Too, the line is odd, as it's only one person screening IDs for booze wristbands. We decided they don't need our bar money. Skipped on those, and went to the entry area, which has multiple entry lines. The sound is great. The light show is odd, given that it's still light out at 7pm in July. The headliner might be able to properly utilize them, though. The stage is close enough to see facial expressions from the 200s, which is great. Out here, the singer can easily walk down to the audience. He did, too. Parking is the same for indoor and outdoor seating. It's close to the event, and it's only $5. We'd previously been to the indoor theater, and liked it better. Not as hot, nor as sunny, either. I see apartments next to the amphitheater. That must be rough. There need to be more restaurants near this location. We're glad we like one of the few.

Good looking venue and all the seats give a good view of the stage area. You can reserve seats in advance or go with general admission which is more inexpensive and sit with your chairs and blankets in a good sized grassy area behind the main seats. The angle from the grass gives those viewers a decent view of the stage as well. No outside food or beverage allowed, but there is a concession stand inside the venue. A gem of a facility a little off the beaten track. Definitely worth a try.

When we walked up to the front a few of the security guards were offering extra bug spray to people that didn't have any which was just another small touch that made the venue seem really friendly. Lots of times venues heard people like cattle but at Sumtur they were accommodating and thoughtful. The best and most impressive part was the venue itself. In the fifth row, I was stunned by how clear of a view to the stage I had and how clean and well kept the place was. I was at eye level with the bands which was amazing. The seats were by far the best I've had at a venue for a really reasonable price. Also, the bathrooms were awesome. Short lines and super clean. OH OH OH AND they serve a really kick ass craft beer. Would definitely go to another show here.

They have bar service and wait staff for drinks, a QR code menu, and table card menus with specials. I thought it was hilarious they have a shot of the night, it's so not the place I'd imagine taking a shot, haha. They have wine bottles for purchase and they serve it in a bucket of ice to chill. I opted for a bottle of rosé since they didn't have a single glass rosé. It was probably the best choice because a couple drinks would have been the same price as buying the bottle for $25.
