Micro sized azada sopes for $9+tax RIP OFF

DON'T waste yore money you'll stay hungry. Food taste is great and one of the most authentic I've had in the area (I'll give them that) but what they started doing is shrinking their portions. They've reduced their portions by 50% and they charge you the same amount. That's a rip off! They're also always in a bad mood. It's like you're asking them for free food or something. Not friendly, no smile but the only free thing is the attitude you get. I'll never understand how some plan to make it in the food industry with a crappy attitude. If you're going to sell food to people be kind and inviting about it- after all we're the reason you have a business! The ambiance is meh..they still have the food truck on side of the road so it's not pleasant but I will say it wouldn't matter if they were friendly and honest about what they sell. I'm planning to report them for price gauging. You should never give your customers less food and gauge prices. Trust me, we're willing to pay more just change your business modo and serve a decent size meal and have a friendly attitude.

This food truck is amazing!!! I have had their asada tacos with the chile verde salsa...soo good. I just had their posole a few days ago and it was like no other, sooo good!!! I would definitely go back again and would recommend this place to anyone who loves food.

    Lemon good! meats too basic...

Almost 3-stars but really just a 'quick-fill' to shut the voices of my stomach up. It's always the same down there: Feed me! FEED us!' 'Food!' As it turned out, I'm glad that I did't have high expectations. The wait can be long because it's the ONLY option out there. Not a great incentive to constantly improve the food, some healthy external competitive pressure that keeps you on top. It's a food truck parked on a LARGE concrete pad in the boonies. It's nicely covered with a shade tarp. There are 3 large tables. The truck is located right down the street from the real treat, Belmont Nursery! Service was 'compliant' but not much more. They're busy and It works. Apple pay works, too. The plop: 4 tacos $2 each. 2 el pastor, 1 asada and 1 chicken taco. 1 Torta with chili verde $8 Unfortunately, the tacos were basic to bland. They're served on fully uncooked tortillas--the type I just eat the meat off before throwing away! Can you get rid of them quick enough?? They're right out of the bag without the slightest bit of heat, oil or effort. They're coldish, hard, RAW and almost crack when you grip the target. Thankfully, a trash container was within reach! The meats on the tacos instantly registered in the 'below exciting' spectrum of my brain. I could hear the impressions it was making, ringing..gonging in my head: Don't ever come here again!' 'Never again..' The chicken was boiled breast, stringy and tough..., nothing remarkable you'd return for. DARN! Wished it was... The torta: RIP This menu item should have been the star of this show. Hard to believe it made it through onto menu. Tiny bits of boring chili verde, 2 thin slices of bread, a few tablespoons of meat, some bland cheese, lazy. Was there anything else on it at all that could be tasted (in enough of a quantity)? Nope! The filling was largely skimpy, MIA and mostly bread. It was on the more compressed end, thin and lacked any texture. There was no 'golden ratio' achieved between bread and the filling. No, It seemed as if only the 'wand of SKIMP' had been waved in the production effort. NO flavor of a rich chili (tomatillo like 'gravy') verde sauce, no textures, no interesting elements. Scratch NOT itched. DRAT! The food was just over $17.00.. with a tip on top I can only conclude that the lack of competition in the area has fostered some level of mediocrity, a why bother? attitude. Look, it's not terrible here but more of a wasted opportunity. A ruining of your brand. Why not up the quality and pay attention to your flavor profiles, textures and improve them? I can make a better chili verde while typing on my iPad Pro.. IFFFF I had a truck out there I'd want to put out something that would knock folks' socks off. Something so good, that 'hill nor dale nor distance' (it's far from me) would interfere with a DRIVING urge to return...Daily, weekly, FOREVER?! It's as if it's some tourist trap and they aren't worried about you ever returning.... Disappointing. As the area grows and builds up, they won't be the only game in town. The action/hustle more limited in the future as the area grows. Business will decline. Why not put out good food that would pay off for you in the future, SEARING that truck's name into the customer's mind? Instead, it's easily forgotten. In short, the quality is too basic. The flavors don't pop. The value is too low. If you can repress any tendency to get excited about food, eating, and need to just get something in, it fills the spot! -G

This taco truck is located on the corner of Temperance and Belmont. On our way home after running errands we would always drive by this taco truck and finally decided to give it a try. There were about 5 people waiting. My husband ordered 2 asada tacos and pozole. Waited about 15 mins until our order was ready. The asada had a smokey flavor to it. It was a pretty good taco although there were a few burnt pieces of meat. The green sauce was spicy but made well. The pozole didn't have any flavor, the soup tasted like flavorless oiled soup it was a bit disappointing.

