We Love the dance floor and the discount drinks. It does get busy after 9pm. The atmosphere is great.

I went to get a pizza for my fiancé. When I tried to bring it in, I was told no outside food allowed. As it was posted (I didn't see the sign), I didn't like it, but I put the pizza in my truck and continued on with the night. The reason I was told was that the venue had a contract with a food vendor. Understandable. The very next week, there was a birthday party and they had a table filled with not only typical birthday cake and such but a fair amount of food (not snacks). I brought this to the attention of Shelby the owner/manager and she told me that there was nothing she could do because they had already set up. That was the wrong position to take. She should have enforced the rules equally. It was very hypocritical of her management skills not to. If it wasn't for the fact that my fiancé loves going there, I wouldn't set foot in Guitars and Cadillacs again. I'm only patronizing the establishment because I love her. I have been coming to guitars and Cadillacs for almost 4 years. The bar staff is Phenomenal, the drinks are amazing, dance floor/dj (the best around) over all atmosphere of the club is top-notch. This bar has always been one of the most welcoming clubs for all of my buddies friends and family's. They go above and beyond for your events/celebrations on the decoration aspect of it. Out of all the bars in DFW would recommend guitars and Cadillacs 10/10. I have been in the club scene for almost 2 decades. And this is the most unique/Accepting club that I am now glad to call home. When I am on this side of town, I always like to stop in and see how this place is doing. It certainly ebbs and flows... with the crowd, and with the music. It's a huge place, with a fairly decent dance floor. Occasionally they have live music as well as the standard DJ. Of course, there's a lot more "dance" music than country on most nights. I absolutely love this place! One of the best dance floors in Fort Worth, friendly staff and management, and great drink specials. Lots of stupid boys and pretty girls. If you're out to dance, it doesn't get a whole lot better than this. $1 longnecks on Friday night,. 25¢ longnecks on Saturday night combined with a reasonable cover makes for a fantastic time. The DJ plays a pretty good mix of Country, Texas Country, and a little bit of hip hop if you feel like shaking your ass. For starters, the bouncer is a tool bag. He is super condescending and talks down to women or anyone younger than 35. He gave us a long speech about being underage and spoke to us slow as hell like we were stupid or something. Keep in mind we're all over legal drinking age and our one friend was 20. Secondly, they took our friends ID and then tried to charge her $20!!! As opposed to our $6.50 fee. I still wouldn't even pay $6 to get in here. We went to Guitars and Cadillacs to gather with friends to celebrate our 30th anniversary.. Would definitely recommend celebrating something special here.. They reserved us tables for 30 (and we still had plenty of room when 42 showed up).. Everyone was so nice from check in to end.. Our bartender was great.. She started recognizing people from our group and knew what we wanted as soon as we walked up.. Our tables were marked with balloons and a sign they had made for us.. Loved that! We saw that other tables and groups were marked off and they really knew how to give each group their own gathering spot to mingle and visit.. Our entire group, most of us way past the going out dancing all night stage, had such a great time! And the DJ was giving shout outs for special occasions all night.. It has to be difficult to deal with so many people in one establishment and still make each group feel like they are specially celebrated.. Great job done by all! read more

I've been taking dance lessons from Terri on Friday night for the past few months and it's been a great experience. All the staff at G&C go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I have to admit, it wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be. I went on a Saturday night - ladies are free, gentlemen have to pay a $5 cover. There is a coat check for $3. If you go before 11pm, you'll be asked if you want to drink beer. Say yes and you will get a poker chip for 25 cent beers. Mostly domestic beers and Shiner available. The bartenders are really cute and sweet. The drinks are not weak (yay). The space is huge and sometimes hosts country music shows. The dance floor is nice. Keep in mind, no drinks allowed on the floor (I learned that the hard way). The music was good too - they played a nice variety of country and dance music (twerk, twerk, twerk!) I was mainly impressed at how clean the restroom stayed, despite the high traffic of women going in and out of it. They were very well staffed, with bouncers and barbacks running around maintaining the area. Parking can be a hassle. Valet is $10 which kind of sucks. I had fun. So I'll be back :) read more

Wouldn't expect there to be a little country bar out in this area. The set up was nice and open with high ceilings. The Dj played all the popular songs with a few oldies in the mix. Drinks were reasonably priced and bartenders were quick and attentive for a Saturday night. Good mix of a crowd. There was an angry group who were parked around the pool table. They weren't playing pool or had dibs on the table but felt like they owned the surrounding area. Annoyed me a bit. They were in the way of literally every shot. Id come back again just because I could comfortably move about the bar, dance, drink, and play pool with out fighting a huge crowd. That's usually how it goes out in the stockyards. I went a couple of weeks ago. Found this place because it was close to our hotel. WHAT A FUN PLACE TO HANG OUT WITH FRIENDS. We went on a Thursday (ladies get in free). They had plenty of drink specials and the prices were pretty cheap. We also went on Saturday night. Happy hour until 11:00 pm. Who has happy hour most of the night? We came here after a concert at Billy Bobs. We were attracted to the no cover fee and country music playing. The dance floor is very small. The bars were a little difficult to get a drink. Dance floor had broken bottles on it which wearing open toed shoes is not a good thing. The atmosphere was awesome though. read more

Adele is the rudest manager you could hire she does not deserve to have a job wit th your company. Understand that customer should be allowed to waIt inside your building more then 5 min after close. When a responsible customer is waiting on an UBER to pick them up they should not be pushed out to the cold when it is explained that it is a wait for the Uber. She needs to be train customer service and understand that some accommodations should be applied for a wait when it is warmer inside than outside. read more

Most of the clientele on the night we visited seemed young, sketchy and low rent. I got the impression that their bouncers would be much more visible as the night progressed. The interior is somewhat dingy although the dance floor is fairly large. I prefer older country music from the 80s / 90s, so much of what the DJ played was unfamiliar to me. On the plus side, our waitress and the ladies working the front door were all very nice. Love this club! It has a fantastic floor that is solid and doesn't have a whole in the middle like some of the others around like Red River and Electric Cowboy (both in Dallas). We call those types with the bar in the middle either a donut or racetrack. There is no smoking allowed in the main building so you or your clothes can smell fresh before and after you leave. There is an outside space provided for smokers!! The club has been remodeled and looks really nice. They are always running drink specials which helps on the bar tab. Management is really friendly and works to please. In addition, Terri Bourdeaux teaches dance classes on Friday night and does a great job. Overall really a great club and great experience! read more
