and was prescribed some medication. When we got the medication there at their facility we noticed the label was incorrect on the dosage per the Dr.'s order. We had to verify this and have them redo the label on the medication. We were told it would take 2 - 3 days for the blood work results. On Monday (2 business days) we called and the results were not in. Called again Monday at 6 PM .. still no results. Tuesday we called and that afternoon were told the blood had been lost and we would have to come back in to give more blood. We drove back to their office that afternoon (60 mile round trip) and gave blood again. They told us they would put a rush on this due to the "lost blood" and would have results in 2 -3 hours and would call us. The next day, Wednesday we called and that morning they did not have the results .. it was that afternoon before we finally had the results. While we had them on the phone we requested that they send the results to our family doctor due to an appointment on Thursday morning. They assured us they would be faxed over. This morning upon our visit to our Family Doctor they did not have the results ... Our Doctor called them and they said they just got the results in this morning and would fax them over. This facility is very unprofessional and they are not reliable in the work they do. For an "Immediate Care" facility I would be very wary of what they say and the treatment they provide. The simplest of task became a headache with the constant follow up and the lies told to us is just not the way to run an office. I would not recommend this place nor will I ever do business with them. I have received better service in a fast food joint. Communication and Professional this facility misses the mark 100%. This type of service is inexcusable. read more

Each time I visit Guilford Immediate Care I am seen by the doctor or PA in a timely manner and, even better, I receive an immediate response - be it a treatment or prescription. I also appreciate the choice between oral and injected meds when possible. Also of note is the convenience of seeing a doctor/PA when I am sick rather than having to wait three days for an appointment with my regular doctor. My mother in law went to the Oakwood Clinic after visting another urgent care twice with no improvement. The staff after taking her blood pressure informed her that they were calling an ambulance to take her to the emergency room. She was so dehydrated her blood pressure was very low. They started an IV and had her transfered to the ER. She was in the hospital for 3 days. Thank you to the doctor and staff... we will not use another Urgent Care but this one. read more

I don't visit a doctor unless it's absolutely necessary. The work I do requires intense physical labor at times and I've been experiencing intense pain and numbness in my arms and neck lately. I have recently relocated to the north metro area so had little choice or recommendation in the matter....Rolling the dice, I decided to try the walk in clinic off of 53 in Gainesville. After providing the receptionist my records, which illustrate that I've not had any treatment for quite some time, they suggested I travel further north to see the MD rather than a NP since they could not likely provide me with the medicine, advice, or therapy I might need. The office in downtown Gainesville was nice enough, the wait not too long. My feeling of relief was quickly dissipated however, after my initial consultation with the nurse? Assistant? I honestly didn't know if the person I was talking to was a trained medical professional or some random felon out on work release. No introduction was given at all...after reluctantly discussing my symptoms, I was left to wait for approximately 15 minutes to finally see the 'doctor'. The doctor was nice enough but seriously, at least pretend you give a care...he spent about 90 seconds with me and then told me he would get me some relief. The assistant then came back and said I was free to leave and that my scripts would be waiting for me..there was no discussion of what I would be given and the doc was gone like a breeze. When I arrived at my pharmacy, I wasn't really surprised to find I had been prescribed meds I could easily get over the counter. I was not given any therapy advice or suggestions for ongoing treatment. Please don't waste your time or money seeking any sort of treatment or professional medical advice here. I feel as if I have been robbed and left to suffer while I gather more detailed information about my injury and symptoms online than I ever could at guil-whatever....I want my money back.. read more