Stopped by the Temperance and Belmont taco truck location. Got Asada, Chorizo and Chicharron tacos. The chicharron was super flavorful but it got soggy too quick. The asada was ok. The Chorizo was meh. Also got a Chile Verde wet burrito. Good flavor but had too much rice. Would only stop by if nearby...

Finally a taco truck near my neighborhood!!

I don't think I've ever felt betrayed by Yelp reviews...until now…read more During a recent road trip we stopped here to picked up some lunch/dinner because tacos are quick and easy and their Yelp rating is high. Location/services: Upon entering the building I immediately noticed the heat. It was a hot 98 degree day and the restaurant felt like an oven and was maybe 3-5 degree cooler than it was outside. I then quickly noticed this was a very simple operation (almost like a food truck), and not much to the menu, but there were folks sitting and eating and a few others waiting to order, so I assumed the food must be great. We ordered 4 meals (tacos with rice/beans) which was meant to be eaten there but after waiting in line and feeling like we were in a hot box, we decided to make it to go. We sat and waited for our food (about 20 mins), we chatted and observed our surroundings and it became very apparent the restaurant was not maintained with basic cleaning because it was very grimy and just plain dirty. I then used the restroom and it was absolutely disgusting. Our ordered was called and the staff was very nice. The food: As I mentioned, we got 4 orders of tacos (all carne asada) with rice/beans, and we asked for salsa and limes. We got grilled jalapenos, lemons and one sandwhich baggy filled with red salsa. Not a big deal. The meat was fine but the tortillas were inedible. They were tough, flavorless, and greasy. The bean and rice were ok. We ate enough to curb our hunger but none of us finish our food. Upon my best judgement, I had convinced myself that the food was gonna be great because their Yelp rating told me so. I was so wrong! One last note, there was nothing here that resembled a bakery/panaderia. So if you think you could also grab a treat here, you are wrong.

What could have been a disappointing surprise turned into one of the best local dining experiences we've had in a long time. We had the pleasure of meeting Miguel himself, and his hospitality immediately stood out. He took the time to introduce us to several items on the menu and encouraged us to try a little bit of everything. I'm glad he did. The red beans and rice were absolutely phenomenal, and every single thing we tasted was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with pride. You can tell Miguel genuinely cares about both the food and the people he serves. What impressed me most wasn't just the food--it was the atmosphere. Miguel has a gift for making you feel welcome. His heart for hospitality is second to none, and it's obvious that serving great food and creating a great experience are his top priorities. If you're looking for a hidden gem in Clovis, this is it. Whether you're stopping in to catch a game, grab a meal with friends, or enjoy a simple flip-flop date night with your spouse, Miguel's is worth the visit. Booths, seats at the front counter facing the kitchen, and a few more tables in the center. It's not the most aesthetic restaurant but... it's on the corner of Blackstone & Dakota-- lol I didn't expect it to be. Friendly staff. Great chefs. Service is always good/quick. We've never waited long to have our orders taken or to receive our food. Now... those enchiladas! They're the closest thing to the type of enchiladas my best friend's mama makes (she's from Michoacan)-- she makes the best, most authentic Mexican food! SO, when I can't get them from her... I know where to go. They are cheese enchiladas-- served with lettuce, tomatoes, avocados, and sour cream.. sprinkled with cotija cheese. They also come with some bomb potatoes and your choice of chicken or steak-- we always go steak. Sooo good and the flavors are always on point! + They give complimentary chips and salsa-- very good. We use that same salsa for the enchis. Pair it with a crisp coke, chef's kiss! If it wasn't obvious, it's a yes from me. This little hole-in-the-wall family-run business needs more recognition!
