It has that old-school store vibe, but all the latest and greatest in everything. So much better than buying from a corporation and not seeing where your money goes. Prices are always as low as Musician's Friend or any online retailer. Great selection of used gear in the back room. Service is great because all the employees are actual musicians and not college kids looking for part time jobs like the competition has. Keep the locally owned dream alive! She has had an awesome guitar teacher who has always collaborated with her on what songs she would like to figure out and learn. We have nothing but praise for the staff at Performing Arts. They offer so many lessons, from guitar, piano, drums, and vocal lessons. They have extra things like rock band that the kids can be a part of also. But they don't only offer lessons to children they offer lessons to adults too!
